Finding temporary comfort in a variety of vices, Georgia isn’t living her life; she’s just getting by.When her half-sister Mallory calls to say that the woman who raised them has died, Georgia decides to head home to Bayfield, Wisconsin to bury her past and face the Pack of Werewolves she left behind. Her trip home takes an unexpected turn when two mysterious men arrive needing Georgia and Mallory’s help to uncover a terrifying mystery. Will Georgia’s past continue to prevent her from having a future? Or will it help her fight battles she never knew were hers to fight?
I love when a story evolves from your regular paranormal romance to the extraordinarily written piece of work that is the Wereborn series!! Georgia's transformation to more is very well written and leaves me wanting more!!
So this is the first book I have read by this author. I was looking for something new to read . So glad that I took a chance on this author! I don’t like giving away any details but I will say that not only did it hold my interest, but I was unable to put it down till I was finished. A different take on wolves and the supernatural .
3.5 stars. Was very good until some of the characters became rote, and at 85% it started feeling silly and like it was trying to wrap up quickly. I will continue because of some of the interesting story lines, but not sure i'm in for the long haul with this one.
A different take on the supernatural world with were born wolves, made wolves and wolfen...male vampires have to stay out of the US... Politics and ideas of superiority.
