wow, einfach nur WOW.
Ich bin schon bei Cry Baby Cry und Run Baby Run vor Emotionen fast gestorben und dieses Buch hat es noch getoppt.
Es ist einfach hammermässig, ich hab mitgeweint, mitgelitten, mitgelacht, mitgetrauert, war überrascht, enttäuscht. Ich hab bis 3 Uhr in der Früh gelesen und es nicht bereut.
In diesem Buch weiß man nicht wer mehr Dunkelheit in sich trägt. Ob Mason und Emilia sich am Ende doch kriegen oder sich vor lauter Verzweiflung gegenseitig umbringen?
Dieses Buch ist wie das Leben, es gibt nicht nur gut und böse, in jedem von uns steckt eine böse Seite und wenn die herauskommt, ist meistens nichts mehr gut.
Wer Don Both und Maria O'Hara kennt, weiß vorauf er sich einlässt.
Es ist eine Geschichte die viel mit Psychospielchen arbeitet und nichts für schwache Nerven.

Oh my God, what the hell was that? I don’t even have words to describe what I felt reading these books! Seriously, what the fuck was this?
Dude, I honestly don’t know how to rate this book because, on one hand, I loved this mess, but on the other, I was completely blown away by how awful (like, truly rotten and trashy) the characters are. No one is redeemable.
First off, the writing style of these authors is unlike anything I’ve ever read. It’s like you’re the characters on the scene, living through everything with them. It’s insane how much you can feel the emotions, the scenes, and the plot unfolding with this style! I’ve never experienced anything like it.
Now, let’s talk about the characters: no one is worth a damn! Everyone in this story is terrible, manipulative, and a liar. The Rush family lives in a web of lies and betrayals—it’s wild! Take Mason, for example. He’s the son of Keaton and Olivia (there’s a book about them too), and he took all of Keaton’s cruelty and psychopathy and cranked it up to 300% worse. Mason is bad because he wants to be bad. He’s petty, treacherous, immature, careless, selfish, detestable, and everything else that’s wrong. And look, the authors make it clear from the introduction: that was their intention. He’s not your typical bad boy from dark romances. Mason doesn’t change for Emilia, doesn’t make the slightest effort to be good for her. He just is what he is.
And Emilia? Damn, what a bitch, huh? Haha! She’s no better. She learned that everything can be solved with sex after being abused by the one person she should’ve been able to trust: her own father. It’s undeniable that she suffered, and she tries (even if just a little) to be better with Riley. But when Mason comes into the picture, the bitch inside her comes roaring back. Yeah, Emilia was petty, selfish, and cruel to Riley, who didn’t deserve any of what she did to him. Even though Mason manipulated her, she could’ve walked away from that toxic mess, but she didn’t want to. Together, they’re a disaster: betrayal, abuse, and pain. They’re toxic, assholes, and a walking tragedy for everyone around them.
And the family? Keaton and Olivia, the parents, always enabling Mason and excusing all his bullshit, while Riley, the brother, gets betrayed by both his family and his fiancée. Honestly, the only one I felt sorry for at first was Riley, but even he lost his way as the story unfolded and ended up learning to be just as bad.
I’ll admit, these books took me out of my comfort zone. I stumbled into them blindly because I hate books with cheating, and I had no idea the plot would revolve around so much betrayal and manipulation. But, dude, I liked it. Actually, I loved it! The authors didn’t pull any punches: they wanted to show that these characters are truly awful, and how toxic and abusive their relationships really are.
These books have every trigger warning imaginable, and the authors don’t hold back. As they say in the introduction: if you’re expecting a typical “bad boy” from dark romances? Nah, you won’t find that here. If you’re expecting a hero who changes for the heroine? Nah, you won’t find that here either. If you’re expecting love and romance? Definitely not here. All the characters in these books are awful, trashy, and treacherous!
But here’s the thing: IT’S TOTALLY WORTH READING! Just go in with an open mind, knowing it won’t be cute, it won’t be easy, and you’ll question how far your own morals will let you keep reading this madness.

