Her entire world is falling apart…

Faced with losing her job and her apartment, Brooke is in crisis mode when she inadvertently stumbles into the world of BDSM. Intrigued, she learns everything she can about submission and finds she craves it.

He’s not a sadist…

Carter’s been watching the gorgeous redhead learn the ropes in his club. She won’t meet his gaze. Her secrets will probably terrify him. And her desires run in a direction that makes him uneasy.

She needs the release only a firm sadist can provide…

Her haunting past has led her to release her stress through spankings, floggings, and whippings. She is leery about Carter’s suggestion that she can get the same results from the more sensual elements of the lifestyle.

He has to let her go…

No matter how badly he would like to collar her, she must face her past head on and find herself before she can truly belong to him.

Collaring Brooke by Becca Jameson is book Three in the Club Zodiac series. This is the story of Brooke and Carter. I have read the previous books but feel this is easily a standalone book.
Brooke had been in a very abusive relationship where one of the punishments was to be whipped until she bleed.
But now she is trying to move past it but unable to do so until she starts cleaning job at a BDSM club where she happens upon Faith training.
Faith goes over the BDSM lifestyle and talks to her about trying it.
Carter happens to spot Brooke and he is immediately attracted to her but wonders how she would do with the BDSM and what she is hiding.
Really enjoyed their story!

Before she was by her bosses at the cleaning company to clean Club Zodiac (when it's not open during the day), housekeeper Brooke had no idea about BDSM, but when she sees Domme Faith practicing with a whip, she's intrigued. However, with her background of secrecy and abuse she's leery of trusting anyone, except Faith, who she's bonded with. When Faith falls for Rowen and decides to embrace her submissive side, she asks friend Carter to help out with Brooke, and just in time, since the poor woman has lost her apartment and her job all in one day, and has a lot more going on than even she knows.

Collaring Brooke in some ways follows the standard romance pattern (down-on-her-luck woman rescued by wealthy man), but in others goes in a completely different direction. While so many BDSM romance novels rely on stalkers, evil exes, and human trafficking to drive their plot lines, Jameson creates something unique, when Brooke discovers that her father is still alive, and that she has more family than she's ever dreamed about.

Praise to Becca Jameson for taking on this difficult subject. This is without a doubt my favorite book in the series.

SPOILER FREE!

If you enjoy books that tackle sensitive subjects then this one’s for you.

This was beautifully delivered and the story was none like I’ve read before. It’s always great to have friends who we trust with secrets to shed some light during difficult situations. Victims of abuse - especially the survivors - are one of the bravest people in the world. It messes with their mind, and sometimes unusual things become their normal but they still continue to live on with their life. They (the survivors) will always need someone they could lean on whether they like it or not and there will always be that someone. Lucky here, Carter is there for Brooke.

There’s even so much more beyond Brooke’s abuse. Finding herself by finding her family. It’s such a bigger story. Even though the story’s core is about Brooke getting back to her feet and less than the sexual activities we’re used to with the series, I didn’t mind. I was wholly satisfied with the book. This is a perfect end to the trilogy and I can’t express how much I loved this read.

Carter Ellis was going to bring her to her knees.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest
This is another great addition to the series!
Brooke hits rock bottom, and Carter is there to help her.
Carter had a crush on Brooke.
He can't pass the chance to hep Brooke + to get to know her better.
I think that these 2 needed to find each other.
The storytelling + the character's build were awesome!
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!

