It is my second read by Mrs Aubrey Wright and I found the same ingredients as In the first one, awesome chemistry, steamy scenes, danger, suspense, betrayal and a lovely HEA.
Kat is such an innocent, after months working in Vegas, she still can’t see how rotten people can be. Despite her naivety , she is no damsel in distress, she stands her ground and refuses to be bullied even by powerful men.
With James, it is an instant attraction with a sizzling response to another’s closeness.
Because of their scorching attractiveness, she abandons herself in his arms for one night of incredible sensuality.
When she founds herself later caught in crossfire, it has nothing to do with their one night of intimacy but more she being at the wrong time in the wrong place.
Whatever, James steps on and vows to protect her.
James is no choirboy, he is the head of the DiMarco business for over a decade, but his place is challenged by his competitors and even in the nest of his family. Why Kat brings a breath of fresh air in life, pinpointing what it lacks and making him rethink what he really wants from it.

This was a insta love relationship. We meet Kat who is working as a waitress in Vegas at a high end restaurant and she has been tasked to work in the VIP area. Unfortunately for her one of the big shot mobsters has taken a notice of her and she shoots him down, something that you do not do with a mobster. Luckily for her that James owner of the place she works steps in and gives her his protection but he is also a big time mobster. Kat's attitude wasn't realistic, they would be no way she could have said and done the things that she did. And for her to be a virgin and just get it on with James the very first meeting and he not know, yeah don't believe. James was also did not really act like a bad boy, all in all I still enjoyed.

I was going to be nice and give it 2 but then I reread my highlights and remembered the cringe that is this book.

The blurb is a bit misleading. Yeah she’s apparently a Virgin. But doesn’t act like one, doesn’t fuck like one, and her virginity is barely glossed over. That seems to be a trend recently. Authors putting key words into the titles like click-bate. Shame.

I am loving each and every book that I read from Aubrey. They just keep getting better and better with each one I get to read. This one has it all. Suspense, twists, turns, mind blowing moments, romance, love , heart stopping moments, happy ending. Everything you want in a great book but a little more. I absolutely love Kat and her feisty little attitude. She always gives back what is given. She doesn't ever let anyone walk all over her. Never did she think for one minute she would get involved with a rich sexy crime boss. But she ended up needing his protection in more ways than one. But getting with him completely changes her life and his. I absolutely loved the chemistry between these two. It was sweet, off the charts off and just swoon worthy. This was one gripping amazing book from beginning to end. Aubrey did it again. I cant wait until I can read the next one from her.

A THRILLING Love Story with some Mafia romance
VEGAS VIRGIN, by Aubrey Wright is a great Mafia Romance with a set of courageous and strong-willed main characters that will have readers in love and rooting for their happy ever after from the first chapter onward. James, a Mafia Boss and Kat, his beautiful employee, face dire circumstances, with little control over their consequences. As a result, their relationship is accelerated by those conditions and trust is built over their efforts to keep each other and a small surprise safe during a tumultuous time between the various Crime Bosses of Vegas. There is also unrest and some downright backstabbing going on right under James’ nose, and the climax of that situation appears at the same time that James and Kat realize . . . Well, I guess you will have to purchase your own copy of VEGAS VIRGIN to find out about that, but know that you are getting hours of entertainment, romance, and a promised HEA! While VEGAS VIRGIN is not my favorite title by Aubrey Wright, it is a wonderful story and I am glad that I volunteered to read it. I am also volunteering to review VEGAS VIRGIN. I'm giving this book a total of 4.5 stars. The title doesn’t do this book justice because it really doesn’t revolve around her “virginity”. What I can tell you is that I had a hard time putting the book down because it intrigued me. The storyline was written really well and I enjoyed the characters and the way they were developed. James DiMarco is the head of the DiMarco crime family and is owner of a casino in Vegas. Katherine “Kat” works at the Lux which James owns and as soon as he sees her, he is fascinated by her. When she has a run in with one of the VIP guests, he steps in to take care of it. From there the attraction and chemistry between these two is off the charts. Can a man change when he meets the right woman? Can a woman who wants a simple life of independence live in the world of violence?? Well you are going to have to read the book to find out what happens and believe me, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a book that will quickly pull you in and not let you go. A swoon worthy hero, a spunky heroine and an entertaining story, will have you rooting for this couple and reading past your bedtime. I was totally under James and Kat's spell. I thought that these two were perfect together. I loved Kat's sass and backbone of steel. James was all alpha male and honorability. I loved the protectiveness and the changes that his feelings for Kat brought about in him. Drama, twists, danger, suspense, tension, emotion, passion and romance are woven throughout the engaging story to create a wonderful read. This is my sincere, voluntary review.

This has some many things I love in a book...the smoking hot mob family casino owner James, who comes to the rescue of the feisty cocktail waitress Kat and they can't deny the assistant attraction. He happens to rescue her from the advances of the head of a rival family and though he is confused by his need to protect her, he does just that. This is packed full of family intrigue and scheming, danger from the rival family and the need to posses Kat body and soul. This is one of those books that you can't seem to put down until you realize that you are at the end! Loved it!

