this book was not it😭😭 the dialogue was so cringe, the insta love was meh, the character omg where do i even begin? they’re allegedly supposed to be 30 / 35 years old... so why are they acting like teens? not even that they’re just so immature?? who throws their whole “baggage” on a man you’ve just met at a resort? that’s not even the worst part... our male character is apparently NOT a playboy (from his POV) he just has different women on his arm at different events but never does anything with them, while everyone else in the story believes otherwise like what???😭😭 you’re either a womanizer or not - it’s just so hypocritical to me. their love confession came out of nowhere with barely any development in their relationship. overall, this book was very meh, it’s guarantee that you will roll your eyes at least twice while reading. it can be concluded that both characters are “pick me” characters who are hypocrites that act so immaturely you’d literally CRINGE at the dialogue.

Infuriatingly Awful
This is book is terrible and I really tried. I skimmed through pages but I finally gave up at 66%. The double standards flowing through this crapfest. It’s just a huge NO. Don’t waste your time it’s beyond unbelievable, the character development is awful the language/vocabulary and storylines are sophomoric. Those people that rated this book highly are simply ignorant and shallow. I can’t convey how utterly disrespectful this book is to women. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Chloe and Noah’s story was about friendship and love, heartwarming and funny.
They shared a great chemistry, as they progressed from friendship to romantic love.
The secondary characters were so enjoyable and I would like to read their stories in the series.

In the beginning I thought this was going to be a normal story but once we got to the Vegas restaurant opening and Walker attacked Chloe and then Noah went flying at him and then had a fist fight on the floor with Walker yelling "she's mine" and Noah screaming "never", I realized that this was just like poorly written fanfiction. It seriously was. All of the tropes of that and cringey moments. It was not great.

