This book is a great resource and introduction to The West in film. Covering up until the 1960’s, the majority of this book focuses on the early 20th century to about 1950. While it’s not all encompassing, this is a great jumping off point for the curious. The reason it gets 4 not 5 stars is that it’s dated and not a book I’ll ever read again from cover to cover.
