From international bestselling author Nicole S. Goodin, comes a new standalone, stepbrother romance.
Lukah Andrews. Sexy stripper. Hater of his father. … And trouble with a capital ‘T’.
Margot Lowell. No nonsense kind of girl. Sassy mouthed. … And his new stepsister.
A drunk, half-naked Santa isn’t quite what Margot expected when she imagined meeting her brand-new stepbrother, but if there’s one thing Lukah knows how to do, it’s put on a show. Their mutual attraction is instant, undeniable and most importantly, forbidden, yet breaking the rules has never felt this good.
Lukah wants a repeat performance. Margot isn’t buying what he’s selling.
With nowhere to hide, and sparks flying between them, will Lukah convince Margot to give in to temptation and admit that once was never going to be enough?

I have been hooked on the Calendar Boy series since Mr February. Once I was finished that book I quickly read Mr January and I haven’t turned back. Each month I look forward to a new book and I’m never disappointed, and although this one wasn’t my favourite month to read I did enjoy it.
Lukah and Margot have a different kind of relationship but a relatable one. I loved the banter between the two and the fact they can’t hide their feelings for long. I felt the story was short and could have gone into more but overall I did enjoy it and I’m quite sad to have the series end. I still have hope for a book with more for each character.
Saved the best for last! Lukah and Margot's story will captivate you. Lukah is the typical stripper. He's only looking for a good time. When he goes to visit his father he finds out about his new stepsister Margot. He's immediately drawn to her beauty but finds out she's the complete package. Margot thinks Lukah is hot and they agree to no strings attached sex. Of course things don't go as planned and feelings get involved. You have to read this book to find out what happens. I absolutely loved this story! Lukah can be my Superman anytime!
I enjoyed this book a lot. the banter between the characters was great...and I'm a sucker for a stepbrother romance any day of the week. There was a plot twist I did not see coming at all. And I was all kinds of shocked by that. The only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 stars was the fade to black moments was one too many. I wanted more in that regards because the characters were so good together and their chemistry was on fire and with fade to black I missed seeing more of their connection. Other than that this was an enjoyable read...and I'll pick up more by this author in future.
Lukah is a strippper but there is more to him than meets the eye. He doesn't get along with his Dad and finds out that he has a stepmom and sister. Margot is temporarily staying with her Mom and is trying to get used to the fact that she has a step family. She is surprised to see Lukah is her stepbrother but is determined to try to get along. The attraction between these two is intense but they know a relationship could be disastrous for everyone. Will they be able to work things out? A sexy, steamy holiday read.
I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am leaving a review.
Lukah earns his income by working as an erotic dancer who comes across as a player but appearances can be deceiving. His relationship with his father is strained so when he arrives at his father’s home so he isn’t the only surprised when his new stepsister opens the door.
Margot is staying with her Mom temporarily and is still trying to adjust to her new family but nothing could have prepared her for Lukah. There is no denying the chemistry between them but they also realize that being together would only cause more problems but why does something that everyone believes is wrong feel so right?
This was an enjoyable read. In this one we have Lukah and Margot. Lukah comes home and finds out that his father has remarried again. He meets his stepsister and they have an instant attraction. Of course Lukah is is your typical cocky alpha. Yet Margot sees a side of him others don't. They have to deal with the parents and their nonsense but in the end they get their happy ending.
Despite the title, Mr. December is not a sweet, feel-good holiday romance. It’s hot, intense, and a little bit taboo rolled into one quick holiday read. The plot was interesting and unique, nothing like a typical holiday romance. I was mesmerized within a few pages and read straight through. I loved every minute of it!
Lukas is strong, arrogant, and full of game. He definitely earns his nickname “Trouble” given to him by Margot. In spite of his faults, he is very likeable and clearly a good guy. Margot is sweet, caring, and sassy. She can hold her own in a battle of wits! I found her to be very down to earth and someone I could be friends with.
This is the last book in the Calendar Boys series, and it certainly concluded with a bang! I’m sad to see it coming to an end. Each book is a standalone story, but I highly recommend the entire series for the holidays!
There is more to Lukah then stripping. He is arrogant, egotistical and also sweet and smart. He strips for the money to pay for law school. Margot is the good girl. Follows the rules and does not want to disappoint. He is her new stepbrother and off limits. Her mind says no but her heart and body say yes. He will not take no for an answer. Cute story with a lot of sexy times.