Wonderful! I love this book, “The Playboy twin of New York has Fallen!” I couldn’t put it down. Absolutely love it!
Noah and Chloe meet on vacation, Noah pretending to be on a guy’s trip and Chloe on a girls trip. Chloe left her ex-fiance Walker at the alter, she caught him cheating on her with her best friend Tracey who is also pregnant with his son. Noah, his twin brother Logan, and Anderson are lounging by the pool, they own luxury hotels and are watching guest to see where they can improve. Anderson is a trust fund baby and funded Noah and Logan’s first hotel in Bali. Chloe, Emma, Stella, Ariana enter the pool area and everyone head turns to them. Chloe lost in her phone trips and Noah is there to catch her. Later the guys are grabbing dinner when Noah gets red wine spilled on him, goes back to his villa to change his shirt. Noah strips his shirt off and walks right into Chloe, he tries to flirt with her again, and she turns him down. Not wanting to waste his time he move to go into his villa, Chloe reaches for his arm, she tells Noah she is sorry, she is stunned when he tells her he is interested in her. Chloe tells Noah what happened and why she is on a girls trip. Chloe tells Noah to ignore her, he tells her he can’t stop flirting with her. Chloe grabs Noah and kisses him, then asks him for no strings attached sex right now. Noah thinks she’s vulnerable right now so he offers her and her friends to join them for dinner and after if she’s still feels like getting under someone he’s her man. Chloe and Noah agree and both send messages to their friends. When Emma walks in she immediately hands Chloe a different outfit and tells her to forget everyone that’s happened for only one night. The Maitre d escorts the girls to a tropical oasis, where he introduces the guys. They all talk over dinner, then Stella goes back to her room, Noah tells everyone they should all leave soon. Anderson offers his penthouse for a little party. Noah and Chloe walk along the path until they reach the beach and take a seat in the sand, lay back and look at the stars. Chloe finds out Noah lives in New York then Chloe tells him she just moved there. Noah and Chloe fall asleep on the beach, the next morning Logan and Anderson don’t believe him. Noah starts telling his brother and friend about all the baggage Chloe has going on in her life, they all find out who she was engaged too. Then Noah tell them there’s nothing goin to happen between him and Chloe when she staring back at him. Three Months Later: The Stone Group is looking at candidates for their director of social and content marketing. Lenna has the perfect person for the job. Lenna introduces Logan and Noah to Chloe Jones they all act professional about the awkward meeting. Chloe has a proposal for The Stone Group and Logan and Noah are very excited she’ll be joining the team. Three Months Later: Chloe, Emma and Lenna are headed to Vegas for Chloe’s brothers, EJ launch of his new restaurant. Meanwhile Logan, Noah and Anderson are good friends with EJ and are headed to Vegas for the same reason. When the boys Congratulate EJ, he introduces the boys to his sister, Chloe. Noah heads to the bar with Chloe, as they talk about how the boys know EJ. Noah gets talking to others, so Chloe wander off, sitting in a corner, Walker approaches her. Walker wants to talk, Chloe does not. Walker tells Chloe he loves her, but doesn’t care about Tracey. Walker grabs Chloe by her neck, he tells her she won’t listen to him. Walker cages Chloe in and tells her how she humiliated him, he tells her he’s never letting her go. Walker tells Chloe that she’s his, that she’ll forgive him with time. Out of nowhere Walker is sideswiped by someone, fist are flying, Chloe realizes its Noah. Security comes and separates them, Walker said Noah attacked him, Noah said he attacked Chloe. Security looks at Chloe and she confirms Walker attacked her so they drag him off. Noah rushes to Chloes side to make sure she alright. EJ coming running up shocked they let Walker in. Noah takes Chloe back to his room, as she is a bit shaken up. Noah tells Chloe he seen from downstairs and couldn’t get to her on time. The both lean in for a kiss, but only want one kiss, then continue. Both pull apart, realizing that it should never have happened, never one regretting that it did. They both agree to be friends and colleagues, not to be weird between the two. Noah asks Chloe if she’ll stay, she’ll stay if he orders food. They enjoy their food in front of the wall to ceiling window over looking the strip. As they talk Noah starts to feel comfortable telling Chloe about his father’s passing. Noah and Logan’s father had an affair with his secretary, their mom got sick with cancer, it was quick. Shortly after her passing their dad married his mistress, the mistress Shelly turned into a monster order staff around, demanded luxury holidays, hiring more staff to take care of her. Their father worked to provide for his new wife until he was in debt, he went bankrupt and Shelly disappeared with their fathers business rival. Their father lost everything his business, his wife, everything he spent his life working for. Then their father ended his life, Noah and Logan came home found him dead in bed from an overdose. Noah tries to get Chloe to open up about Walker her ex- fiancé, Noah wants Chloe to get extra security, he calls Jackson Connolly. Noah offer Chloe his townhouse, to rent she agrees. Emma, EJ, Stella, Ariana, and Luna help Chloe move in a few weeks later. They all question why Noah is giving such a good rate, they think she’s sleeping with him. Looking for her bedroom the girls talk to Chloe about Noah and she tells them he’s not her type they are friends only, he catches their conversation. It’s a Friday night Chloe’s home alone, she wants ice cream so she heads to the corner store, picks up ice cream, wine and a few other things. On the way back she catches Noah arriving with a beautiful blonde woman, they go inside, Noah and Chloe look right at each other. Drinking her wine Chloe gets in the hot tube she realizes she can see Noah and the woman in his kitchen. Chloe can see Noah and the woman making out, the woman tries to grab him but he pulls away from her, she says something to him and leaves. Chloe watches as Noah goes to his living room turns on the television, flips through some channels, she can’t leave the hot tub as she can’t take her eyes off Noah. Moments later she watches as Noah finger unzip his pants, reaches in and adjust himself strokes himself then stops all of a sudden, looks out the window right at Chloe but she ducks under the water when she comes up his curtains are closed. Walking into the office the next day Noah passes Chloe and Lunna wrapped up in a conversation. When he passes his brother’s office he see him staring at the two woman. Noah goes in and asks his brother Logan what’s going on. Noah tells Logan he’s thinking about taking Chloe to the Hamptons to check out their new hotel so she can finalize the marketing strategy for opening day. Logan and Noah argue over Lunna and Chloe, neither one wanting to admit they have feelings