Execution Failure
Incredibly cheesy to the point I was cringing. Plot was good, but execution wasn’t there. I think writer tried too hard to create an Alpha Male character, (and I’m huge fan of alpha men) when in reality he came across as kind of wimpy when he needed to be Alpha and take charge the most. I wish I could find more books with a strong female lead who doesn’t apologize for taking life by the horns so to speak and strong male lead who is willing to do everything he can to find the woman who stole his heart and not even attempt to try with someone else like this guy did. For a couple who claimed they were in love, they should’ve done so much more to be together! Instead of a happen chance meeting -that wasn’t even surprising! -And idk who you are, if you think a guy has snubbed you, you def wouldn’t jump right back into bed with him! (He didn’t, but she didn’t know that at the time!) Come on! And never in the history of ever has reckless sex with someone you legit just met sexy or okay. There’s a difference between insta-love and insta-lust. The writer seemed to want to portray that this couple had was insta-love based off of nothing but lust but they were all “I love you so much” right off the bat! Why? The description of this book also made it sound like the guy fought for her and the baby to be in his life where it couldn’t have been further from the truth. He was a wimp. The only redeeming quality he had was trying to help her patch things up with her friends (don’t get me started on them and that dynamic!!) if you want a book just for the smut, this might be for you. There’s some cringe worthy things in that as well but that’s more of a personal non preference thing so I didn’t count that in the review. HEA and technically no cheating so that counts. I guess. 2/5 stars rating.

Cruising along 😍😍
Ooohhh... This one was a perfect fun filled ride for me. Exactly what I was in the mood for. A beautiful vacation on a cruise with a HOT alpha and a beautiful shy sweet girl.
Abby is on a cruise holiday with her two best friends. It's much needed and the perfect way to spend her holidays. But what she thought would only be a fun outing turns out to be so much more for her.
She stumbles upon the magnetic cruise owner, Carter Jones and they have an Insta connect.
Their Chemistry is soo on fıre and so damn Hot. But what's more special is their bond. The beauty of their relationship is how they truly care deeply about each other. Until a misunderstanding almost breaks them apart.
I loved reading this one. It was like I was on a dream holiday on a cruise falling in love with a Hot stranger. Sigh!!!!. Loved this one ❤️🔥

Carter and Abby
Billionaire cruise line owner Carter hooks up with ladies he meets on his cruises in his clubs, spends the night and moves on to the next. CPA Abby and her friends take a cruise to the Bahamas for a friends vacation. Abby meets Carter the first night and pretty much ghosts her friends, making her friends angry. After a dinner together with Carter the ladies agree to a weekly dinner once they return home to make up for the cruise. Free to be with Carter, Abby falls in love. On the last day before she goes home Carter has his secretary give Abby his contract into. Unfortunately his secretary gave her incorrect info....

The thing that turned me off most about this book was the talk in Abby's head. Describing his manhood as a cock pole amongst other things was very off putting. She's 27 not 17. The story ends with a happy ending and they live happily ever after, however, I would have like to know how he dealt with his secretary, since she was a friend of the family surely he didn't just fire her but did take care of her since she ad been with him for so long. Again my stars are for the childish and irritation fo the stupid words to describe not only him but her as well in the beginning. If you can scan past that the book is cute.

Mister Daddy is an entertaining contemporary romance by S.C. Adams. This story is written in first person, alternating point of view format, not my favorite. Carter has built an empire of cruise ships. Abby has given in and agreed to go on a cruise with her two best friends and lands on one of Carter's ships. Carter and Abby's story is packed with drama, humor and sexy bits. I enjoyed reading Mister Daddy and would be happy to read more from S.C. Adams in the future. Mister Daddy is book 1 of the Irresistible Daddies Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.

I really wanted to love this book, sadly I did not.
Editing issues e.g. She wore red dress then it was green, parts seemed very rushed and so lacked details .
I enjoyed the chemistry Carter and Abby shared by th rows with friends were very petty and childish and Carter not liking condoms came across as selfish, and the fact he admired to current plan to have as with on each trip stating he went in bare
was major turn off as a reader.....sexual diseases clearly aren't of concern to either party.
I've enjoyed books from this author but sadly this wasn't one of them.

Mister Daddy
This is my third book by S.C. Adams today. This was was my favorite so far. This was such a yummy 😋 book and there is no words in the dictionary to describe how hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥and sexy this book was. All the books 📚 have a lot of very hot scenes but they all also have a wonderful background story too. Which makes all the books 100% perfect. I can’t recommend them enough and 5 stars doesn’t do these books justice.

Just awful. Definitely put me off my dip into the world of romance, second chances and secret babies. So many inaccuracies throughout the book, the characterisations were appalling and storyline just utter rubbish.
I rarely give scathing reviews but if anyone gave this more than a 1-2 star they are bonkers!

