This was a great book! Rhett and Libby were perfect for each other. Rhett the handsome lifeguard and Libby the quiet librarian made for a wonderful story. Rhett had to work to get past Libby's walls. But once he did they were an amazing couple with sizzling chemistry. I enjoyed this book and now I have to go back and read the rest!
"She’s got a secret that could destroy everything I thought I knew about her, but I want to know it anyway. I have to know."
This is one of those series I am desperate to catch up on. After reading Mr. September, I knew I was hooked.....so when the opportunity presented itself to ARC read Mr. November, I jumped at the chance. While it featured a different kind of male lead, I found myself just as enamoured as I was with Mr. October. I wasn't the heroine's #1 fan & I found this one to have some rather anti-climatic "big events/reveals", but overall it was another great addition to the series & to my kindle library. And let's face it, Rhett is a hero that is easy to fall for.
I’d keep her safe no matter the cost. I risked my life for hers when I’d never even seen her face – that’s nothing compared to what I’d risk for her now.
Book Facts: Told in dual POV, this shorter read is part of the Calendar Boy series, a collection of books featuring 12 different hotties all with their own story to tell. All connected with their place in this fictional calendar, all finding their HEA with the women that rock their worlds. In Mr. November, we follow the slow burning romance of head lifeguard Rhett & the woman whose life he saved. Libby is a mystery & not looking for love, but Rhett is a patient man. But will Libby's secret destroy everything? And can Rhett really protect her from the dangers of her past? This does include a cute little HEA, with a very safe storyline that shouldn't trigger any readers.
Timeline of Thoughts: Starting:I LOVED me some Mr. October, so bring on November! 9%:"I can’t figure out what it was all about, and there’s nothing I hate more than an unsolved mystery." - you & me both buddy.... she's going to have one interesting story, I have a feeling. 20%:Oh I see what they're doing.... sneaky sneaky. 31%:I'm really hoping whatever this "reason" is lives up to this build up. 37%:I seriously need her to open up to someone....its slightly annoying how she shuts down on everyone. 44%:Note to self: check to see if Reckless Heart by AJ Cole is a real book.... 47%:WTH is a biarch? I must know so I can add it to my vocab. 52%:Awe I love Cal & Ginny, I need to read their book. 59%:These two.... so sweet but also so intense & hot. 61%:This is the one moment of the book that has me rolling my eyes....how could she even say that when she refuses to be open. 64%:FINALLY..... progress. 67%:Well that was predictable & slightly anticlimatic. 68%:“Rhett...” ......**sigh** "Rhett" is right, this guy is EVERYTHING. 78%:Its about to get complicated, its got to. 81%:Dark mafia romance has ruined me....I should be adding Marco to my "hate" list, but my mind naturally wants to add him to the book boyfriend one lol. 87%:I just knew it. I REALLY wanted it to be a different scenario. 93%:Ginny & Cal are hilarious. Finished (@93%):What a fitting ending, seriously.
"The Five": Loves from Book: Cal & Ginny, Nick, Rhett reading, pineapple on pizza, Andre Hates from Book: Emily, Kelsey, Libby's inability to "open up", the "truth" (was too predictable), the "boat ride". Quotes: “I’ll do my best, man, but she has these... methods of extracting information from me, if you know what I mean?” I chuckle. “Forget it.”“No, no, no,” he answers quickly, “I can be strong. I’ve got this. My girlfriend doesn’t own me.” I don’t know if the pep talk is for his benefit or mine. -Cal & Rhett
“Because I know you’d do anything to protect me, and that makes you vulnerable.” -Libby
"I’ll do whatever it takes to help put you back together, anything, and I’m going to fuse little pieces of myself in every crack so it’s impossible for you to leave without taking me too." -Rhett
“Did you really think I was going to miss this? I’ve been waiting years to see you pose in a speedo.” “That’s incredibly weird.” I grimace. “We brought popcorn,” Ginny announces proudly. “Oh god,” I breathe. “Chop, chop, muscles, day’s a wastin’,” Cal taunts me as he sits down next to Libby. -Cal, Rhett, & Ginny
“Make me yours,” I whisper. “You’re already mine,” he whispers back, his voice hoarse. -Libby & Rhett
Honorable Mention: “Rhett,” I whisper, leaning into him. “I’m no good for you.” “Why don’t you let me be the judge of that?” -Libby & Rhett
Final Thoughts: 1. I love how this book opens up to such an intense scene. Their first meeting is definitely a memorable one. 2. Rhett is husband goals....seriously he is everything perfect in a man wrapped up in one package. And his insistence with Libby (refusing to give up) made him that much more to me considering she would have lost my interest (if I were Rhett) in far less time than it took to actually break her walls down. 3. Its apparent from early on she is running/ hiding from something. It is never revealed (even to us the reader) until well after the 50% mark. Because of this, it naturally "hypes" it up..... like I needed it to be this monumental bomb drop & sadly it didn't. I felt like it was one of the more predictable reveals & if you are going to drag us along in suspense, the "secrets" need to be a little more mind blowing. 4. I have been totally corrupted by dark romance.....Marco is the villian, yet I naturally wanted to make him a redeemable anti-hero. 5. Although some parts were predictable, I actually enjoyed the ending & how it ends in almost a typical lifeguard cliche....actually, how they ALL tie together within the series.