for the woman. After Noah goes to his office Chloe knocks, she wants to know if he’s okay. Noah asks her about the Hamptons and that his brother thinks he favors her. They make their plans for the Hamptons and then play cupid with Logan and Lunna. Anderson finds out about Noah’s weekend plans, he doesn’t thinks its a good idea either. Noah and Chloe are given a tour by Ewan at the Hampton hotel who flirts with Chloe. Noah gets a phone call and Ewan ask Chloe if she’s interested, she tells him she isn’t but she thinks her friend Ariana would be perfect for him, so they exchange numbers. Noah comes back and catches them then he gets jealous and raises his voice, but Chloe tells Noah Ewan isn’t her type. As they walk around the estate, Chloe tells Noah her ideas and he loves them. They go and grab dinner, when there’s s thunderstorm coming in, so they head back to the hotel, when the first crack of thunder hits, Chloe white knuckles the seat. When they get to the hotel Noah grabs her but she shaking, thunder hits and she jumps into his arms. Once inside he tries to calm her down, when he’s legs go numb he tells her he’s going to carry her to her room, he lays her in her bed. When Noah goes to leave she tell him not to leave so he climbs in bed with her. Chloe tells him her parents died in a storm like this, they were with one his her dad’s clients in his private plane flying to Vegas. Chloe wanted to go with but they wouldn’t let her, promising her to take her for her graduation. When they left she refused to say goodbye, but they kissed her and told her they loved her. That is the last time she saw them. Chloe breaks down and sobs, until she falls asleep in Noah’s arms. When Chloe wakes she apologies for what happened, then they drive back to the townhouse. Chloe gets ready for the girls to come over to plan her thirtieth birthday party, then she lets Emma organize it. Three Weeks Later: Chloe decides it’s time to start getting healthy, she bought a new sports bra and now is struggling to get it off, in Noah’s office, Noah is suppose to have a morning meeting. Until she hears Noah voice, he walks in on Chloe and she ask him to help her. Of course he has to crack a few jokes, but he struggles to pull it off also. Noah has to cut her bra off to get her out of it, they both stand and stare at each other for a moment. Noah leaves then calls Anderson telling him he has an emergency, he tells Anderson what happened, now he doesn’t know what to do. When Chloe gets out of the shower Noah is standing naked with a cake in his hands. Chloe is shock but he tells her he wanted her to feel comfortable now. They each have a slice of cake, Chloe confesses she was just trying to be healthy, and loose a little weight since someone commented about her weight on instagram. Noah tells her there is nothing wrong with the way she looks, they are trolls and to ignore them. When Noah gets back to his office Anderson shows up and asked how it went with Chloe, but Logan is in the corner and questions what happened. Logan questions whether Lenna needs to be involved if they have a sexual harassment charges coming. As the girls get ready for Chloe’s birthday party, six gorgeous men stand in her kitchen. As the party gets underway, four hunky men come around the corner with a chair covered in flowers, The girls insist Chloe get in the chair and be carried to her party. Chloe spots Noah in the corner when she goes to talk to him and he tells her she’s looks beautiful, grabs her and starts kissing her. Stella calls Chloe and brakes they’re kiss everyone sings happy birthday as Chloe‘s cake is carried in. Noah has to leave because of all the naked men touching Chloe. As Noah leaves he runs into Logan, he questions Logan on where he went with Lunna . Logan tells Noah if he thinks something real between him and Chloe to just make certain first. Chloe goes upstairs to check her messages, an old friend from LA, one of Walker’s teammates wives send a message wishing Chloe a happy birthday. Chloe finds out Tracey and Walker got engaged today on her birthday. Chloe takes a moment before going back to the party to realize how her life is turning out. After everyone leaves Chloe sits on the couch thinking about Noah next-door. Chloe puts on a different dress and knocks on Noah’s door, when he answers it he’s only in his boxers. Chloe assumes he has company and leaves, she trips on the sidewalk and falls. Noah rushes to her side picks her up and carries her inside. Noah sets Chloe on the counter cleans up her scrapes and then they stare at each other. Chloe tells Noah she wants him Noah asks her if she’s sure. When Chloe gets home she finds Ariana there, it seems everyone got lucky last night. Chloe confesses she doesn’t want to mess this up with Noah as he’s her boss and landlord. Ariana talks to Noah about Chloe, she tells him not to give up on her. Ariana tells Noah she is scared of her feels, that Walker messed her up. Noah tells Ariana he’ll wait for her she’s more than worth it. Chloe goes back to see Noah later, she tells him she panicked but she wants more, she wants to date him. Noah and Chloe have a meeting with Logan and Lenna first think in the morning, they sign paperwork that they are in a relationship. Chloe and Lenna leave Logans office and Noah and Logan talk about each other relationships. Noah thinks Logan is a fool for letting Lenna walk away from him. Anderson walks in on them fighting and has to break them up. Anderson doesn’t understand why Logan is against the relationship now he been all for it all year. Anderson then lets out a secret he’s been keeping since Vegas, he married Emma. Chloe finds Lunna after the meeting and she is not alright, they take a walk in Central Park and grab coffee. Luna tells Chloe she is sick of pining after a man who will never change, so she’s looking for another job. When Chloe gets back from her walk and talk with Lunna, Noah finds her in her office. Chloe tells Noah Logan broke Lunna’s heart. Noah tells Chloe he has shocking news, that Emma and Anderson are married and living together, he tells her just about everything he knows. Chloe tells him she needs to call and emergency meeting, Saturday night, which means she won’t be sleeping over. Saturday night all the girls arrive at Chloe’s townhouse, they start asking her question about Noah, which she happily answers. As they eat dinner Chloe announces Emma has a secret she’s been keeping from all of them. Emma tells the girls she’s married too Anderson and all the details. After the girls are asleep Chloe sneaks over to Noah’s and surprises him with a little role play, but something freaked him out. Chloe ask Noah what on his mind and when he tells her nothing, she goes to leave. Chloe knows Noah just lied to her. Noah tells her he is a little embarrassed to tell her, he thought of him and her with a white picket fence, kids and a dog. Chloe says she’s thought about that too, they’ve known each other for six months, they work together, live next door and travel in the same circle. Noah confesses he wanted things he’s never wanted and it scares him, but he wants to forget about doing