This was such a wonderful book. I loved it. When Lukah arrived at his fathers home, he did not know he had a step-sister. He pounded on the front door until someone opened it. The person who came to the door was not who he thought it was. He thought it was his fathers third wife, but it was not. It was Margot. She had been staying there until she found an apartment after the holidays. To Lukahs surprise, he could not stop thinking about her. He was a stripper part time. He did this to pay for college so he did not have to ask his father for money. Lukah and Margot was to be on off limits because they were step siblings. To them this did not matter. Will they play on their feelings or will the off limits stand?

Firstly how hot is this cover of Mr December, OMG Mr December is also hot between the pages! Absolutely loved the banter that Lukah & Margot have, they both give as good as they get at each other and their smoking hot together! Nicole most definitely left the best to last with Mr December it was so good! I'm a bit sad to see this series come to an end, but I'm sure Nicole has more stories up her sleeve for us to enjoy!
Holy Cow! Ms Goodin certainly saved the best til last. The Calendar Boy Series is going out on one hell of a bang!! Wow is he one sexy arsed stripping dude.
Lukah is hot enough to melt chocolate, he’s cheeky, sexy, with a bod to die for and he oooooozes confidence and cockiness THEN he meets Margot - the stepsister who can match him pound for pound. She has a sexiness about her but wonderfully sassy and witty.
This book is an absolute delight, it was unputdownable. The banter between the characters is electric, funny and hugely entertaining and the storyline is a wonderful light and flirty read with an element of fractured relationships.
I can't believe it's over! I've absolutely loved this series 😫 Lukah and Margot were amazing! I loved their banter and playfulness but also wanted to junk punch some other characters. Not gonna give any spoilers, you'll have to read it for yourself to find out who. A quick, easy to read, and fun story.
The author does another amazing job bringing a great read while introducing her well developed and engaging characters. The storyline flowed easily from beginning to the end.

I knew by the end of the first chapter that this was going to be fun! In a drunken state, Lukah gets to meet his new step sister. When his new stepmom invites him to stay for Christmas, he happily accepts since pissing off his dad is his favorite hobby. When Margot joins her mom and her friends for a girls night out to celebrate her recent nuptials, she wasn’t planning to run into her new stepbrother. In the strip club. Up on the stage. Just because she’s not his biggest fan doesn’t mean she can’t benefit from what he has to offer. And then the enemies to lovers really begins! I’m so bummed this is mostly closed door because the tension is really going places! It was delicious in all the right ways! All of the past, and current, baggage gets dumped out, and everything starts to make sense. My heart hurts for both of them. And it hurt even more as his heart breaks, and especially heart breaking as her world crumbles. But Lukah is Margot’s superman, sans cape (and most of his clothes).
My Favorite Quotes: • “Well, well, well, jailbait, I was starting to wonder if I dreamed you up.” • “At least there’s no awkward chat about whose house you’ll go back to.” • “I’m going to be everywhere you look.” • “If I give you both, you’ll want to marry me next.” • “We’re step siblings who have sex, but sure… friends works.” • “I’ll do us both a favor and wait for you to beg.” • “But, she had nothing on you.” • “As much as I hate myself for it… I want to give you what you want.” • “I said I was hungry. That usually requires something to go in my mouth.” • “Our thing is me driving you crazy and you wanting me anyway.”
7/10 Dirty Birdy 4/10 Enemies to Lovers 6/10 Forbidden Romance 8/10 Series
Lukah and Margot's Sweet And Steamy Story Scores With Its Combative Banter And Sexy Stripper Angle! There's Much More To Lukah Than Meets The Eye.
Lukah Andrews, twenty-six, finds there is more to stripping than the women and booze. For him, the best part is the natual high he gets from being on stage. He also loves maintaining his smoking hot body; keeping in shape satisfies his need for a sense control. He spent his first months on the job enjoying the endless supply of women at the shows, but the novelty has long since worn off. Still, he hasn't dated since high school, so when he needs a release he scores a quickie at the club or a bar. Cocky and conceited, arrogant and stubborn, Lukah isn't accustomed to needing to work for anything - his looks and charms usually suffice. But not when it comes to his broken relationship with his father. Angering his father gives him pleasure, however.
Margot, twenty-three, is crashing with her mom and new step dad until after the holidays, when she plans to sign a lease on a new apartment near the hair salon she works at. Rick has been good to her, and her mom seems super happy. Still, Margot worries that her mom and Rick married too quickly and it won't work out. She doesn't want to make a mistake like that. She is a dreamer, waiting for a Superman to rescue her.
When a drunken man shows up at the penthouse apartment while she is home alone one night, Margot is shocked when he claims to be Rick's son. He is obnoxious and keeps calling her jailbait. The next morning she wakes to discover him cooking while wearing nothing but his boxers. Despite being sober, the flirting continues full throttle.
Rick hadn't mentioned a step daughter was part of the package when he invited Lukah to his third wedding. She looks seventeen - thank goodness it turns out she is of age. Sassy and sweet and sexy - Margot is perfect girlfriend material if only Lukah were looking.
Lukah and Margot are instantly attracted to one another despite the forbidden nature of a potential relationship. Their heated banter is entertaining. Lukah routinely drives Margot crazy, and in return she wants him despite his egotistical ways. They both make assumptions about one another. Both get mad. But Lukah's ego and his fun times mask the pain he burried years ago, and his truths could impact Margot if they got out. The couple battles through and earns their HFN.
Lukah and Margot's sweet and steamy story scores with its combative banter and sexy stripper angle. There is much more to Lukah than meets the eye. This is a quick read. The POV alternates between Lukah and Margot. The plot is complex, unfolding to reveal the secrets of the past. Given the length, some characters are well-defined, but others lack definition. Margot and her mother would benefit from further attention, as little is known about either. Lukah's character is nicely defined, though, as is his father's. Lukah's character has great depth; so much of his crazy antics and odd behavior is understood once the facts unravel. I rate this book four stars.

