Caz May

A writer of loveable Aussie heroes. Queen of Angst and Drama

Caz May is a librarian/teacher by trade but was always destined to be an author from a young age. In her spare time, she can be found devouring books or writing her own stories with characters that may not be the typical romance heroes but are loveable just as much.
Caz is married to her own real-life bearded hero and has two fur babies.
She lives for Iced coffee, especially from Gloria Jeans or a Farmers Union but pretty much just loves food in general.
When she’s not writing or reading a book most likely she can probably be found asleep or binge-watching shows on Netflix.

A quick, cute read that will leave you wanting to know more about Luca and Kai’s history.
They made a great couple. Their shared past coming into their present. Their back and forth was intriguing and I would like to get to know them more.
I did not like Baxter. His behaviour was unnerving so I can’t say I’m sorry about how his journey ended!
4 stars for a Christmassy romance.

I am not a big romance fan it's not my genre but this book! Wow I'm speechless.

I got hooked since page one I wanted to know more and more... I love the way the author write the way she plays off the story like I love how she turns a Christmas story into this romance into this love story how this two people who loves eachother so much bumps into each other after years and finally admit what they feel for each other oh and I can't forget my favorite character Eddie he's a sweetheart with such a bubbly personality!

I am so glad I had the opportunity to read this amazing book!

I loved this short and sweet Christmas novella !
I was uncertain on Baxter and at one instance I actually thought I liked him but reading on it was clear that I didn’t. I loved Luca and Kaiyas back and forth in the airport, it was so sweet how they both had feelings for each other years ago but neither of them were brave enough to admit.

I enjoyed this fast paced story. Can’t wait for more of Caz’s books x

This is my first book by Caz May. I picked it because it was a short read, and also took place at Christmas time. I love Christmas time and any chance I can read Christmas stories I will take it.
Kaiya is an innocent girl who has big dreams and a secret crush. She has a best friend who is her solid sounding board for advice. You also get the feeling that Kaiya just wants to make her parents proud. She doesn't want to disappoint them, even in the love department. On her journey home, lies become too much, and dreams seem too good to be true.
Luca is a man who knows what he wants. He wants a family and to be loved for himself and not his name. A chance encounter has him crashing into a blast from the past. Someone he never saw coming but couldn't live without, Kaiya.
Eddie and Markos add humor into the mix. I like how they both helped Kaiya and Luca on their journey to their HEA. St. Nick even makes an appearance which just adds to the holiday charm. Baxter is a wild card. At first, I wanted to throat punch him. Then, I was like okay, is the author throwing me for a loop. Finally, I was like did she go there... yes, yes she did. I wasn't sure what to make of him and karma came along in the end.
There were some moments in this story that I felt could be more fluid and transition in a more smooth manner. As a reader parts seemed choppy at times, especially in the cat and mouse game in the airport. There were also some typos that took me a bit to determine when someone was talking or not. I also wondered what the key was behind them saying Nato. Might not have been big but felt like an insider family secret, that as a reader I would have loved to know how it came about.
That said, it really was a cute quick romance story. I laughed, and got angry, and also swooned. If you like Christmas short stories, then check out Caz's Take Flight. I think you will enjoy it. I will be checking out some other reads by Caz, and am excited to see what else she has written. Overall 4 twirling pointe shoes from this reader.

Another amazing read by my favourite author. Im a sucker for a good love story and this book doesn't disappoint. There's twists that were unexpected and turns that I loved. Kept me guessing about who her true love was, and cant go past the gay best friend, his character was the cherry on top. Loved it 🥰

A sweet but steamy Christmas novella. It was a cute story with a hint of drama. I wasn’t sure during the first chapter when Baxter made his appearance. He’s not a likable character and really doesn’t grow either. But Kaiya and Luca’s cat and mouse game is cute and hot!! 🔥

Oh my goodness this was ridiculously sweet and cute. I adore my mushy Hallmark holiday movies and this was very reminiscent of those, just with a lot more heat. It’s so different from Caz’s other books but just as entertaining.

Kaiya is so sweet and innocent, she was adorable. Luca is a sweetheart under his stuck up facade. The sparks fly between these two.

Perfect read for anyone who wants some Christmas magic with a dose of steam.

Short, sweet and steamy, Take Flight by Caz May is a charismatic read.

Kaiya Palmieri is as sweet as they get. So when she gets a call home for Christmas, she finally plucks the courage to divulge the secret she's been harboring for the past year. Until she chickens out; in an attempt to set things straight she only digs herself deeper.
Instead of making it home, fate intervenes and leaves her stranded in a small country airport - now carrying a heavy heart. Will she make it home before Christmas or will Kaiya find another reason to stay stranded?

I absolutely loved this short read, so much that I devoured it.
If your wanting fast passed, passion and a real feel good read then this is for you.
I highly recommend for all that love a good swoon.

Did someone say Xmas?!?!?! OH MY GOSH!! Step aside Hallmark, Caz is here!
I absolutely LOVED this book! I am such a Hallmark nut. I love happily ever afters. I love Christmas and I love romance! Caz added all of that and more in this book. I received an ARC, so sorry guys you would have to wait until 3 Dec to read this, but trust me, it is SO worth the wait.
Ps: Luca = Girl Crush.
Thank you for writing this story! You nailed it!

Take Flight is a super sweet, romantic, hot, MUST READ CHRISTMAS STORY!! I really loved it because it goes to show that everything happens for a reason and fate has a plan for us all. It also shows that every family is made up of the same kinds of people. The lovely Christmas atmosphere was very festive and the saucy chapters were hot!