what they should be doing and just be together. Chloe confesses to Emma she loves Noah and she thinks he’s the one. Noah, Chloe, Emma and Anderson meet with EJ to tell him the news that they’re together, but first they tell him Emma and Anderson are married. EJ tells Noah he told him to keep his hand off his sister, Noah tells him he loves her, and Chloe say she loves Noah. EJ finally gives in but tells Noah not to break Chloe’s heart. A few weeks later, they’re getting ready for the Hamptons, Camryn has organized everything. Camryn talks to Chloe about what happened to her and Harris, gives her a little advise. When they land they head straight to Noah’s house an officer stops them, the Detective Ariana knows greets them, Detective Smith Johnson takes them inside to fill them in. Noah lets the Detective know everything they have also. They search everything of Chloes trying to find out who has her, Walkers is still in LA. Emma thinks this might have something to do with Tracey. Chloe wakes up and she can’t figure out where she is, she hears the sounds of waves crashing, a light filter through a tiny window. Emma, EJ, Stella, Ariana, and Luna help Chloe move in a few weeks later. They all question why Noah is giving such a good rate, they think she’s sleeping with him. Looking for her bedroom the girls talk to Chloe about Noah and she tells them he’s not her type they are friends only, he catches their conversation. It’s a Friday night Chloe’s home alone, she wants ice cream so she heads to the corner store, picks up ice cream, wine and a few other things. On the way back she catches Noah arriving with a beautiful blonde woman, they go inside, Noah and Chloe look right at each other. Drinking her wine Chloe gets in the hot tube she realizes she can see Noah and the woman in his kitchen. Chloe can see Noah and the woman making out, the woman tries to grab him but he pulls away from her, she says something to him and leaves. Chloe watches as Noah goes to his living room turns on the television, flips through some channels, she can’t leave the hot tub as she can’t take her eyes off Noah. Moments later she watches as Noah finger unzip his pants, reaches in and adjust himself strokes himself then stops all of a sudden, looks out the window right at Chloe but she ducks under the water when she comes up his curtains are closed. Walking into the office the next day Noah passes Chloe and Lunna wrapped up in a conversation. When he passes his brother’s office he see him staring at the two woman. Noah goes in and asks his brother Logan what’s going on. Noah tells Logan he’s thinking about taking Chloe to the Hamptons to check out their new hotel so she can finalize the marketing strategy for opening day. Logan and Noah argue over Lunna and Chloe, neither one wanting to admit they have feelings for the woman. After Noah goes to his office Chloe knocks, she wants to know if he’s okay. Noah asks her about the Hamptons and that his brother thinks he favors her. They make their plans for the Hamptons and then play cupid with Logan and Lunna. Anderson finds out about Noah’s weekend plans, he doesn’t thinks its a good idea either. Noah and Chloe are given a tour by Ewan at the Hampton hotel who flirts with Chloe. Noah gets a phone call and Ewan ask Chloe if she’s interested, she tells him she isn’t but she thinks her friend Ariana would be perfect for him, so they exchange numbers. Noah comes back and catches them then he gets jealous and raises his voice, but Chloe tells Noah Ewan isn’t her type. As they walk around the estate, Chloe tells Noah her ideas and he loves them. They go and grab dinner, when there’s s thunderstorm coming in, so they head back to the hotel, when the first crack of thunder hits, Chloe white knuckles the seat. When they get to the hotel Noah grabs her but she shaking, thunder hits and she jumps into his arms. Once inside he tries to calm her down, when he’s legs go numb he tells her he’s going to carry her to her room, he lays her in her bed. When Noah goes to leave she tell him not to leave so he climbs in bed with her. Chloe tells him her parents died in a storm like this, they were with one his her dad’s clients in his private plane flying to Vegas. Chloe wanted to go with but they wouldn’t let her, promising her to take her for her graduation. When they left she refused to say goodbye, but they kissed her and told her they loved her. That is the last time she saw them. Chloe breaks down and sobs, until she falls asleep in Noah’s arms. When Chloe wakes she apologies for what happened, then they drive back to the townhouse. Chloe gets ready for the girls to come over to plan her thirtieth birthday party, then she lets Emma organize it. Three Weeks Later: Chloe decides it’s time to start getting healthy, she bought a new sports bra and now is struggling to get it off, in Noah’s office, Noah is suppose to have a morning meeting. Until she hears Noah voice, he walks in on Chloe and she ask him to help her. Of course he has to crack a few jokes, but he struggles to pull it off also. Noah has to cut her bra off to get her out of it, they both stand and stare at each other for a moment. Noah leaves then calls Anderson telling him he has an emergency, he tells Anderson what happened, now he doesn’t know what to do. When Chloe gets out of the shower Noah is standing naked with a cake in his hands. Chloe is shock but he tells her he wanted her to feel comfortable now. They each have a slice of cake, Chloe confesses she was just trying to be healthy, and loose a little weight since someone commented about her weight on instagram. Noah tells her there is nothing wrong with the way she looks, they are trolls and to ignore them. When Noah gets back to his office Anderson shows up and asked how it went with Chloe, but Logan is in the corner and questions what happened. Logan questions whether Lenna needs to be involved if they have a sexual harassment charges coming. As the girls get ready for Chloe’s birthday party, six gorgeous men stand in her kitchen. As the party gets underway, four hunky men come around the corner with a chair covered in flowers, The girls insist Chloe get in the chair and be carried to her party. Chloe spots Noah in the corner when she goes to talk to him and he tells her she’s looks beautiful, grabs her and starts kissing her. Stella calls Chloe and brakes they’re kiss everyone sings happy birthday as Chloe‘s cake is carried in. Noah has to leave because of all the naked men touching Chloe. As Noah leaves he runs into Logan, he questions Logan on where he went with Lunna . Logan tells Noah if he thinks something real between him and Chloe to just make certain first. Chloe goes upstairs to check her messages, an old friend from LA, one of Walker’s teammates wives send a message wishing Chloe a happy birthday. Chloe finds out Tracey and Walker got engaged today on her birthday. Chloe takes a moment before going back to the party to realize how her life is turning out. After everyone leaves Chloe sits on the couch thinking about Noah next-door. Chloe puts on a different dress and knocks on Noah’s door, when he answers it