I am getting a towel to wipe the sweat from my face after reading this book.
Mr December is H to O to the damn T!! This month I get to spend time mesmerized by Lukah, the insatiable man of the month. I can tell you; you will never be disappointed by any of the “Misters” Nicole Goodin gives you in her Men of the Month books.
Lukah is definitely one to desire, he has the body and the Cocky personality to match. Playboy that he is and giving it all to the ladies when he is on stage. But there is more to him than meets the eye. He loves being the ladies man, but that one drunk night he stumbles upon the beautiful Margot will forever be embedded in his mind and body.
The only problem is Lukah has to come in contact with the one person he despises in order to be near Margot. They say first impressions are forever. Can a person be different than what the present when you first meet them? Well Lukah is determined to change the impression Margot has of him and it doesn’t matter that his worse enemy may be the very one trying to stand in his way.
If you want seduction, mystery and overall total hotness, don’t hesitate to put this book on your “I absolutely have to read list”, I promise you won’t be disappointed. I will continue to say it over and over that Nicole Goodin is an outstanding author and each book has you wanting to go into a secret place and read and even pretend you are actually the character you are reading about.
"This wasn’t part of the plan. He wasn’t part of the plan. Sex with no strings has never been more complicated."
I am a big fan of the Calendar Boys series. Having came across it late (Mr. October was the first to steal my heart), I have big plans to go back for the hotties I missed.... that's how much I LOVE this series! And that meant I was totally here for Mr. December, even though it also meant the end of the series. But boy did we go out with a BANG! This taboo romance was EXACTLY how this series should have went out, and Nicole definitely delivered!
"Lukah Andrews is three things for certain... Sexy as hell, a god in the bedroom, and absolute, undiluted trouble."
Book Facts: Told in dual POV, this is the 12th standalone in the Calendar Boys Series. Lukah - arrogant hottie, body to kill for, absolute trouble, and a stripper. Margot - total spitfire, legs for days, total wild child, and Lukah's new stepsister. From the first moment he set eyes on her in her tiny pjs, he knew he had to have her. She may desperately want all the sinful things he's offering, but he is one giant red flag. But when they give in to one night of taboo passion, both will discover it didn't do anything to satisfy their desires. The problem? Margot is dead set on not having a repeat performance. It does end with a HEA.
“Trouble,” she says, her voice a moan. “Inevitable,” I correct her.
Timeline of Thoughts: Starting:Bring on Mr. December! This might end up being my fav! 7%:Sweet Baby Jesus is right.... no truer words could be spoken. I need a visual & the actual song ASAP. 16%:If anything else, both of these characters are funny af.... so far I'm impressed. 24%:Jezussss that was the hottest non-sex scene I've read in a while. 27%:No freaking way! If I were a man I would have blue balls---that was a literary dick tease! 38%:Their constant back & forth bickering would normally be maddening BUT these two have a way of making it a fav of mine. 45%:I NEED them together.... they are one of those rare book couples that are PERFECTION together. 54%:I have a feeling whatever is between Rick & Lukah's bitterness towards each other is bigger than I assumed. 62%:Oh you have got to be kidding me....enough with these literary dick teases. 73%:I fucking KNEW it! Gawh he is such a sleaze ball. 86%:Oh no sweetheart you can DEFINITELY judge the shit out of her....it doesn't make you that stupid. 92%:How do I always forget they all come together here? I love it! Finished:I am so happy it ended this way! Perfect Mr. December!
"The Five": Loves from Book: "Jailbait", Beth, Griff, the bachelorette party, the back & forth bickering/flirting, Hates from Book: "coming to the strippers", Rick, “Yeah, boy!” (something about it made me cringe), her mom, the series is over! Quotes: “Jailbait,” I murmur. “Trouble,” she replies, and I grin. “Beth,” her friend chimes in. “But I’ll take a sexy nickname if you or any of your buddies want to throw one my way.” -Lukah, Margot, & Beth
“You’re infuriating.” “And you’re irresistible, jailbait, now shut that pretty mouth and watch the god damn movie.” -Margot & Lukah
“That’ll only wind you up on the naughty list.” He smirks, his boyish grin cocky as hell. “It’s cute that you think I’d want to be anywhere else.” -Margot & Lukah
“You’re trouble.” “You’re damn right I am,” I growl, my hands landing on her hips and digging into the soft flesh beneath her clothes. “I steer clear of trouble.” “Good fucking luck with that, jailbait. I’m going to be everywhere you look,” I rasp. -Margot & Lukah
“She was hot too.” “Good for her.” “But...” he rolls over, facing me, eyes still shut, “she had nothing on you.” I still. Did he...? “What?” I whisper. “Jailbait,” he says, sleep thick in his tone. -Lukah & Margot
Final Thoughts: 1. Fav Thing: It would have to be their back & forth bickering/flirting. 2. Least Fav Part/Scene: Her mom at around 84-85% 3. Margot: I instantly loved her. She was funny & sarcastic af, spunky as hell. Even when she was denying him & not giving into Lukah it didn't bother me bc of her spitfire little attitide. She looks young & innocent but she is a little wild child. She is an easy add to my fav heroine list bc she is so badass on every level (her flirting, spunk, her "game", & her strength) 4. Lukah: He gives one hell of a first impression. He is also funny af & he gives absolutely zero fucks. He is a cocky asshole but totally has the looks, body, & goods/skills to back it up. He doesn't give up easy, & is a truly misjudged person (more than meets the eye). He is an amazing flirt with a deliciously dirty mouth. 5. Writing: I can always tell when reading her books that she is a seasoned, well - rounded author..... everything just flows so naturally. Even the way they interact with each other feels both believable & seriously HOT. She has a way of making you want to know these characters, like they are real people. Even the big "oh crap" moment I kinda suspected yet it still was done in a way that was "big". My only small issue? She skipped the sex scenes!
“Stop making me forget that we hate each other,” she whispers, her voice pained. “I never hated you.” “But that’s our thing.” “No. Our thing is me driving you crazy and you wanting me anyway.”
Overall, this was another great installment and hot guy to add to the "Calendar Boys". Of course I'm sad its over BUT what a way to out! I only have one question.... where can I get this calendar? lol
“I love you even when I hate you,” I tell him. “Even when I want to wipe that cocky smirk clean off your face, you still get the better of me. You’re my Superman.”

