Peter Costello is one of the Liberal Party's controversial figures, but one whom political commentators consider may be a Prime Minister of Australia. This is his biography.
A fascinating, albeit marginally conspiratorial, account of the life of former Liberal Treasurer Peter Costello. If you read this, be sure to take what is said with a pinch (or two) of salt.
Reasonably well written, I didn't find this book at all uninteresting. Particularly, I found the fact that it was written before the ousting of Howard and all that followed quite interesting. The speculation is intriguing (considering we now have the benefit of hindsight).
One issue that often arose was that the author seemed to take numerous quotations out of context (or read deeply into them) to give the impression of a great rift between Howard and Costello that may just have likely not have existed.