“You getting hurt is my biggest fear,” she confesses. “And losing you is mine.”
Overall, this was another great addition to the Calendar Boys. It didn't have thr angst of Mr. October, but Rhett is able to carry his story by being the most perfect gentleman without being cheesy. I definitely recommend this book (& series). Now bring on December!
“I’ve asked the question, Lib, all you have to do is say the word.”

Rhett meets Libby when he saves her from the water. He never forgot her and when they meet again he wants to know more about her. Libby is trying to leave her past behind. She has a hard time trusting and is harder to convince to give a chance. Rhett is recovering from a difficult past of his own. These two will break your heart and put it back together again. A good story and recommended for romance lovers.

Rhett saves Libby from a certain death. She was caught in a riptide and as the head lifeguard he saved her. A true hero. To Rhett, it’s all part of the job. Libby is new to town and tries to keep a low profile. Her new best friends won’t allow it. But exposure is danger. When her past comes into her new world can Rhett save her again? A cast of characters that are fun and lovable. A cute story with love, danger and a nice HEA.

I wasn’t 100% sure how I would like this month as heroes aren’t my go to for books but once I got into it I started to enjoy it.
Libby and Rhett have to be one of the sweetest couples from the series. She has a secret past and he is just a regular guy who falls the moment he sees her. Of course Libby needs to protect herself and keeps a distance but Rhett soon knocks down her walls and makes her feel safe. This humble hero saves her life yet again and discovers an exciting surprise.
Even though this one wasn’t my favourite of the months I still very much enjoyed the chemistry these two shared.
Ahhh Libby and Rhett you have a couple of things to get over but I think you will be ok..So these two are super cute. Rhett is nursing a broken heart Libby is keeping a secret. When Rhett sees Libby his heart gets mended pretty quickly and Libby feels that she has to protect herself so she tries, tries to keep a distance but that will change my friends.. truly a cute couple.

He is a lifeguard and handsome but he is nursing a broken heart. She finds it hard to trust as she has a secret and she loves books. He saves her from drowning but when they meet a second time a flame starts. What will happen? Will she ever learn to trust? Will they become a couple? Will her secret come to ruin everything? See if it will
This was a good read. Libby has a broken heart and trying to get on with her life. She meets Rhett when he saves her from drowning. They end up meeting again but this time it becomes more. The problem is that Libby makes it difficult because she has a hard time trusting. Thankfully in the end she finally comes to her senses and they get their happy ending
Rhett is a man who is a natural protector which suit him well when it comes to his career as a lifeguard. He has made a number of rescues over the course of his career but he has never felt drawn to one of the people he has saved like he is to Libby.
Libby has a past she wants to forget and the public attention her rescue has garnered is the last thing she wants. All she wants to do is get out of there as quickly as possible and forget the whole thing ever happened.
When fate brings them together once again Rhett is determined that he is not about to let her escape a second time. He knows that there is much more to her than he knows and he is willing to show her that she can trust him with her heart and her secrets.
I say this every single month but each month gets better and better. A hero lifeguard and a book lover with a secret, what isn’t there to love?
It was a normal day on the job for Rhett, until he rescued Libby. He was stunned by this woman, he never expected to see her again, but he couldn’t stop thinking about her. Libby was trying to blend in. She didn’t want to stand out, but things changed when she was rescued by Rhett.
I loved Rhett and Libby. The instant attraction between the two of them was sizzling. Rhett was sweet when it came to Libby, even though he knew there was something she was hiding. Libby was guarded and she had every reason to be, but I love that she eventually started wanting to live her life and opened up Rhett.
This book was steamy, suspenseful and a wonderful read from the very first word to the last.