AMAZING, inspiring and titillating, this emotive romance will touch your heart but leave you smiling. Couldn't put it down!
“Collaring Brooke” is a beautifully written and compelling erotic romance that is both down-to-earth and titillating. Author Becca Jameson’s latest offering will lure a reader down a path of emotional highs and lows as its compelling story unfolds its characters deepen and develop. Add to that the ease of Jameson’s prose and readers can rest assured they are in for a treat. She uses flashbacks to develop and deepen the story and characters, in the manner of a master storyteller; she takes the reader through the experience, rather than just telling us about it. Thereby, enriching the reader’s involvement in the story’s plot. The emotional toll paid in understanding or identifying with the characters of “Collaring Brooke” is costly, but I cannot imagine any reader unwilling to pay it. In “Collaring Brooke” Jameson takes her readers through the hope and elation of first love, the ecstasy of first lust sated, and first loves initial completion and then drops them into the despair of jeopardy and hope torn. And still, this reader was compelled to turn the page to find out how this could end with an HEA. Brooke, an emotionally and physically abused child, was a woman who only felt “normal” after cathartic pain, a pain she hoped to attain from the BDSM club she cleaned. Carter falls for Brooke, but despite their explosive chemistry he knew he could not cause Brooke pain, or “give her the pain she needs”. A seemingly insurmountable chasm? Were they merely toying with a future one hoped for with all her being and the other knew he could never be. . . just saying, ‘Have your tissues near.” I was given an ARC to prepare this honest voluntary review, and I must report that if it was possible, I would give “Collaring Brooke” six stars or more. It is that good, that exceptional! A true MUST-READ for those who relish a battle between the gritty and dark with idealism and light. So, with my highest possible rating, “Collaring Brooke” is going on my favorites shelf. It does deal with some darkness and the serious issues of abuse, so if that makes the reader uncomfortable, this novel may not be for you. It also has the most thought-provoking explanation and insight into BDSM, so if you have shied away from reading books which include light BDSM, then “Collaring Brooke” is a great place to start. I STRONGLY recommend you buy your copy of “Collaring Brooke” today. Let me know if you love it, too. Happy pages! 😉

The third book in this series focuses on Carter, the third owner of Club Zodiac. He’s attracted to Brooke, a shy, introverted redhead who has been working with Faith, Rowen’s partner, on exploring the BDSM lifestyle.

Brooke is very skittish; so much so, she barely looks Carter in the eye. He’s desperate to know her better, and finally gets the chance when she hits absolute rock-bottom. With no one else to turn to, she allows Carter to help her.

She’s nervous about asking him for help; for so long she’s literally had no one in her life. He slowly coaxes her out of her hard protective shell and discovers her horrific past. She’s clicked with the BDSM lifestyle, although she identifies as a masochist. Carter’s no sadist, and tries to give Brooke the release she needs through other means.

This whole story is so well written, going into great detail about Brooke’s past. The lengths Carter goes to in order to help her heal is amazing. Ultimately, it portrays Brooke s a survivor and not a victim, which is a powerful message. It also shows how Carter is willing to compromise in order to commit fully to Brooke. A worthy 5 stars.

Just when I think Becca Jameson can't possibly make a series any hotter, she does just that.

Carter has been falling for Brooke since he first met her. He watched as Faith introduced her to the lifestyle in the hours before the club opened. He had given her the paperwork and told her to call him with any questions, but it was Faith she turned to.

Brooke's day has been a total disaster, she lost her apartment, which she knew, but losing her job came as a horrible surprise. In spite of that she decides to keep her appointment with Faith. One last release and she'll never go back to the club again.

Now that Faith has given in to her true submission with Rowan, she is doing a final scene with Brooke before turning her over to Carter for aftercare and hopefully more training.

Unfortunately Carter realized too late that all Brooke's worldly possessions are in her car and he makes a quick decision to follow her.

I love Carter so very much. He does manage to convince her to move in with him but it was a long hard struggle of wills.

Filled with plenty of surprises, this book is truly one of the most emotional, hottest and sexiest ones Becca has written. Don't miss it!