he’s only in his boxers. Chloe assumes he has company and leaves, she trips on the sidewalk and falls. Noah rushes to her side picks her up and carries her inside. Noah sets Chloe on the counter cleans up her scrapes and then they stare at each other. Chloe tells Noah she wants him Noah asks her if she’s sure. Chloe pulls her dress off and throws it to the floor, then Noah pulls his pants off. Noah tells Chloe he’s wanted her since he first laid eyes on her. Noah carries Chloe to his bedroom, as they get physical Noah tells is Chloe he wants more because he’s fallen for her. Afterwords Chloe falls asleep in Noah’s bed. When Chloe wakes up in the morning she can’t believe what she did last night. Chloe tries to escape before Noah wakes up she grabs a shirt and shorts but when she turns to leave Noah standing there. Noah asked her where she’s going then tells her he wanted to hang out and take her on a date. Chloe tells him that’s fine but she has to go. When Chloe gets home she finds Ariana there, it seems everyone got lucky last night. Chloe confesses she doesn’t want to mess this up with Noah as he’s her boss and landlord. Ariana talks to Noah about Chloe, she tells him not to give up on her. Ariana tells Noah she is scared of her feels, that Walker messed her up. Noah tells Ariana he’ll wait for her she’s more than worth it. Chloe goes back to see Noah later, she tells him she panicked but she wants more, she wants to date him. Noah and Chloe have a meeting with Logan and Lenna first think in the morning, they sign paperwork that they are in a relationship. Chloe and Lenna leave Logans office and Noah and Logan talk about each other relationships. Noah thinks Logan is a fool for letting Lenna walk away from him. Anderson walks in on them fighting and has to break them up. Anderson doesn’t understand why Logan is against the relationship now he been all for it all year. Anderson then lets out a secret he’s been keeping since Vegas, he married Emma. Chloe finds Lunna after the meeting and she is not alright, they take a walk in Central Park and grab coffee. Luna tells Chloe she is sick of pining after a man who will never change, so she’s looking for another job. When Chloe gets back from her walk and talk with Lunna, Noah finds her in her office. Chloe tells Noah Logan broke Lunna’s heart. Noah tells Chloe he has shocking news, that Emma and Anderson are married and living together, he tells her just about everything he knows. Chloe tells him she needs to call and emergency meeting, Saturday night, which means she won’t be sleeping over. Saturday night all the girls arrive at Chloe’s townhouse, they start asking her question about Noah, which she happily answers. As they eat dinner Chloe announces Emma has a secret she’s been keeping from all of them. Emma tells the girls she’s married too Anderson and all the details. After the girls are asleep Chloe sneaks over to Noah’s and surprises him with a little role play, but something freaked him out. Chloe ask Noah what on his mind and when he tells her nothing, she goes to leave. Chloe knows Noah just lied to her. Noah tells her he is a little embarrassed to tell her, he thought of him and her with a white picket fence, kids and a dog. Chloe says she’s thought about that too, they’ve known each other for six months, they work together, live next door and travel in the same circle. Noah confesses he wanted things he’s never wanted and it scares him, but he wants to forget about doing what they should be doing and just be together. Chloe confesses to Emma she loves Noah and she thinks he’s the one. Noah, Chloe, Emma and Anderson meet with EJ to tell him the news that they’re together, but first they tell him Emma and Anderson are married. EJ tells Noah he told him to keep his hand off his sister, Noah tells him he loves her, and Chloe say she loves Noah. EJ finally gives in but tells Noah not to break Chloe’s heart. A few weeks later, they’re getting ready for the Hamptons, Camryn has organized everything. Camryn talks to Chloe about what happened to her and Harris, gives her a little advise. Afterwards Chloe tells Noah she is ready to go public with their relationship. Noah snaps a picture of them and post it to instagram. When they get back home, paparazzi surrounds their home, so they head to the penthouse of their hotel, extra security has been arranged. Chloe finds a video of Walker telling them Chloe is his. The girls, EJ, Logan and Anderson meet them to talk stragiedy. Lunna can’t stand being around Logan so she tells them she is giving her two weeks notice. Noah is pissed, Logan is speechless then Luna leaves. Emma gets into a shouting match with Logan, he’s being a dick, Anderson defends his wife and they throw punches, they have to be broken up, Logan says things he needs to apologize for. Stella thinks Lunna is pregnant and Emma started to have feelings for Anderson. Noah doesn’t want to loose Lunna as an employee, so he tells Logan to fix whatevers going on between them. Noah and Chloe get stuck at the hotel for two weeks while Jackson Connolly updates Chloe’s security. Noah takes a slice of Lunna’s going away cake to Chloe and Logan. After a few months with nothing happening with Walker Chloe asks to relent on the whole security twenty-four detail. Noah takes off to Australia to find the next location for a hotel, while Chloe is meeting Bethany at a bar to catch up. Chloe doesn’t feel comfortable with this group of woman anymore, all they talk about is how wealthy Noah is, she excuses herself to the restroom. Bethany goes with her, tells her to have one more drink then say her good-byes. After another drink Chloe doesn’t feel right, she can hear the ladies talking but can’t make them out. Someone gets her an uber and helps her to get home, and in bed. Anderson’s phone rings, something is wrong. Chloe’s missing. Noah needs to get back to New York but its a nineteen hour flight. Logan has the private jet ready for them. EJ flips out, his sister is missing who know where she is. Noah tries to call her but it just rings. Jackson Connolly traces her calls then anyone who was with her. Noah gets sick with worry he runs to the restroom and empties his stomach, he tells Logan he can’t lose her. When they land they head straight to Noah’s house an officer stops them, the Detective Ariana knows greets them, Detective Smith Johnson takes them inside to fill them in. Noah lets the Detective know everything they have also. They search everything of Chloes trying to find out who has her, Walkers is still in LA. Emma thinks this might have something to do with Tracey. Chloe wakes up and she can’t figure out where she is, she hears the sounds of waves crashing, a light filter through a tiny window. Everything goes dark, Chloe passes out again, she’s not sure how long she’s out again. Chloe hears a robotic voice waking her up, she searches for the camera and mic when she finds it she rips it down. The robotic voice comes back telling her that was wrong, a canister rolls inside the basement, Chloe passes out again. Noah back in New York for twenty four hours and still isn’t any closer to finding Chloe.