This was the cutest book that I have ever read. I love Rhett and Libby’s relationship & how natural it felt. I do feel that there was more to explore within Libby’s family and how they became the way so Powerful. I kind of wish that could have explored more with how Rhett became friends with cal and Ginny. Overall this was a really cute read.

Another awesome book. Mr October is still my favourite but Mr November is the second.
Rhett has been a lifeguard for a long time, in fact it’s his passion. So when there is a person in need of a rescue he doesn’t think twice before jumping into the ocean to help.
Libby Reed just wants to hide from the world, particularly the TV cameras who have invaded her bubble, the day she’s rescued from the sea by the gorgeous lifesaver.
If you haven't started the series yet, it's not too late! Each book is a standalone so it doesn't matter what book you start with.
I received an advance copy of this book. I am voluntarily giving my honest review, and I plan to buy this book when it becomes available.
Which beach is Rhett patrolling? Seriously, I’ve forgotten how to swim all of a sudden
Who doesn’t like a Baywatch inspired hero running down the beach rescuing damsels in distress? Then to keep saving her, she is one lucky heroine that’s for sure.
My only complaint about this book is I need a spin off on the neighbours/best friend/matchmaking couple... they definitely need their own story... please
Another fabulous instalment in the Calendar Boys series! Rhett and Libby took me on a journey full of slow burn, fear, hope and love. Rhett is so super sweet, the perfect man. If you haven't started the series yet, it's not too late! Each book reads as a standalone, so dive on in! (You'll get the pun if you read the book)
Mr November - Calendar Boys Series - Nicole S Goodin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a stunning and utterly thrilling story this month from Nicole S Goodin.
Mr November has all the hallmarks of a brilliant psychological thriller but with such sweet, sexy and utterly entrancing characters that will infiltrate your heart and melt it.
Rhett Jensen, the every day hero lifesaver on the Beach is just doing his job, when a rescue becomes more than a random person he’s pulled from the sea. The beautiful, yet troubled woman sparks something in him that he can’t shake off.
Libby Reed just wants to hide from the world, particularly the TV cameras who have invaded her bubble, the day she’s rescued from the sea by the gorgeous lifesaver.
With a stellar cast of supporting characters, these guys take a sweet and witty romance to the next level, adding intrigue and thrilling drama to an already wonderful story.
No spoilers, just take my word for it, I think this may be my favourite Calendar Boys edition so far.
Mr November was a fantastic read! l just loved Rhett and Libby their story was sweet and with a little bit of drama, together they are perfectly matched! the other characters Calum and Ginny where a hoot, would love to get a story for them! If you haven't read the Calendar Boys Series it's a must! Bring on the finale book Mr December!
This is a great read with an awesome storyline that has well developed and engaging characters that have lots of chemistry. The smooth flow of the storyline makes for a good reading time.

Well, I definitely wasn’t expecting that that’s for sure lol
Rhett has been a lifeguard for a long time, in fact it’s his passion. So when there is a person in need of a rescue he doesn’t think twice before jumping into the ocean to help. Last thing he was expecting is the beautiful young woman that he’s instantly drawn too. The more he gets to know her the harder he falls but he knows she is hiding something. 🖤🖤
I’ll do whatever it takes to help put you back together, anything, and I’m going to fuse little pieces of myself in every crack so it’s impossible for you to leave without taking me too.
When Rhett rescued Libby out of a rip current and she refused to go to the hospital and then panics even more over being seen on the news, I KNEW this was going to be a doozy! And I definitely wasn’t disappointed! Rhett can’t get Libby off his mind, so what are the chances that she ends up renting his best friend’s neighboring house from him and his girlfriend? Rescuing her on the job isn’t the only time Rhett comes swooping in to save the day, and it made me swoon every single time. Libby wasn’t ready to date, but he wasn’t going anywhere. And Rhett proved that over and over again! He even becomes a frequent borrower/reader just so he has an excuse to pop in and see here at work. He knows that she’s guarded, nervous, and uneasy. And he doesn’t like that they’re probably connected one bit. I loved that Rhett didn’t hide from Libby. He was completely open and lays his heart out, and wears it on his sleeve for her to see. He was willing to do whatever it takes to prove that he was all in. I loved that her secrets were told from his POV. Especially since none of it matters. He was in for the long (and boy is it long) haul.
My Favorite Quotes: • “You’re something else, Libby, so beautiful, so brave.” • “You’re already mine.” • “Consider me well and truly swept.” • ‘She’s a complete mess, and I’m so fucking in love with her.’