Lukah works as a stripper and it used to bring him pleasure having an endless source of women at his finger tips. However its gotten old when you get it so easily. Margot is staying with her mom is her new step-dad until after the holidays when she can sign the lease on her new apartment and start being on her own. She works at a hair salon and is happy with her life but she worries over her mom. Lukah comes to his father's penthouse when Margot is there alone his dad never told him that his recent marriage also got him a step-daughter. Sparks fly between them but Lukah thinks she's younger than she is so he fights his attraction for her. They fight back and forth and soon that heat from that leads them to sleeping together. Will this be something that can be serious for them? What will their parents say?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Lukah knocks on his dad's front door wanting to be let into the house. Calls for dad, no response; calls for new mum, a response! The door opens is a young girl that he mistakes for his new stepmother! Drunk as a skunk wearing nothing but the bottoms of a santa suit he falls asleep on the couch. Margot knew that her new stepfather had a son but holy hell did he have to be so damn sexy! I thoroughly enjoyed this story! Omg the banter, name calling, is hilarious! And the steamy scenes, I need a new kindle! I loved the style of writing, it's funny, it's quirky, it's lighthearted with this contemporary rom com. I loved the use of NZ slang and how it was interwoven in the story, made the story realistic! The story is from both perspectives as Lukah and Margot have a casual fling that develops fast into a relationship. First impressions aren't always correct ones, as Margot discovers when she gets to know Lukah better. They do have to overcome hurdles mainly their parents; but they do it together. The story is well written and fast paced. There is an epilogue and a HEA! Recommended!!
I have enjoyed and loved every story in this "Calendar Boys" series. So when I saw this one I was so excited about reading it. From the very beginning I was thinking what have I picked up! I could not stand the arrogant cocky man with his potty mouth. However, my view quickly changed and I could not put it down. You see the real people that are the cocky, arrogant, entitled stripper and his snarky step sister. I like how their story unravels!! A touch forbidden, but not really. I absolutely love the very witty banter between Lukah/Trouble and Margot/Jailbait. Some of the other characters also bring in some humor and wittiness. However, "Rick" is a real classy piece of garbage and poor excuse for not only a man but a father. I feel for her mother until she does what she does. This is a fun story with some drama, angst, twist, turns, great banter, humor, passion, steam and a scumbag. Great story that completely sucked me in until the very end! Mr. December will definitely warm your heart but he is her superman.
*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.*
This book is so good. The story revolves around Lukah and Margot. They first meet when Lukah turns up at his fathers apartment drunk as a skunk, wearing boxer shorts and holding a Santa hat. Margot has no idea who he is; he thinks she’s his fathers new wife. In fact, she is Lukah’s new stepsister. Despite getting off on the wrong foot and arguing via banter continuously, there is an instant attraction there. Lukah’s just home for the holiday season and whenever he’s is town, he works as a stripper at his best friends club. Margot is a hairdresser, on holiday over Christmas and staying with her mum until she can find a new apartment. When her mums belated hen night ends up at the strip club, things heat up between them, especially after the show. Whether they like or dislike each other at the time, the banter between them is quick witted throughout the book and it’s amazing how much can be conveyed with just one word. An excellent, enjoyable read :-)