Kat and James’s story is absolutely amazing! It’s grabs you into the story and you’re on a wild ride. Kat works at a casino that James owns. They have instant chemistry. There’s a little bit of everything in this book. There’s the mob, suspense, twists and turns, friendship, love and spicy scenes!! I absolutely loved this book. It’s a must read!!!! I loved this book! It was different and fun! I enjoyed reading the mafia romance. I really like the twists in the story. I like that Kat didn’t let anyone walk all over her. I think her and James had great chemistry! Definitely recommend!

Vegas Virgin was my first book by Aubrey Wright and I liked it very much. The plottwist was a little predictable unfortunately. I got suspicions from 50% and was sure at 60 and I was right. But the story is super good and I loved the writing. It won't be my last book from this author.

Not a bad read. The 'issue' wasn't much of a shock, but I liked James and Kat. Lots of suspense and hot sex and a rather sturdy couch!!

I loved Katherine. James was okay, but lacked that killer instinct for a mob boss. I had high hopes for this book. The book began with a bang. It was fast paced, witty, and entertaining, but slowed down immensely as the story continued. For James to be in charge, he let Glass and Uncle Tony make demands and assumptions with no retributions. Good book, but a lot of holes with some of the characters.

Taking down the mafia and kicking some major bums along the way. This book was a great combination of love, redemption, truth, sacrifice, and some major chemistry! Kat and James have the type of chemistry that burns up the pages as you read. Kat is your down on her luck, trying to make a life for herself, hard-working waitress, small-town girl. She puts up with a lot of men treating her like she's there for their entertainment. However, if you make a grab for her or say something suggestive, she will put you in place no matter who or how powerful you are. James is your Flynn Ryder. He's living a life of crime but has the heart of gold. He falls for Kat very quickly which takes him by surprise. He hasn't felt anything this powerful before. By James trying to protect Kat and yet be loyal to his family, major issues arise. The suspense has you flipping through the pages as fast as a cheetah runs in the wildlands. I enjoyed the unknown of what was yet to come, but I didn't feel like Kat showed her true love for James. I wish she would have done a lot more for him since he was sacrificing so much for her.
This was a great read and I really hope that James' cousin gets his own book!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of James and Kat. Kat was a waitress at the casino Lux and one night while working she caught the attention of Mr. Glass, a mob boss. Kat talked back to him and James came to her rescue. James was the owner of the Lux and also a mob boss. James wanted Kat for himself and when he found her later that night, he took her to his penthouse. Kat was a virgin, but she wanted to be with James. Kat thought it would be a one night stand, but James was still interested. When Kat accidentally witnessed a murder, she ran when she was discovered and James found her. James vowed to protect her and keep her safe. When Mr. Glass wanted Kat to answer questions about what she saw, James refused, causing the families to be on the brink of war. Kat was scared for her life and James was getting in deeper in the conflict with Glass. James was also dealing with his uncle who wanted to take the family in new directions. This book was great. It had a little bit of everything. There was a lot of steamy scenes between James and Kat, there was danger and suspense. James seemed like a good guy, he really loved Kat and wanted to keep her safe. I like Kat and the fact she stood up for herself. Another great one from Aubrey.

The book is only ok for me, the beginning seems enticing and a good start but after that the story is lagging...... the main characters are not up to par for me: the H is portraying strong and alpha like but not backing up by any action, he is the head of the mafia but have no control of his environment and appear very weak ( his uncle keeps calling him “kid” and he doesn't do anything other than being mad; the glass guy keeps calling him “ jimmy “ and he doesn’t like it and only correct him). It’s so obvious who was the real bad guy but the H seems have no clues about any shits that keep happening in his world.
Even though he knew of his uncle betrayal, he only shoot him in the leg ( after the guys tried to kill him, and was going to kill the woman he loves and unborn child) for god sake shoot him in the head ! You the head of the mafia!
The h is badass but not have any common sense ( she always reacted first without thinking about consequences, she know she is in a mafia world, you can get yourself killed), she says she loves and trust the H, but at the first hurdle she leaves him.
Overall, book too long, don’t feel passion between the characters, no feeling of possessive and jalousy from the H ( when the h is described as so beautiful repeatedly).

A fantastic well written nonstop action romance. This addicting fast paced storyline had me glued page after page with intrigue, suspense, snarkiness, danger, action, spunk, bumps of ups and downs, instant attraction, and unfortunate events. I loved following this exciting sexy journey as redemption is maneuvered its way through family betrayal and envy to get loves innocence while getting free from a corrupt setting. The characters are interesting, strong, well developed with lots of sexy chemistry. I voluntarily reviewed this must read.

Oh yes, HEA is guaranteed for Kat and James, but the route taken to get there is s suspenseful, exciting, sexy and oh so romantic one. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.