This was fine, but a bit disappointing. I was expecting a second chance romance with a secret baby but for most of the book the hero and heroine are together. Up until 70% we see how they met and got together and only the last 30% is them separated and that’s when the second chance aspect comes in.

Way too forced!
The whole book was ridiculous from the beginning to the end. The storyline was way too forced and the whole idea of the guy being an alpha was pushed over and over, explicitly. This one is a hard no for me.

Mr Jones, the male, the alpha male. Abby referred to Carter, with all of that, while in bed, well, out of bed too. Then, at the end, she keeps referring to him as her husband; before he even proposes. Abby falls into bed with Carter, again, after over a year of thinking he gave her false contact info, no questions asked. The friends! OMG Cait and Jess, what a mess!! Read at your owns risk.

So so bad. I don't ever expect much from these other than some steamy sex scenes, which is totally fine, but even those were extremely lack luster. I also couldn't stand the female lead. Her response to her friends questioning why she wouldn't spend the day with them instead of her was infuriating and completely over the top. I'd dump her as a friend just for reacting that way.

Carter Jones owns a cruise ship line and Abby is on her first cruise with friends. Carter spots Abby the first night of the cruise and sparks fly. They spend pretty much the rest of the cruise together. Plans to keep in touch get mixed up, Abby finds herself in a predicament. They meet again a year or so later and Abby is able to tell about her surprise. One of the biggest reasons I really enjoyed this book is actually two fold. Carter is a lot older than Abby yet they connect, the other is it’s clear that Abbey is a “curvy or bigger girl”. Age and looks are beyond these two. They make a connection and eventually over come the separation that happened, to find their happily ever after. When you look at book covers you usually find that super good looking female but in this book I felt a more realistic heroine was there beside me while I was reading.

Abby has chosen to go on her first cruise ever with her two best friends, however, no one could of prepared her for her initial interaction with Mr. Carter Jones. Unbeknownst to each other, they are looking at their future upon laying eyes on each other. He is the owner of the cruise line she is on, as well as everything she could of hoped for in a man. As for Carter, he is captivated from the get go, with the luscious Abby. There is everything to love about this romance.

It has been quite a while since I enjoyed reading such an entertaining second chance romance. The characters are unique & well-developed with realistic emotions feelings & expectations. The world building & scenes descriptions are extremely good. The plot is fascinating plot with unexpected events.
There is: a domineering alpha male bad boy (Carter) discovers that the woman (Abby) with whom he has had a temporary fling has had his baby boy (Timmy) & now he’s going to claim them both, some twists, intrigue, drama, some adventure, attractions, friendly advice/warnings, discovery, manipulations, false information, heartache, caring friends, a unexpected surprise, desperation, verbal confrontation, accusations, realization, love, steam scenes & a happy ending.

Clarification, unlike the summary, it was more than one night. It was several days and nights aboard a Caribbean cruise.
I was put off initially by the fact that the sex scenes as written, and their dialogues, both inner and outer, sound as though they are narrated by a twelve year old boy (boobies? man-goo???), but I powered through that until the female protagonist, who happens to be 27 years old and is supposedly college educated and intelligent, yet isn't self-aware enough to figure out why her friends that she's been ditching for an onboard romance are annoyed with her for her constant insertion of her hook-up's name in all their conversations, and when they tell her it's just a holiday romance she thinks they are just being mean to her because they are jealous. Ugh.

This was a great fun loving romance. It was very hot and steamy! Abby goes on a first time cruise with her two best friends. She meets a mysterious tall handsome man at the club. He tells her his name is Carter Jones and he is the CEO and owner of not only that ship but many. At first Abby was skeptical about his revelation but then he tells her his story. After awhile, they both agree to continue what they've started in his cabin. They have mind blowing sex most of the night and into the morning. They continue to grow closer throughout the trip spending as much time as possible with each other. Will it be possible for them to make it work outside of the cruise? Or was it alk a fling? I highly recommend this book!

I liked this older man/younger woman romance. I thought the storyline was fun and I really liked both characters. I loved the attraction and chemistry that Carter and Abby shared, it was intense and steamy. I felt this book read very easily and I found it very enjoyable. My one issue was that we're supposed to believe that a forty-five year old, attractive, successful billionaire is clueless enough to believe that he can't get a virgin pregnant!!!??? I'm sorry, but this was so over the top, crazy that it was ridiculous!!!! If you can try to ignore that though, this was a good read. I am posting a truthful review of my own accord.

She is an innocent, hot sexy woman. He is a very good looking alpha male. She goes on a cruise with her friends and when they go check out a drink and dance room she meets him. One thing leads to another and they have sex and spend quality time together the rest of the cruise. He is an important part of the cruise line. Well circumstances happen that she ends up pregnant and when she tries to find him can't. This is an exciting, emotional, dramatic, intriguing story. Just imagine it happening to you. A hot story. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
