So this is the last in the Filthy Rich Royals series and although it’s not my favourite, I did still really enjoy it.
Don’t get me wrong… it’s really good and if you could give half stars, it would be a solid 4.5 - but there were definitely parts of the writing of this story that felt rushed and that, once again is because there are a lot of mistakes of a grammatical kind. Sometimes, the sentence structure was off, which made the sentences harder to read. Quite a few times I had to re-read sections because I didn’t understand what was being said upon initial reading.
That’s not to say that Parker isn’t a fantastic writer, because she is. Her characterisation and plots are extremely good and she helps you weave your way through her stories with interest and intrigue.
This book centres around Princess Alicia of Belgium, Heiress to the Belgian throne. At the beginning she is dating Tennis Pro Playboy, Amaury Michaud. He’s the epitome of male chauvinistic douchebaggery… and he treats the Princess like his own personal trophy, despite her position and title.
Alicia isn’t happy in the relationship and knows that the longer she stays involved with Amaury, the more inappropriate and inflammatory their relationship will become.
However, when she is reintroduced to Jarek, her old crush from a summer tennis camp when she was 16, things get complicated. And is confirms that her feelings for Amaury are less than what she should feel for someone she is linked with romantically.
Jarek Rockwell is a struggling pro tennis player. Not struggling in ability, but seriously lacking in funds and a break. Meeting his teenage crush and star of his teenage fantasies at a tennis social event takes him completely by surprise and instantly all the old feelings he had for her start to rekindle.
The problem is… well… Amaury isn’t one to back down easily. It’s obvious he doesn’t love or care for Alicia… but what does care about is power and position - and his ambition means he will happily trample anyone who gets in his way, by any means necessary.
The game he plays is a dangerous one and we are talking about his game on the court. He wants win at any cost. So far he’s had his life handed to him a silver platter and unlike Jarek he has the means and reputation to make sure he always comes out on top.
What Amaury doesn’t wager on is that there is more compassion for a man kind of heart, than a man without one.
There is one thing I would say though… Alicia really frustrated me. For saying how head over heels she is Jarek she is very quick to turn her back on him. Admittedly the odds are stacked against him, but she doesn’t even consider the possibility that Jarek isn’t at fault.
She’s already knows he is a man of integrity yet she very quickly forgets this and believes a man she knows to be far from gentlemanly. It’s not until her security team and evidence surfaces suggesting he’s innocent. So, yeah I got pretty annoyed with her.
So it’s a love triangle but not really a love triangle that each point has an equal footing.
Great book and fantastic series. Loved every one of the instalments and thoroughly recommend.
Jarek , raised on a farm, trained and talented up and coming tennis star. He was born with a silver spoon or a bankroll big as Dallas, no he worked 2 jobs and taught tennis lessons just to be able to get where he needed to be.
Alicia, Princess of Belgium and the next Queen, lived a life full of movement. From dinners to meetings, fencing lessons to equestrian rides, dignitaries to dates with her security team always there. Her mother has passed away, her father is living in his own grieving world and Alicia feels like she is all alone.
There was a short time when they were very young that they had met at a tennis camp. How would that time translate for them now?
Read along as they take all the twists and turns, ins and outs to once again find each other.
You will love this book. The characters are well developed, likeable, devoted and strong. This is my first time to read a romance book about tennis players, the game and the skills necessary to succeed in the sport. The love making is passionate, intense and sizzling hot. It was different to see a female with the Title and money and a poor but caring and kind male. I was saddened by the poor family dynamics but the mother gave support and love that encouraged her son not to give up. This book is fast moving and you will not be disappointed by selecting it.
This was the fourth book in series. I had a hard time finishing this book. Could not really get into the story. Enjoyed the characters some not so nice. Enjoyed the last chapter.
Awesome story! Beautiful characters! I have thoroughly enjoyed this series! Definitely a fairytale for grownups! Parker does a splendid job of painting wonderful pictures in her pages.
Engrossing and sexy, The Love Triangle follows Princess Alicia as she finds herself caught between two men. Alicia has been dating the wealthy and cocky tennis star Amaury for the past two months, but when they take a trip together for the first time, she sees a side of him that she doesn’t like. He seems to like the benefits of dating a princess more than he likes her, and resents the fact that she has bodyguards who keep them from being alone. While on the trip, Alicia encounters her teenage crush, Jarek, an up and coming tennis player from America. Seeing Jarek again reminds Alicia that there are men out there who will see her for more than just the princess she is, and it makes her question her relationship with Amaury even more.
The writing here is great - the story moves quickly and it’s easy to like both Alicia and Jarek (Amaury, not so much). The chemistry between the two makes a joke out of her relationship with Amaury, and once they give in to their attraction the book gets downright steamy. I wasn’t sure how I was going to like the love triangle aspect of the book because that can get a bit tricky, but there was a clear winner from the start so it was never really an issue. All in all, it’s an interesting and romantic read about a princess who wants more out of life than just to be treated as royalty, and an American guy with dreams beyond his humble upbringing. I received an ARC from BookSprout in exchange for an honest review.
Some people are just petty. Jared was just down to earth and a good person. He did not deserve what happened to him at all. She should have believed him instead she turned her back on him. Had she stopped to think about the situation, she would have know he was telling the truth from the beginning. I almost felt sorry for her in the beginning of the book. She was sheltered and was not conscious of how people were being treated.
I liked them as a couple because it was genuine with them. She could relax around him and be herself. For her position, she really needed to let loose. He helped her do that. On the other hand, he was not accepting help from anyone. He put himself in so many situations that could have been avoided. I can understand the pride and not asking thing but ask anyway. As a couple, they were perfect for each other.

