I have just finished September Shadows. This novel had me hooked in from the start. Full of intrigue, twists and turns that keeps you guessing with some romance in the air. Where to next!! You are a very talented writer Denise

September Shadows is well written, flows into unexpected suspense, and keeps enthralling.
I loved September Shadows. Starting from page 1, this book has everything a reader wants with regard to romance, mystery and suspense. As the story weaves in and out, my emotions were constantly stirred with anticipation. Keeping me in touch with the protagonists and other characters. Surprising me with events that occurred for and to them. Trying to find the killer at last becomes an intense need.
From start to finish this book will keep you in one place! Looking forward to Book 3 Denise Fitzpatrick!

Another engrossing read from Denise Fitzpatrick.
Denise has the ability to blend romance, friendships, mystery and suspense all rolled up in her writings. September Shadows is another excellent example of this quality writing. Another very enjoyable read.

Loved this new book. More of a thriller with a little bit of romance thrown in. Looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Tracey's journey to fulfilment continues in September Shadows, book 2 of the September Series by author Denise Fizpatrick... this time set in her hometown in New Zealand. I found it gripping, well-written and suspensful. If you enjoy a 'whodunnit' sprinkled with romance, you'll find this an immensely satisfying read.

I was reading Colleen Perrett's review of this book and thinking how much I agreed with it. Denise's first book 'September Promise' was almost all Romance; it introduced us to her character, Tracey - a young New Zealand woman with tragedy behind her. It also provided us with a wonderful travelogue of some of the USA's most 'must-see' states. With this new book, Denise continue's Tracey's affairs of the heart, but turns her pen successfully to crime, mystery and suspense. We learn from the cover that the two books are now to be part of a series and I think that both Denise and her readers are on to a good thing.

Having read and enjoyed Denise’s first book “September Promise” I was eagerly anticipating her second book “September Shadows”. Right from the ‘get-go’ I was drawn into the story as life was not going to be plain-sailing for Tracey – sometimes quite terrifying actually! Mystery, suspense and romance kept me absorbed in this very well written, easy to read book. Looking forward to your next book, Denise. Wonder what that will reveal!

The intrigue builds as the story unfolds. This carefully crafted plot will keep you guessing throughout. Tracey searches for support from those around her while never quite sure who she can trust. The danger intensifies as her emotions are stretched to the limit. With a murderer in the neighbourhood any wrong decision could be fatal. An excellent read.

It normally takes me a while to read a book because I don't have much time available. Somehow I managed to find it for September Shadows though because it was so hard to put down! Loved the mystery, it definitely kept me hooked! Looking forward to Denise Fitzpatrick's next book.