6/10 Dirty Birdy 6/10 Slow Burn /10 Series 8/10 Series
I don't know how much more I can say about Nicole Goodin and her men of the month. I am in awe each month when I know it is time for a new book.
Well let me tell you about Mr November, if I was ever in distress, he can rescue me. I have said it before, I don't know where or how Nicole comes up with her story lines, but she continues to draw me in each month with a Sexy, Hot man I want to claim as my own 😄.
Rhett is the man of the month, he is Hot, Sexy and Sensitive. When your occupation is making sure you keep people safe and you actually have to save someones life, do save them and then follow up to see how they are doing?
When Rhett rescues Libby, there seems to be more involved than a rescue. Does he know her, has he seen her before? What is it about this particular woman that has him wanting to know, how is she doing? Can he get pass the thoughts in his mind or is he drawn to go and look for her, or will she just appear when he least expect her too?
Well all those answers will be revealed when you add "Mr November" to your "Want to Read" list. Let me tell you; you will not be disappointed.
If you have not followed until now, make sure you go back and get Mr January thru Mr November, I can tell you; you will have a hard time putting each book of the month down.
I loved Rhett. He made this whole book. Libby was eh. I know she has past trauma that greatly affects her, but the way she reacted to some situations was…I don’t know. When Rhett tried to ask her out she ran to the bathroom and never came back.
I didn’t really like Ginny. I know her personality is supposed to be over the top and exuberant but forcing people to do things they don’t want to isn’t cool. And forcing Libby to vet set up with a guy is crossing a line especially when Libby said no. I didn’t really like Cal either.
Aside from that I thought it was a pretty cute story. It was really fast paced and we didn’t get to see much of the relationship development but I still liked it.
The plot was also interesting. If you’re looking for a cute and quick read this is a good one to pick up.
Oh man I have loved these Calendar Boys and I am going to miss this series for sure. Nicole has done such a great job with them and I love how they are standalones but if you are hooked as I am then you can read them all!!
Rhett and Libby won me over pretty darn quick. I was curious about Libby's story and why she is the way she is but the more you read the more you understand. Rhett has things to get over as well but with a connection like these two have it becomes undeniable but he will have his work cut out for them!
This little number was full of suspense and a hot guy in a Speedo 👀. Think Baywatch meets The Sopranos and you won’t be disappointed.
Rhett is the area lifeguard when he saves a girl from drowning and revives her. When he gets a look at her he can’t forget it, but Libby is as skittish as it comes. She is clearly hiding something and Rhett is determined to figure it out and help if he can. Libby really needed someone in her corner and Rhett and his friends make her feel so welcome that she might actually stop running….that’s until the last catches up with her.
This series is amazing, really! It seems like each one is better than the last. I can’t wait for the last book of the series! Rhett and Libby are an amazing couple and Rhett wow, just wow... what a hero. At the other hand I spent some time to really love her, she was just too secretive. You just need to read this book. You won’t regret it is full of love, secrecy and angst!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Mr November has me tied in knots. Don't get me wrong, I loved it. What's not to like he's a hot lifeguard with a broken heart just waiting for someone to come along to mend it. Rhett is hot, kind and has the angst down to a fine art. Enter Libby....sexy, new in town and in literal need of saving, she also has a huge secret.
The bit I don't like? He's Mr NOVEMBER which means there's only one more Mr to go before I have to say goodbye to this series.
It was a good book. It made me happy and it did the job. The humble hero stuff got layered on a bit thick but I see what you were going for and I finished the book with a smile on my face. For me, this book was the perfect follow up to the gutwrenching book I read before it. We all need a little sweetness in our life.
Absolutely adorable. Rhett is so swoon worthy with his muscles and sweetness. How he slowly get Libby to open up is so cute. And him reading all the romance was hilarious and can’t argue with Libby’s point. Totally hot. Loved them together and so glad he got to save her. Such a hilarious ending.
Let me start by saying how much I hated this cover...like come on, why is he looking at the camera like that. After I've said that - the book was fine. The writing has very much improved since the first book and the storyline was also much better. The characters were fine. Overall I don't have much to say about it, honestly I'm just glad that I'm almost done with the series.
Quick fun read. Rhett is a lifeguard and handsome but he is nursing a broken heart. Libby finds it hard to trust as she has a secret and she loves books. When Rhett saves her from drowning and they meet a second time a flame starts. The instant attraction between the two of them was sizzling. The other characters Calum and Ginny where also a great addition to this book.
