Her innocence gives him pause... Her baggage is a red flag...
Hope can't marry a man who doesn't love her. She won't. It would be better to flee the church and jump into the first car that pulls up out front.
Aaron is late for the wedding, but why in the hell is the bride running toward his car, fluffy tulle in her hands, and why does she jump inside and tell him to drive?
Aaron hardly knows the bride, but it doesn't take long to realize two she's running from her problems, and she's far too innocent for a man like him.
This runaway bride is on a mission, however. Lose her virginity and learn everything she can about submission. If Aaron won't help her, Hope will find someone who will.
Becca Jameson is a USA Today bestselling author of over 100 books. She is most well-known for her Wolf Masters series and her Fight Club series. She currently lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband and Goldendoodle. Two grown kids pop in every once in a while too! She is loving this journey and has dabbled in a variety of genres, including paranormal, sports romance, military, and BDSM.
A total night owl, Becca writes late at night, sequestering herself in her office with a glass of red wine and a bar of dark chocolate, her fingers flying across the keyboard as her characters weave their own stories.
During the day--which never starts before ten in the morning!--she can be found jogging, running errands, or reading in her favorite hammock chair!
This takes the runaway bride trope to a whole new sexy level! Hope runs away from her wedding into the first car she sees, which happens to be Aaron’s, who is running late to the wedding. Hope convinces Aaron to take a road trip so she can escape her messed up family (except for her sister Faith) who is pushing her into a marriage for money and status, not for love. This is somewhat tame BDSM, but still very sexy. I love these two together even when Aaron is being a jerk. Can’t wait for Claiming London! She definitely deserves an HEA.
The runaway bride and road-trip romance are staples of the genre, and Jameson combines those with BDSM exploration in an interesting way in Trusting Aaron. Our runaway bride Hope has been pressured by her mother to marry for status and prestige, but she’s not sure she trusts her fiancé Montgomery as he’s shown basically no interest in her physically. Finding him in a questionable situation with someone else the night before their wedding makes her second-guess her marriage. Luckily, she meets Aaron, a friend of her brother-in-law, outside the church. And off they head in his chariot, er, car to somewhere far, far away from Miami and the coercive situation of Hope’s impending wedding.
Since Aaron is co-manager of a BDSM club that’s about to open in Denver, Hope convinces him to take her back there with him. Their road trip has Aaron, who doesn’t want to impose on Hope, trying to resist her interest. Hope is the classic virgin who wants to be anything but that, and being with Aaron makes her realize how barren her previous relationship was. Aaron is the BDSM club Dom who really doesn’t want to hurt a virgin, even if said virgin wants to explore dominance and submission. So the battle lines are drawn, and seeing the push and pull of Hope and Aaron’s relationship on their cross-country road trip is quite fun.
I liked that Hope was more aggressive about establishing a relationship than Aaron. Jameson also did a good job matching Hope’s curious virgin with a more straightforward version of BDSM. Aaron is not a dramatically dark Dom, and his more casual attitude balanced Hope very well. I also love the thoughtful instruction Aaron gave to Hope, and watching him slowly slide into love was truly enjoyable.
There were a few gaps in logic here. Aaron insists that Hope has to go back, right away, to address her situation with Montgomery and her mother. I didn’t see how this would be positive for Hope at all, particularly when she’s still figuring out her feelings. Aaron pushing this so strongly seemed to serve the plot more than it did the characters, and it frankly made me question Aaron’s sensibilities. And Jameson gives us the romance stereotype in Hope of a BDSM newbie who takes to every single new thing with aplomb. I would have preferred to see Hope struggle with some aspects of the lifestyle as both she and Aaron learned to adjust to one another.
But this is a fun play on a road romance. Jameson’s Club Zodiac series has been an excellent one to read, and this is a good addition to that connected story, as well as one that establishes a new town and new club to add further books to in future.
I loved this read! Hope decides at the last moment to be a runaway bride and she jumps in the car with someone she sort of knows. Aaron is there for her wedding and to check on the local chapter of the BDSM club that he and his friends own. Well, let's just say Hope and Aaron make different plans and head to the other side of the country. This was a really good book with romance, a lighter side of kink, and yes more romance.