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Lukah and Margot. She's a young woman that is currently living with her mom and stepdad. Lukah is a young man going to school to be a lawyer but strips to get money for school. So one night after doing a show Lukah shows up at his dad's apartment only to meet Margot/Jailbait. He can't believe his dad is dating her, she so young, only to find out her mom married his dad. The relationship between Lukah and his dad is non existent, so the fact Lukah and Margot are drawn to each other really puts a damper on things. But the taboo nature causes issues but feelings will win out.

Mr December is the final book in the Calendar Boys series by Nicole S Goodin and it is so awesome. I was seriously so upset to see this series come to an end. I loved each and every one of the stories so much and this final one was the topper on the tree that is the Calendar Boys.
Mr December focuses on the story of Lukah and Margot, a stepbrother/stepsister forbidden romance that leaves you wanting more when it’s all said and done.
When Lukah’s father marries Margot’s mom, they don’t expect what they see when they meet each other. The undeniable tension between them is hot enough to shoot sparks, and they can feel it, even when they deny just how much they are affected by the other. When they finally give in to the temptation of being together, the sparks fly so high that you’d think it was a New Years celebration complete with fireworks.
I love everything about this story, from the witty banter to the nicknames Lukah has for the beautiful Margot.
If you love witty banter, forbidden romance, you will love all things about Mr December! If you haven’t read any of the books in the series, I highly suggest all of them! You can find them on Kindle Unlimited!
Margot and Lukah are new step-siblings, Lukah comes back to town for the holidays, doesn't get on with his dad & makes a bad first impression, more so when she finds out he's a stripper. But they can't fight their attraction to each other and Margot realises there's more to Lukah than he projects.
This is the 12th book of the Calendar series. It's the first book I read from the series and didn't feel like they were linked so was fine to read as a standalone. Might go back to read the rest.

Mr. December is the last book in the series by Nicole S. Goodin, and it definitely ended with a bang.
Lukah is more than he appears, when at home his father sees him as a playboy, that is making nothing of his life, but in reality he is working towards his law degree.
Margot not sure what to make of her Mom's new husband or his son. As she spends time with each of them , the more she learns about both her judgement quickly changes as their true selves come out.
Margot and Lukah has a powerful chemistry from the start as the banter, caring and support brings them together.

I can’t believe I’ve finally reached the end of this series 😭 10/10 recommend reading these!! Each story was so much fun and I just want to re-read them all over!!
With that said we end on a high note with Mr December. What a way to meet your new stepbrother then him barging in drunk and dressed like a half naked Santa while thinking your stepmom #3 😂 Then things get even spicier when your out for your moms bach and he’s one of the strippers! Lukah may be a hot playboy but once he sets his eyes on Margot he’s all in…even tho it’s a lil taboo. This had lots of laughs and these two had a great story and banter. So sad it’s all over thanks for the ride @nicolegoodinauthor ❤️
A riveting final book 12 in the Calendar Boys series; a taboo romance with a well written and engaging story line! There is drama, witty banter, humour, and intrigue. It is an engaging page turner that moves at brisk pace, will pull you in from the first page, and keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next. The characters are likeable with off the charts undeniable sexual tension between them. Definitely recommended!