Brooke's life is about as far away from a fairy tale as you can get. During her childhood she suffered both mental and physical abuse. But, she's a survivor having found ways to cope with such trauma. But now she needs a new outlet and BDSM and the Zodiac Club may fill the bill. Carter is enamored with Brooke from the first time he sees her. He recognizes that she may have been abused but doesn't think he can answer her masochistic needs. He's a sensual Dom that feeds off of submission and obedience. Carter helps Brooke discover things about herself she never knew and stands by her as she reels from this new found knowledge. He even willingly gives her space to deal with new family relationships but he's empty without her. If he goes after her, will she return to his side willingly? Will he be able to give her what she needs?

Wow! The two characters are incredible. Such finely detailed emotions give them depth and resilience. I rooted for them both from the story's onset. Becca Jameson crafts sensually erotic storylines with rich, multilayered, likeable characters, time after time.

“Collaring Brooke” is the third book in the Club Zodiac series. This particular book even though there are aspects of BDSM, it is also sweet for how the characters feel for each other even though Brooke’s life is like a roller coaster. Becca Jameson brought such depth into this book that it brings forth such emotion. Brooke suffered abuse growing up from someone you would less expect in her life. Carter, one of the owners of Club Zodiac, was her rock throughout everything when Brooke was finding out about her family, with what happened with her mom and about her father. When she first walked into the club Carter found her absolutely gorgeous but knew something was up. When Brooke does a scene Carter was there to help with the after care. When he found out Brooke was living in her car and lost her job the day before it was his mission to prove to her that he is there for her. What was my favorite about the book is how Carter made her feel. How he took care of her. It just was an amazing read. There is a lot going on but is well worth it. I highly recommend this book and series.

I was given an advanced reader copy of this book for my honest review.

After getting a glimpse of Brooke in Obeying Rowen (Club Zodiac Book 2) we finally get to see what she is all about along with Carter the 3rd owner of Club Zodiac. Brooke is a very broken and lost in life and about to walk away from everything even after Faith had started to show her there was something that could help her feel relief from life, in steps Carter whether she likes it or not. It was great how each book showed a different perspective of the BDSM life and allowed readers of the series to see there is so much more to it than what you may think. Carter helps Brooke when she doesn't want it, but really it's not she doesn't want it its she doesn't know what it is like to have someone who actually cares and wants to help her. There is a pretty decent emotional roller-coaster as Brooke finally reveals what her life has been like and what comes after along with how Carter learns and shows her how to at peace with herself.

“Collaring Brooke” is book three of the Club Zodiac series and as well-written as the previous books and maybe a little hotter. The characters involved are sweet, loving, sexy Dom, Carter, one of the owners of Club Zodiac and stunningly attractive, shy Brooke a masochist who has just lost her apartment and her job. She returns to Club Zodiac one more time to relieve some of the pressures she is under. Carter who is not a sadist is attracted to Brooke but feels he won't be able to give her what she needs. When Carter realizes that Brooke is homeless he tries to convince her to come stay with him. Can the independent Brooke accept help and learn to trust? Becca does an amazing job delving into the world of BDSM. “Collaring Brooke” a beautiful sensual journey that shouldn't be missed. A definite must read!

Brooke was lost, after suffering for so long she believed that she didn't deserve anything. She hardly ate anything so she could hide her body and no man would bother her plus didn't really have the money. When she meet Faith while cleaning the Zodiac club, Brooke found away to release some tension. Carter couldn't help but notice the little red headed woman Faith was helping find her way in their world. It was easy to see that at some point that Brooke had suffered some abuse in the past so he had to tread carefully as he was attacked to her. This story has a hard subject that can be upsetting, but the way her characters show there is another way to release the tension is touching and heartfelt rounding off the whole romance story in a way that will bring a tear to your eyes.