WOW awesome ending of this series. It's a outstanding story between all of the people who were in this story. Can't say enough about how exciting this authors book, Sexual, Drama, Excitement about how the Royals of this storylines between all the character's in this story, Funny and delish. Romance with dangerous thoughts on how to be loved by many people! ENJOY!!
Alicia is a Princess in waiting. Someday she will be Queen. She's in a new relationship with a man who is acceptable to her father. They've never really gotten a chance to be alone. Does she really know him? While visiting him, she runs into her old teenage crush, Jarek. He's now a tennis player trying to make it to the top. He comes from an American farming family, and has always had a crush on Alicia as well. When her boyfriend acts horribly, Alicia turns to Jarek. He's down to earth, and doesn't see her for who she'll become, but for who she truly is. Can a relationship really happen between royality and a commoner? I think we all know that answer. I loved this book, although the ending had me yelling, "how could they not see who's sabotaging their relationship????" This is a sexy, hot, romantic story that is thoroughly enjoyable!
Tge Love Triangle by M. S. Parker. This is Jarek and Alicia story. They met when rhey were teenagers and had a major crush on each other but they never knew. Fast forwarded When they see each other again the attraction is still there burning hotter than before. One problem Alicia is dating someone else. But the guy is nice at all. The more he acts a fool, the more he pushes her right into Jareks arms. When his father falls I'll that was the one chance Alicia took to let her feelings be known. I love how they fall in love you can feel their love coming through the pages. I love how they both happen to be each other one true love giving them exactly what they need. Reading this story made me smile because I loved those two together. Respect says it all.