Awesome ROMANCE with a light BDSM touch and a whole lotta’ love! An awesome MUST-READ! “TRUSTING AARON,” Becca Jameson most recent novel and the fifth novel in her CLUB ZODIAC series, has to be my most favored in this series and a novel I plan to purchase and put in the FAVORITES collection on my Kindle. I want to be able to read it again and again. Jameson’s usual eloquence and descriptive prose, along with compelling characters and a complex plot are all present in this novel, but it is the humor and the growth of both of her main characters that made “TRUSTING AARON” one of my all-time favorite romances. The main characters, Hope and Aaron, find themselves in the craziest circumstances, while trying to both avoid and feed the combustible chemistry between them. I really enjoyed the witty repartee, the part that their humor and sense of adventure brought to what was a tenuous situation, and STEAM when they finally explore that explosive chemistry between them. In addition to the titillating BDSM scenes, there is a wonderful story which recognizes both the need for trust in any relationship and the extenuating harm that emotional abuse can have on those involved. Three cheers for Jameson’s creative lessons on a subject of serious consequence within a remarkably entertaining, titillating and fun story. I voluntarily read an advanced copy of “TRUSTING AARON” and this is my voluntary and HONEST review. “TRUSTING AARON” has earned a 5+STAR recommendation and a STRONG suggestion that you purchase your copy today! Happy pages! 😉
Hope came flying out of the church running toward Aaron’s car opening the passenger door and jumped inside slamming the door, Aaron just looked at Hope. Hope said DRIVE!, turn here...two blocks turn again. Aaron was late getting to the wedding and was looking for a place to park when Hope just jumped in his car. Aaron is a dom and does not like to take orders from a woman. But this is Faith’s sister, Hope. Faith is married to Rowen who is part owner of Club Zodiac a BDSM club, and who is his friend/employer. Aaron and Colin are opening a new Club Zodiac in Denver in a few weeks. After Aaron takes Hope to her hotel to get her stuff he tells Hope he wants a full explanation of what is going on. Hope explains and begs Aaron to take her to Denver with him before her mother or the man she left standing at the alter comes after her, she needs time to think. Hope tells Aaron she tried to seduce Montgomery last night and he would not even touch or kiss her. Hope tells Aaron she is a virgin and she wants Aaron to take her virginity. Aaron is in so much trouble because he knows she’s vulnerable and she’s coming unto him, can he keep his distance? This is the VERY BASIC beginning of the story which I throughly enjoyed. Suspenseful Romantic, wonderfully written characters, a real page turner.....I could not put this down. I was given this arc and I voluntarily leave this review.
From the very beginning of “Trusting Aaron,” the fifth book of Club Zodiac I was drawn in. Aaron’s day didn’t start off right, he was late for the wedding. When he arrived to the church the bride ran out of the church and into his vehicle. Hope was running out on Montgomery Ainsley, a wedding of convenience for Finacial reasons. During this time Aaron was not a fan for Hope was being bossy when he’s not used to it. From there I was hooked. This was such a hot, funny, romantic read. Reading how Hope was trying to get Aaron to have sex with her was really entertaining for he fought even though he was just as attractive to her. I also felt for Hope with what happened between her and Montgomery. She followed Faiths advice about having sex with him before they get married. Hope tried to seduce him but it did not work out and when she was leaving his room a woman was waiting in the hallway. This was such a fun read. After reading this book I definitely recommend this book.
I was given an advanced reader copy of this book for my honest review.
After starting with a fantastic & unexpected splash, I almost stopped reading. The first part of the story centres around Hope, who has just decided she can't go through with her wedding & jumps in Aaron's car for a quick getaway. Now, they do know each other, but not well, and when they get to spending time in the car together discover a huge amount of chemistry. Aaron resists being intimate with Hope, while Hope tries to convince him otherwise. My problem is that it felt very much like Hope was pressuring him for sex & that put me off. I don't like or agree with it when men try & pressure women, & I'm not going to like it when women pressure men. Anyone should be able to refuse sex without such pressure that Hope was putting on Aaron. Once I got over that (ie, when Hope got her way), the story was actually pretty good & I loved the vulnerability Aaron displays at the end. It's really a 3 1/2 * for me because of my earlier thoughts.
Hope Davenport has decided to flee her wedding much to the dismay of her mother. This book opens as she jumps into Aaron's car and tells him to drive, surprising the living daylights out of him.
Aaron was late arriving to this wedding thanks to airlines and traffic, more than once he wonders what would have happened if it hadn't been him in that car.
It's not just getting Hope away from the church though, she's gotten it through her head for Aaron to drive her to Denver and show her other things as well.
I kind of felt sorry for Aaron, he was really caught in a conundrum. She is Rowen's sister-in-law and vanilla to boot. The question becomes, can he show her and let her go.
This was a fun book, the conversations between them were priceless. The interactions kindle melting and the revelations perfect.
I enjoyed this book. With a runaway bride jumping in the first vehicle she sees... what can happen? Well for starters Hope is relieved that she jumped into the vehicle of someone she knows. Next, can she get him to take her away...in more ways than one. Hope leaves her fiance standing at the alter because they really do not love each other, it is a marriage for power. Hope wants more. She wants to know what BDSM is like. Oh the kicker? She is a virgin. Like I said, what can happen. I loved the way these two fall and fall hard. Ok, I wanted to slap Aaron for being a stubborn a$$ but all works out in the end. Hope grows and has to find herself. Aaron needs to learn to open and discover what and who he really wants.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Heading for a wedding as a guest but leaving with a runaway bride does not happen except in the movies. Except it did happen to Aaron and now he's driving said bride across country. Aaron is sexy and one tough Dom who's always thought himself impervious to manipulations. He didn't figure in a seeming innocent like Hope. When Aaron looks at Hope all he sees is a spoiled albeit sexy brat. However this cross country drive has him changing his tune. This irresistible woman is submissive to her core and persuasive as all get out. I liked reading Hope's evolution from family "good girl" doormat to a woman who finally takes charge of her life, asks for what she wants and may even learn how to kick butt and take names.