This is my first book from this author, and I enjoyed myself immensely. Of course, we got the "good" twin in this book. Noah is sweet, sensitive, and it's hard not to love him. Chloe is a fantastic character. She's just the right combination of sweet and sassy. The two together are amazing. The book ended up just being cute. And the ending wasn't quite what I expected as a character makes a huge turnaround in their attitude. It was really interesting to see them grow up. It's very rare to see that. So, good job. *thumbs up* lol

She's amazing, and he has a great time on vacation with her. When she ends up working for him, it takes everything he has to stay away from her. But when she ends up living next door to him, his control begins to slip. Will Chloe be the love of his life? Or will he end up like his father?
This was definitely a cute one and a good start to the series. I can already see the rest of the books being very different from this one as we get a taste of some of the other couple's drama here and there. Overall, the writing quality was decent enough. There was enough meat in the story for it to be satisfying. The romance itself was hot, hot, hot. The story itself is pretty standard for a billionaire romance and played on a lot of the tropes available. However, I thought there were a few gems in there to keep it interesting enough. Good book.

Questo libro è stato totalmente diverso da come avevo pensato che fosse. Non è molto hot (o spicy come si dice in giro), mi è piaciuto che nonostante le premesse Noah e Chloe hanno avuto una fase di amicizia. Non ho molto gradito lo sviluppo dei secondari, sì hanno incuriosito e ovviamente hanno un loro ruolo sulla scena ma penso che le loro storyline siano un po' troppo invadenti.

