Isaac du Toit
31 books31 followersIsaac du Toit is a New Zealand artist and author who creates picture books using handmade dioramas.
His children's nonfiction picture book, Alice and the Strange Bird (published January 2025), was a finalist for the Russell Clark Award for Illustration in the 2025 New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults.
He illustrated The Long Walk , released in December 2025 by He Ara Pukerua (The Pukerua Bay Heritage Group). In 2024, he published Possum Boots , a creative twist on the fairy tale The Devil with the Three Golden Hairs.
Isaac lives in Greater Wellington, in the North Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.
