"Cooper" (HC Heroes Book 5) by Donna Michaels is a wonderful read. I absolutely loved Cooper and Abby's story! This was a fantastic addition to the series. This story is packed with romance, passion, hot former military heroes, close friends, family, interesting and entertaining characters, humor, and more. I'm anxious to see what happens next with this entertaining group in Harland County. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, military, family and friends, and series.

If there was ever a book that could be judged by its cover this is the one!!! I'm sorry--NOT!!! As I read the story I realized this guy was actually Cooper.
For all of us die hard Harland County fans this was a must read. Visiting with old friends, enjoying the sites is a wonderful way to spend a day. That being said, you don't have to read the other books first. Cooper and Abby are quite capable of standing on their own.
For the most part this is a forbidden romance. Carter, Cooper's friend, just happens to be Abby's brother. As ex-seals they take the brotherhood seriously. But some rules are meant to be broken. Some hurdles are worth jumping. Sometimes love is worth getting out of your own head. Thank goodness Cooper shook off his insecurities.
There always seems to be a lot of drama, danger in Donna Michaels' books, but I had started to wonder with Cooper. I should not have doubted her. The author had perfect timing. Cooper needed a wake up call. Cooper needed to realize what was important. What is important is Abby.

OMG these DC Hero books are so good each can be read a large a stand-alone, this is Coopers and Abby’s story. The path to true love never runs smoothly but when you get in your own way it becomes harder. When Abby has the chance with Cooper she takes it. Thinking there on a dead line with her brother away they try to make the most of there time, only to be surprised. Cooper is the one who needs to sort things out. With sexy men strong women and exciting stories each book in this series is fantastic. We get to catch up with all the characters from books past as they all add to each new story. Brilliant series.

I love the men in the HC Heroes series. Cooper can't take his eyes off of Abby. The problem is she's the sister of one his coworkers Carter whose a military buddy. The code says hands off but it's a fight because he's constantly drawn to her. Abby has had it bad for Cooper since she met him but has been too shy to let him know. Then one night they kiss and a whole new future opens up for both of them. Sweet love story.

Donna Michaels nails the sexy in her new release in the HC Hero's series. Cooper stole my heart with his sensitive side, always looking out for others. The protective man you want to wrap your arms around and protect back.
Ms. Michaels touch of humor pops up with these crazy birds and their comments. I love how she adds a little something to make the readers giggle.

It's feel-good, sexy & moving romance.
Cooper & Abby, are perfect together.
They have cared about each for a long
time, but always keep to themselves.
That is till Cooper overheard about Abby's
bucket list. Another great story in the series! Can't wait for Dean's book.

Cooper: It was a great adventure with Cooper and Abby! I love the dialog and how it was written. Great bunch of characters. I love how well they all work together. I liked how the whole brotherhood and no crossing the boundary never stick once they were out of the military. I really enjoyed this addition to the series and all the surprises.

This story blew me away. It was amazing to think of how detrimental assumptions can totally undo someone's life. If someone like Abby hasn't came into Cooper's life he may never have found happiness. This was a beautiful example of how love changes everything.

It is always a wonderful read coming from Donna Michaels. Her heroes are great guys even though most feel they are flawed. Her women are gutsy and tenacious! An added bonus for me is running into characters from previous stories. Cooper and Abby have sex appeal and chemistry. And when things explode, hold on! Great read!

"Cooper" is book five in the HC Heroes series and it was a fantastic read. It is the story of Cooper and Abby, they have known each other for a while. Cooper and Abby's brother are best friends, and since Cooper is a former SEAL and her brother is a former Delta, they have a military brother code, you don't mess with their family. This has never stopped Abby from dreaming of Cooper, and wanting more than friendship with him. Once Cooper finds out that Abby has a bucket list and he has a starring role in it, he sets out to help her fulfill her list. The problem of the brother code is not the only problem that Cooper has and Abby vows to find out just what that is.
This book is loaded with passion, romance, family, friends, fun and a little angst thrown in. I highly recommend it to all romance lovers.
