This book is a re-release of Magi Omen and has been extensively edited and updated with additional new content.
I am enjoying this series but I’m glad I’m reading it in order. It is a fairly complex story. There are so many characters to keep track of, and multiple storylines. The first couple of books I had a bit of trouble sorting out who was who and what everyone was up to. As this was the third book it was all starting to make sense, but I still had to really pay attention. if it wasn’t as complex though, it wouldn’t be as good a read.
Amanda continues learning, continues fighting, and experiences more of life. We learn of the origins of the term Magi and the reasoning behind it (quite interesting!) and Amanda learns something that she finds hard to accept.
I’m enjoying how this series is unfolding, and look forward to each book being republished.
Love the Irish slang and the definitions with them, but I am still trying to figure out how span equals spun? I love how the Characters are growing along with the plots twists and turns. Andrew leaves you wondering where next for Amanda and her team. Personally I would have dragged the Mr. Black being her father a bit longer to keep us guessing. But all in all I'M A DEFINITE FAN.
Good story with lots of magic and excitement. The copious amount of detail on the extremes of violence and sex were a problem for me, but not fatally so. I noticed other reviewers were having problems with what they consider proofreading. I think it’s more likely that it’s just Irish slang that actually should be in the story, and am not bothered by it.
Every once in a while you can judge a book by it's cover. This is one of those times. I loved the cover and hoped that the book would at least be bearable enough to read. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the book was fantastic and could be enjoyed for it's story and characters.
Summary: I'm not a great fan of urban fantasy, but I quite enjoyed this little romp. It doesn't take itself too seriously and their is obviously a bigger story unravelling,, but this is a sort of coming of age start of a series
Plotline: Not too sophisticated, but moves forward nicely
The were quite a few adventures in this book, as per usual :) , and we learn some answers and encounter some new mysteries! This is an engaging world, though some parts are dark; thankfully not too many. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
Still a good story but the proofreaders need to seriously up their game. Im still finding basic grammar and word misusage mistakes & they disrupt the flow of the story.
Amanda’s odyssey continues, old enemies come back to haunt while new enemies jump on the bandwagon. More fun and intrigue. This plot is developing and seems to still have mileage. I look forward to reading more.
Well this was definitely full of some fun and excitement. I enjoyed seeing Amanda have some time to just have fun and I must say I love 💘that red dress. We get to learn a little something about her parents which part of it is a surprise.
What an awesome third installment in the Kati Saga! This series has colorful characters and a heroine that you can't help but don't for. I can't wait to see what Amanda and her friends get up to next! Keep churning out the awesome stories Andrew!
What can I say this one stands out as the changes and maturing of characters taking some leaps in development which was fun to read, really liked this one
This more than the previous books is a real awakenjng for Amanda and ties in her past and her future that has seemingly already been prophesied. A great amanda story and a lor of threads of the storyline coming together for the overall series.