Princess Alicia and Amaury have been dating a couple of months. He's a tennis player and very easy on the eyes. Sadly, lately he's been drinking a lot and being a loud mouth. Alicia doesn't think this one will last, but he's got the pedigree her father, the king, wants for her. She meets up with Jarek again, also a tennis player and she remembers him from camp. He was such a kind person, but he disappeared. She finds out the reason why he disappeared.
I loved Jarek, he was so kind, hot and worked very hard to achieve his tennis goals. Amaury was an arrogant jerk that I would love to have slapped!
I love M.S. Parker stories and have read most every one. This story, for me, was just meh. I kept losing interest because it didn't have the excitement, and hotness as usual, it was kinda boring...sorry.
Alicia is a princess who is dating a professional tennis player, Amaury. Amaury is loving all the benefits from the attention he gets by dating a princess. Alicia, though annoyed at times with Amaury, doesn't see his true colors. Jarek is an up and coming tennis player who is making a name for himself to get picked up by a sponsor. Amaury ends up drinking more than his usual and starts insulting Alicia at a party and that's when she's had enough. She ends up reconnecting with Jarek from a camp they both attended years back. Their connection is still strong and old feelings start to come back. Overall, I enjoyed this story as they overcame hurdles and misunderstandings to come out stronger in the end.
Alicia is getting her experience in life all at once! The good the bad and the awful. Trust and letting loose doesn't come easy for her so she relies on her instinct. It's too bad those instincts are no match for some people trying to take advantage of her. But Alicia is strong, smart, and caring. She has all the makings to truly be a responsible woman of power that no one will manipulate. And the best part is that through all this process of getting stronger she reconnects with an old crush. A man like Jarek is the best choice. Strong, determined, loyal, respectful and humble. He is the perfect one for her, the one that makes her heart pitter patter.
I loved this whole series. But I have to say it was really nice to see a princess and a commoner instead of the other way around. It was extremely well written and the characters were beautifully developed. I loved Alicia and how she was sweet but knew how to be strong too. Jarek Has this amazing attitude and personality. The story was a great story that just draws you in and you have to find out what happens. It has drama, suspense, and of course hot romance. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

This is the story of Jarek & Alicia. Jarek is a tennis player and Alicia is a Princess who will inherit the throne. There is also a secondary character who is Amaury. This is the love triangle. I love the way the characters were portrayed, even the bodyguards with their own personalities. History repeats itself between Jarek and Amaury. This is a good story line. Alicia has problems trusting because of her past. There is true chemistry between her and Jarek, but not Amaury. Things happen to Jarek, preventing him from playing tennis for awhile. There is a mystery that has to be solved. I look forward to more of M.S. Parker's books. This was a great series.
Best book in the series by far, which on that note I am sad that this series has come to end, I have really enjoyed these royals.
This book has it all, and with every page flip you will fall more and more in love with Jarek and Alicia ( I love the play on names with the American having the foreign name and the princess from Belgium having the American name). In this book you will find a love triangle filled with pro athletes, you will have some sabotage and set ups and you will have a love story that started many years before.
Who will win Alicia's hand I love M.S. Parker's stories and this one did not disappoint. Her Royal Highness, Alicia meets her boyfriend, Amaury at his latest tennis tournament where he is not playing due to an injury. At a party where she is either ignored or embarrassed by Amaury, she meets Jarek, Amaury's competition. To say the attraction between them is instant is putting it mildly. But will Jarek's background keep a relationship from going anywhere? You have to read to find out and will you will not want to put the book down until you turn the last page.
Witty and cleverly written, I absolutely adored this book. The expectations and demands of ones career can be a challenge but being a princess...gah! The Love Triangle had all the feels. Complete laugh out loud moments, anger, disappointment, love, romance and a fantastic plot.
This is a standalone within the Filthy Rich Royals series. And yes, you can read it without the others but each is story is excellent!
Loved it!!!!! This is the 4th book in the Filthy Rich Royals. What a love triangle. We have Alicia, Amaury and Jarek in the triangle. Who does she pick. You have to read the book to find out. You won’t be sorry. A love story that gets steamy. You won’t be able to put it down because you will want to see who wins her heart. You can read this one as a stand-alone. Read the whole series. I highly recommend this book if you want a good love story
Alicia and Jarek-loved them! Reunited years after meeting at a tennis camp as teenagers...Alicia is in a questionable relationship asJarek re-enters her life giving Alicia much to think about! Think about everything that can go wrong in a love-triangle and you will be ready for this story! I love Alicia’s bodyguards, they rocked!!! You won’t be disappointed with this story!

I really enjoyed this story of a royal love triangle. Princess Alicia has to decide between two men, both tennis players, one a star who is acceptable for royalty, and one an upcoming player who she had a teenage crush on. This story has great characters and a good storyline with humour, anger, love, and romance.

It is difficult to be able to trust even when the facts are right in front of us the whole time. The 3rd man who is the bad egg of it all who is a selfish disgusting boy not even a man because his actions are too cowardly to even call him a man or a by honestly. This is a enthralling read for royal love for sure.
