First let me start off by saying this book wasn’t the worse book I’ve ever read, but it definitely wasn’t the best by either authors. I my opinion the story wasn’t fully developed and it felt rushed. I wish there were more character development and the authors put more into the storyline. The book had drama but the drama was at best high school behavior carried out by authors.

WTH???!!!
This book was a no for me the storyline was different but it was rushed didn’t go into enough depth they were a part of the cartel but nobody did any cartel business, the sexuality of the character was different but they didn’t go into detail on why the character changed sex what’s the back story behind it. As soon as your interest was peak the book was over and your left with so many questions.

My Rationalization:
The story was one that was all over the place, with the characters being so complexed and messed up where even the ending will leave you shaking your head. I am not sure whom I felt sorrier for Zya, Raven, Davia, Kross, Terron, Julez, and a few others that were in this read. To me, it seemed like the women in this read were just too gullible. So, what can one expect from that? Some therapy was needed for this crew!
All I will say is when their secrets came tumbling out; all one could do was to see what was coming out next in this 'fast-paced world of crime, cartels, drama, and romance.'

Damnnnnnn man.....
Omg..... This ending is so damn sad man ughhhh.... Wow.... I surely didn't expect this ending. Wow man.... This is just terrible nobody had a happy ending. Terron went out that an OG wit guns blazing n they kill Kross cuz they thought that he had a gun smh. Poor Davia lost her life playing wit ppl emotions smh. This book was so good that I read it so quick n couldn't wait to read it when I was free to do so. Man I would have never imagined that Kross was a trans man who would have thought that. I sure didn't. This was definitely a great story line. Great job mama! This was fire right here! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Never Disappointed
Omg this lady can write so good!! I can always read her books in a couple of hours!! Miss Zya seemed to have it hard the whole book it was just like dang can sis catch a break and then kross comes along and starts making her happy but trouble seemed to always follow her..Davia was very sneaky from beginning to end can’t say i was surprised and with ray i guess she shouldn’t have fell for temptation poor thing..sad part is the friendship the women had was all lies..i most definitely recommend anyone to read this book!!

Omg poor Kross he was to good to be true. Its crazy how Zay friends ended up she knew nothing about it. Poor Terron i wonder did he die. His wife Marley was a mess she was crazy. Glad Julez got what was coming to him he was a whole mess didnt make any sense on what he did ...

Great read
What an unconventional read great none the less. These characters was all messed up in the head except for kross they didn't have to kill him. This book was very good I wasn't expecting kross to be trans but hey he was the better person for her. Terron needed to seek therapy. Davia died. no happy ending in this book .

CRAZY CHARACTERS!!!!
I’m not really sure how I feel about this book. If I had to choose a character I liked I guess it would have been Zya. I need more from the characters. I have some unanswered questions. It was an ok read. It had a lot of drama and craziness. I was really shocked at the outcome.

HORRIBLE!
I absolutely hate this book. There were too many side stories and mini-plots to make this a cohesive narrative. Between the fake friendships, misrepresentation of who was really who, and the unbelievable relationships, I am deeply disappointed that I wasted my time reading this book.
Peebles usually provides a good/great read for me. This clearly was not it!

This is a no for me
Like this book was all over the place. No real plot. Just really pissed about this book period. The last few books I read by this author has been disappointing. Don't know if I'll read from her again.

Wow! Another good read! The storylines were juicy and quite fulfilling. This was another one of those books that I just couldn't put down; and then, it's over. Kudos, Pebbles!

This author wrote the hell out if this story.

NO NO NO NO
This book was not a good read at all. If it was meant to be an Ah Ha Read..It would be a Nah..I have enjoyed Peebles Starr’s previous work but this book wasn’t it for me. Story was all over the place.

This was an okay read. There was a lot going on, almost too much. It was nothing but drama that gets resolved in like the last ten pages. It was crazy that Raven never told Terron about her conversation with Mason.

What an ending
Sha realized true a little too late and ended up
Losing Kross. Terreon and Raven probably would have made a great couple especially working through his issues. Jules and Davia got what they deserved.

Whoa!
This was different, but good. I knew something wasn't right when Lacey kept calling Kross 'Mommy'. I hate that three best friends fell out because of a man. I bet Raven wishes she would have took heed to Mason's warning; and Davia of Kaz's. This was a great book!