Aaron was looking forward to some time off and spending it with friends. He wasn't counting on being the getaway driver for a runaway bride. But that's what he ends up being when Hope finally reaches her limit and realizes what a mistake it would be to marry Montgomery just because her parents want her to. Now Hope just needs to learn who she is when she isn't being the perfect daughter and what she wants from life. Well, other than wanting Aaron to be her first and for him to teach about the Dom/sub lifestyle... 💗🔥💕
This book deals with the BDSM lifestyle and it's many, many variations so if that's not for you, don't read this book. 😉💖
I received a free copy of this book via the Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Trusting Aaron is the 5th book in the sizzling Club Zodiac series for Becca Jameson and the hits just keep on coming. I have loved each and every one of the books in this series. The robustness of the characters, the wonderful writing style, the humor and of course the steamy scenes all coalesce for great reading. But I think I will have to say this book has been my favorite out of the series.
I think I'm going to end my review there. Cause I don't want to spoil anything. I will add that there is so much more to this book though than just what I wrote above. SO MUCH MORE! I want to tell you....I REALLY DO.
But I won't. I will give you one small piece of advice though. Pick up this book. TODAY. One-click it. JUST....
Trusting Aaron by Becca Jameson is book 5 in the Club Zodiac Series. This is the story of Aaron and Hope. This can be a standalone book but Aaron has been in a few of the other books. Hope has been controlled most of her life and now she is being lead into a marriage where that control of her life will continues. On the day of her wedding she decided to take back her life and control and runs out of the wedding into a late guest's car. Aaron was running late to the wedding and is surprised when Hope jumps into his car. This was a great hot read....loved it.
I loved the interactions and snappy dialogue between spoiled, naive, rich girl Hope Davenport and strict Dom, Aaron. Their relationship is intense and complex, yet their individual fears keep the story moving and interesting until the very end. He's set in his ways, and she's like a kid in a candy store, new to freedom and desires. The juxtaposition of their lifestyles and upbringings make for a sharp and interesting journey between two people who should never have been attracted or interested in the other.
Most see Hope as a spoiled rich girl, but she is so much more. She decides that she doesn’t want to enter into a loveless marriage and flees the church, vowing to hop in the first car passing by. Aaron is running late for the wedding and is looking for a parking spot when Hope jumps in his car. Becca Jameson has done it again with this fifth book in her Club Zodiac series. It is an intricate plot that weaves and twists and shows the growth of both characters. Their personalities compliment each other and the humor exhibited by both makes this a fun, enjoyable read.
Another great story from Becca! I loved Hope and Aaron and the chemistry. This story follows the Zodiac club which deals with Doms and Subs. Becca does a great job with this subject while giving a good story with a plot and characters I love. Lots of steam in this wonderful story as Hope finally finds herself. Each story in this series has been great and I look forward to the next book. Loved it!!
I really enjoyed this read but feel I wanted a bit more out of Hope and Aaron, I understand Hope is finding her true self but I expected there to be more hesitation or something with Aaron introducing her to BDSM cause you know she is going from a virgin to all in. They have great chemistry but are hopeless at actually listening to each other but you want them to realise how good they are together before its too late and Aaron pushes her away one to many times!
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! It was a great book ! Aaron is late to attend a friend's wedding. He gets the shock of his life, when the bride decided to escape the wedding in his car. ( With Aaron still inside the car ) Loved the characters + the storytelling ! It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book! I can't wait for the next book in this series.
Spoiler free this was a fun exciting read great chemistry with awesome characters I’ve enjoyed this series and with each one I think he’s my favourite character and then another book comes out I definitely look forward to more books from this author. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
It was great watching Aaron teaching Hope about vanilla sex and exploring BDSM sex. It was an education in the fine art of leading a newbie. Great read.
A Sexy , Steamy , Sensational story . I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Trusting Aaron . This is a fantastic BDSM romance . It's definitely a cold shower worthy story . Hope is the runaway bride Aaron's the late guest she jumps in his car and demands him to drive . Hope has had her life controlled by her mother and would have by her groom had she married him . She decides she's not gonna be controlled any longer . Attraction between her and Aaron takes off and a deal is made . She gets a sample of BDSM and then she will go back and clean up her life and start living her own life . But of course feelings get involved ! I really enjoyed this story . The characters are great . I highly recommend taking the time to read this story .
Hope is about to marry but the feeling in her gut is that this will be the biggest mistake she could ever make but only realises it as she is walking down the aisle. Turning she runs out the church and gets into the first car she see's. Aaron is late for his friends wedding and as he arrives the bride is running to his car. Getting she tells him to just drive and even though he doesn't usually take orders but gives them he does as he is told. I loved this book with its touching realisations and fun parts with a little heat thrown in to add spice to the romance with BDSM it's and all round winner, can't wait to read the next book in the series.