Sweet, gentle but broken Brooke meets Connor, the third Dom and owner of Club Zodiac.
Brooke is such a great character; she's been through so much in her past, abused, and taught to mistrust men at all times. When she stumbles across Faith practices with her whip at the club, she's horrified yet intrigued. Carter, part owner and Dom, finds Brooke to be shy, innocent and stunning, yet knows she's got big secrets and fears, and he wants to be the one to help her break through. Becca Jameson does an amazing job with sensitive matters, and really opens the BDSM world up for readers to gain a deeper understanding of clear consent, pleasure, and cathartic release. I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for an honest review.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this book. Brooke was such a fantastic character to read about and I enjoyed every page. This story is BDSM and Brook is a masochist. This seems to be a result to abuse and was handled in such a caring way by Carter who was a wonderful character who was not a sadist. I really felt for Brooke and what she went through and enjoyed how caring Carter was with her. The author does a wonderful job with this subject and is more knowledgeable than most authors who write about BDSM. The characters are all likeable and with problems and situations to overcome. This entire series is fantastic! I am voluntarily reviewing an arc I received

Working for the cleaning company that works for Club Zodiac, Brooke meets some of the people of Club Zodiac and becomes intrigued with BDSM. Brooke has a history of being abused, beaten and humiliated. When losing her job and losing her home, she feels she needs to feel the lash of the whip to forget all her problems. Carter wants to take care of submissive Brooke, but he is not a sadistic Dom. The story describes how Brooke gradually starts trusting Carter, and how Carter tries to help her turn in new directions for release and escape.
The personality and behavior of Brooke did not always feel natural, but overall it was a nice romance.

Sometimes when I got to the final book in a trilogy I'm just kind of relieved to be finishing. It's like the author has used up all the good ideas in the previous 2 books & is now just filling in the padding. But this trilogy finishes on a high because this is my favourite of the 3! I loved it. We were first introduced to Brooke in book 2 (Obeying Rowan) but she deserves her own story. My heart was fully engaged with this story from the start & I shed a tear a time or two for Brooke. But Carter was perfect & just what she needed.

Becca Jameson is amazing. Everything she writes is smoking hot. Carter is a very sensual Domme. Sadism doesn't do it for him, but Brooke has a psychological need for pain. It's clear that they are meant for each other, except for that small detail. Great story and great series! Even though all the main characters have had their HEA's, I hope that some of the sub characters get a story or two and we can keep up with the three main characters vicariously later.

What an amazing book! 😍

This book is so very good! Brooke's life has not been easy or good in any way, shape or form... that is until she meets Carter. Carter is one of the owners and Doms of Club Zodiac, a BMSD club, and he has been looking for the one missing from his life. The heat, passion, and emotions between them are amazing and will just suck you in. 💖💞💖

Brooke has been abused her whole life. Now she's homeless and all alone. Carter has been watching Brooke at the club for some time. He has seen her evolve a little under Faiths domination. They come together under unusual circumstances. Can Cater convince her, to let him help her any way he can, to include her total submission? Is Brooke ready to face her past so that she can move on? For Brooke, there's a fine line between abuse and pain from BDSM.

Brooke is a a low point in her life. She was in an abusive relationship. She takes a cleaning job at the club and sees Faith during training. She begins to learn about BDSM. Carter has a crush on Brooke but can he show her she can get what she needs with the more sensual side rather than the brutal whippings and spankings? This was a good story and wonderful addition to the series.

Brooke has been beaten and broken for all of her life. She's curious but very hesitant to do anything. Carter sees Brooke and can't help but want her. She makes him rethink what he thinks he wants and needs. I loved watching Carter and Brooke navigate their world. Amazingly good read, my favourite of the series without a doubt!

I have read many of Becca Jameson's books but I think Collaring Brooke was one of her best. Very empathic of the problems affecting Brooke and the caring nature of Carter makes for page turning to the very end!
I recommend it to all who like BDSM with their fiction, although in this case it is not over the top!!

Well written about one woman's journey from being abused to finding love.

Brooke is broken or at least she insists she is but Carter won't let her think that way for long. They come together in an unusual way and Carter has to have the patience of a saint.

The one thing about this series is that it is remarkably consistent, in that the next one is always as good as the last. They’re great easy reads that tackle sensitive issues and definitely get me out of my head for a bit. Looking forward to the next one.