this was my first j.a low book and it did not disappoint! i’ve had this book on my tbr for awhile and finally decided to pick it up
i had no idea what this book would be about going in but i ate it up! i was so entertained, laughing, giggling. i genuinely had such a fun time reading this
the drama, the tension, the way these two somehow kept being connected
“it’s a small world” it’s damn near microscopic with them
i will say though, when we were finally given the ages of our MC’s (30F, 35M) i was kinda taken aback a bit because of the way they were carrying on at times, i concluded in my head that they were 25 and 27, very wrong🧍🏾♀️regardless, i still enjoyed
i was so glad to see there was no 3rd act breakup for this book because that would’ve been so disappointing after ALL the time these two spent trying not to give into the feelings they had for each other. instead we had a 3rd act conflict and boy oh boy, that was pure insanity 🤠
i also loved seeing the set up for all the other couples, like i just KNOW those other books are going to be juicy as hell. ESPECIALLY book 3, i’m far too tempted to skip the 2nd book

This was one of those reads that I started because of a quote on a TikTok that instantly grabbed my attention so naturally I had to read it!
It was a fun read but nothing crazy! I loved the friend group. I enjoyed the wild ride of Chloe’s journey, and then ending was v cute!!

This was really good, except I didn’t like the weird like plot twist drama thing at the end. Def could’ve gone a different route with that, but it didn’t ruin the book.
The best part about the book was that there was enough about every side character to make you enjoy them and want to read their stories, and this is a 5 book stand alone series. So catch me reading them all in the next 5 days 😎

