Born in Lancashire, I've been a teacher, bookseller and in a mad moment, a smallholder on the freezing fells of the Lake District where I tried my hand at the ‘good life’, kept sheep and hens, various orphaned cats and dogs, built drystone walls, planted a small wood and even learned how to make jam. Another fantastic story of a family from around Champion Street Market
So happy that the lovely daughter of the Bertalonie family after all her suffering got her man and the dreadful sister ended up where she belonged such a selfish person

Another wonderful read. Couldn't put it down. The character of Carmina is spoiled little witch. What she did to her family and her sister was unforgivable. Your characters are so real,that I could relate them to people I know or have met. Even sadly Carmina.