Kat is working as a waitress in a casino and is very innocent when it comes to the ways of how men are in Vegas night life. So when one powerful man come on to her very strong she takes up for herself without thinking. Not knowing that the guy was a powerful crime boss and that her boss was another crime boss also. The only thing that saved her was that her boss had taken a liking to her. James is getting tired of the family business and he couldn't standby when a business associate grabbed at Kat. It wasn't long after that they both get caught of in a mess that takes them both on a journey that brings them closer together. However there is someone that doesn't want them around and is plotting against them will they figure out who before its too late?
This is an amazing story that will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Ms. Aubrey Wright has blown my mind with her talent and creativity that is demonstrated all throughout this incredible Mafia release. I try extremely hard never to give away any part of the plot so that I do not ruin it for reader's. That being said, here it goes...

Which brings her to The Lux, an upscale Vegas Casino. From the moment you start reading this superbly designed book, you will be enraptured. Meeting the owner of The Lux, James DiMarco, unexpectedly will alter both their lives in the best way possible. There is everything to love about this dramatic romance by Ms. Wright.

Complete, fulfilling and thrilling story
This was a very very good read with great story to tell, fantastic characters set in the city of sins navigating cruel and dangerous world of mobsters. Action packed, full of mystery, deception, lies and tricky twisted situations that main characters found themselves in. I loved Kat from the beginning. She's strong, stubborn and very persistent. Then comes James (Jimmy - for those who wants to know why just grab a copy :)) with his stone cold exterior and heart made of gold, and there's that instant connection with off the charts attraction fuelled by pure lust. That book has a lot of going on, action, twisted situations, danger lurking in the shadow, but there are also hot, sexy and steamy scenes, romance, seduction and full roller-coaster of emotions, including heartbreak and lots of tears. It was really worth my time and I really enjoyed the journey author took me on along with the fantastic characters and great story line she created.

This was a fantastic read from Aubrey! I've read other books that have the mafia/mob plot where they're all the bad guys, This was a great twist to see the mob boss as the good guy, while still having the bad mob plot. This book kept me turning pages (really scrolling). It's exciting and it's got lots of twists and turns about who is behind all the mayhem. Kat & James have such great chemistry. Their relationship progresses very quick but you can tell they truly love one another. James is the head of one of the most powerful crime families in Vegas. He's young, hot, and wealthy. Kat is an innocent, young woman with big dreams, a lot of drive, and empty pockets. She's a sassy and take no shit personality in a world of submissive women. James is immediately drawn to her and when she gets stuck in the wrong place at the wrong time, witnessing a crime at James's casino, he feels he has to protect her with everything he has. This is definitely another winner from Aubrey!

Another brilliant book by Aubrey Wright how she keeps writing books that are my favourite until the next one comes along I will never know she just seems to improve with every book she releases

Kat believed that her life's dream was going to come true when she moved Vegas little did she know that you needed money in order to make that happen so her life's dreams was put on hold to work at a casino as a waiters . James life was on track with what he seemed with running one of the most high mob in Vegas that is until he sets eyes on Kat. Kat and James have a lot of hard hits come their way with trying to figure out how they fill about each other and also the part of keeping each other alive for more than a month . I received this book as a arc for a honest review and I can say that these two were meant to be together even with a hot and fast mob after both of them . This book has romance , suspense and a hole lot of fast passed action that will make you want to turn the page to find out what happens next.

I enjoyed every minute of Vegas Virgin, every spine-tingling suspenseful minute, kept me on the edge of my seat, serious heat, raw off the charts chemistry, and last but not least romantic. I couldn't read fast enough, forced myself to slow down so I wouldn't miss anything. Aubrey Wright really knows how to get the reader's attention and keep it from beginning to blissful ending. This one is a must read.

This is a departure from what Aubrey Wright usually writes but it is an excellent view of how the mafia works in Vegas. No graphic violence, lots of family dynamics, well written, exciting, edge of seat suspense, and of course, over the top romance. Vegas Virgin is one book you absolutely must read.

This was an exciting and riveting book! The characters were great! James DiMarco is the leader of the DiMarco mob. He owns one of the most lavished casinos in Las Vegas, the Lux. He is gorgeous, tall, handsome, and demands respect. Katherine is a waitress that works at the Lux. She caught James's eye and they went up to the penthouse had a few drinks and had sex. James had no clue at the time she was a 24 year old virgin before they had sex. Fast forward, Kat gets herself fired for humiliating a rival VIP at the club. On her way to the parking garage she witnesses a murder. Who better to protect her than James because no one will go against him, right? Plus being with James DiMarco is not the worst thing in the world.

James and Kat were a prefect mix of sexy and killer couple as they navigated their way through the seedy underworld of Vegas mob life.
A delicate truce was in jeopardy when the top dogs come to blows over a woman they both want and bodies turning up at the wrong times, Great storyline keeps you on your toes throughout.