Un buon esordio per questa nuova autrice e devo dire che il titolo mi ha un po’ confusa perché mi aspettavo un racconto spinto con un miliardario sexy che si fa desiderare, invece è una Rom Com con un protagonista dolce e romantico. Una piacevole sorpresa, il libro mi è piaciuto, la storia è frizzante e a tratti divertente. Si fanno un po’ di guerra ma per parte della storia diventano amici inseparabili, tuttavia c’è una chimica innegabile tra di loro che va assolutamente esplorata. Mi sono piaciuti tutti entrambi i protagonisti ma innegabilmente ho subito il fascino di Noah per il quale avevo un debole, protettivo e caparbio è riuscito a spuntarla conquistando prima la sottoscritta e poi la fortunata Chloe. Per lei ho provato molta empatia, tanta sfortuna, anche perché il suo ex non riesce a farsi da parte facilmente e non è il suo unico problema. Noah la tenta ma è molto pessimista e poco coraggiosa, per fortuna ci sono le sue simpatiche e intelligenti amiche a darle forza. Non vi aspettate solo una storia leggera e spensierata perché ad un certo punto una parte suspense la farà da padrona dando una bella impennata al libro.
La parte hot anche se non è ai massimi livelli regala spunti interessanti ed è narrata con la giusta dose di lussuriosa e sregolatezza.

Devo dire che il bello di questo libro è che c’è tanta carne al fuoco e tante coppie che scalpitano per avere la loro storia. Iniziando dal gemello burbero e antipatico Logan che continua la falsariga delle relazioni aziendali con il capo del personale Lenna ma poi abbiamo anche il fratello di Chloe, lo chef stellato Elliot che non si è ancora accorto delle lusinghe dell’amica di Chloe e aiutante Stella. Se leggerete questo libro e vi consiglio vivamente di farlo, capirete di cosa parlo e non vedrete l’ora di leggere gli altri libri della serie. Benvenuta Low, una penna degna di nota, complimenti.

Mi sono piaciuti tutti entrambi i protagonisti ma innegabilmente ho subito il fascino di Noah per il quale avevo un debole, protettivo e caparbio è riuscito a spuntarla conquistando prima la sottoscritta e poi la fortunata Chloe. Per lei ho provato molta empatia, tanta sfortuna, anche perché il suo ex non riesce a farsi da parte facilmente e non è il suo unico problema. Noah la tenta ma è molto pessimista e poco coraggiosa, per fortuna ci sono le sue simpatiche e intelligenti amiche a darle forza. Non vi aspettate solo una storia leggera e spensierata perché ad un certo punto una parte suspense la farà da padrona dando una bella impennata al libro.
La parte hot anche se non è ai massimi livelli regala spunti interessanti ed è narrata con la giusta dose di lussuriosa e sregolatezza.

Devo dire che il bello di questo libro è che c’è tanta carne al fuoco e tante coppie che scalpitano per avere la loro storia. Iniziando dal gemello burbero e antipatico Logan che continua la falsariga delle relazioni aziendali con il capo del personale Lenna ma poi abbiamo anche il fratello di Chloe, lo chef stellato Elliot che non si è ancora accorto delle lusinghe dell’amica di Chloe e aiutante Stella. Se leggerete questo libro e vi consiglio vivamente di farlo, capirete di cosa parlo e non vedrete l’ora di leggere gli altri libri della serie. Benvenuta Low, una penna degna di nota, complimenti.

The ending wasn't for me
I enjoyed this book. It was entertaining, with lots of supporting characters who you know will have their own fun stories to tell. The author did a good job of making her ex-fiance, Walker a detestable wanker...And that is why the end of the book and the outcome between Walker and Chloe just ruined it for me. Plummeted the whole experience really. Just no.
I lost interest in the rest of the series after that.

Un buon esordio per questa nuova autrice e devo dire che il titolo mi ha un po’ confusa perché mi aspettavo un racconto spinto con un miliardario sexy che si fa desiderare, invece è una Rom Com con un protagonista dolce e romantico. Una piacevole sorpresa, il libro mi è piaciuto, la storia è frizzante e a tratti divertente. Si fanno un po’ di guerra ma per parte della storia diventano amici inseparabili, tuttavia c’è una chimica innegabile tra di loro che va assolutamente esplorata. First book of the new year 2024
This was a wonderful book to start of the year. One of my favourite thing whilst reading this is how serious the characters take their bro/girl code. It just made me feel warm and humbled inside , they’re honestly just true friends . I love the relationship between Noah and Chloe no lack of communication, no third act break , just talking, loving and communicating like ordinary ppl. Aswell as asking for advice from their friends. Man it’s been too long since I read something that’s so green flagged. It feels wrong sometimes 😭🤣🤣🤣.

I chose this because it’s constantly being recommended, in the form of an ad, to me on social media. The story itself was entertaining and I read the whole thing in a day so parts kept me hooked. But there were grammatical errors and small inconsistencies in the story throughout. Just small ones but enough that I had to re-read parts to make sense of it.