Another absolutely breathtaking part in Mason and Emilia’s story. This was the final book in this trilogy and it was the perfect conclusion! This is the kind of book that makes you love and hate a set of characters at the same time. As the two previous books, this was also full of drama and toxicity and full of hot scenes which will blow your mind away. The characters are so fucked up but I love them so freaking much.
I’ve mentioned it in my previous reviews for book one and two, these two authors did such an amazing job with the writing style because it’s so special and unique. This is told in the perspective of the characters referring to each other on everything they do; which feels like they’re actually talking to me. This was an amazing end of the story and I had so much fun getting to know everyone in this world. There are also some highly triggering subjects talked about in the story so make sure to check those before you decide to read it. This is definitely not a book for everyone!!
Highly recommend this to dark romance lovers, this is perfect in every way!

aber der Sprachstil machts.Er lässt den Leser direkt teilhaben an sämtlichen Gefühlen, und durch die Du-Perspektive ist das Ganze noch -abgefuckter-. Wie Mason so schön zu sagen pflegt.

Wow. Auch der dritte Teil hat es in sich. Wie viel kann ein Mensch ertragen. Diese Frage stellt man sich nach diesem Teil. Mason und Emilia haben wirklich wieder viel durch gemacht. Ich habe wirklich alle möglichen Emotionen beim Lesen gefühlt. Meine Gefühle sind Achterbahn gefahren. Ich liebe das Buch. Das Buch hat wirklich alles was man sich wünscht. Die Charaktere sind einfach unglaublich. Jeder einzelne Charakter ist einmalig. Auch Keaton und Olivia sind wieder dabei. Ich liebe die beiden. Es toll, dass man die beiden in den Teilen wieder getroffen hat. Die unterschiedliche Perspektiven haben mir super gefallen, da man sich so super in die Charaktere hineinversetzen kann. Das Cover ist mega. Ich liebe es. Der Schreibstil der Autorinnen ist absolut fesselnd und mitreißend. Vielen Dank für die unglaublichen Lesestunden. Ich liebe das Ende. Ich konnte das Buch nicht aus der Hand legen. Ich kann das Buch bzw. die komplette Reihe nur weiterempfehlen. ❤️❤️❤️

I am obsessed with this, it is toxic and even repetitive but I love it. It is exactly what I wanted when I searched for toxic on and off again relationship and this came up on a Reddit thread, God bless the internet.
It was a little repetitive and I wanted more of them happy and together, even if they are still toxic but we only got that very briefly. I felt a lot for Emilia and really wanted her to engage in good therapy and wish she had more people in her corner.
I am sad I want more Emilia and Mason. The push and pull and Riley of it all just pissed me off. I think there is a series about their kids, but that seems even more depraved and I am not sure I will vibe it. But I do love Emilia and Mason and would love to see them as parents and married.

Perfect conclusion for this brilliant dark romance.
Full of drama, tears, pain, emotions, passionate and possessive breathtakingly toxic love between the two most messed up characters ever in the romance world. They're so twisted and fucked up and toxic for each other that makes them perfect for each other.
There's not a thing I didn't love about Mason and Emilia's story. It's a love of the worst kind but also an unforgettable all-consuming love story. It's full of triggers and it's not a story anyone can handle.
But if you love dark romance and don't mind your boundaries pushed, this is it. This is it guys.

The perfect perfect chaos
Character development.
This whole series is a journey but this book takes the characters in whole grind before spitting out the best version they can be and no it's not perfect but life rarely is.
This book is so dark and yet we can see how non linear growth of character and healing from trauma is, we don't magically just become better, we take the experience and try hard to not repeat it.
This book had everything in spades, angst, emotions, betrayal and love so volatile and destructive, it kills before it makes you live high on life.

Again these writers knocked it out of the ballpark. Stay Baby Stay is brilliant. It is emotional, angsty, firey, and fierce. Emilia may be emotionally damaged, but she is emotionally stronger than she looks. Her connection with Mason and Riley is like two sides of a coin.

Flipping FANTASTIC!
This series just keeps getting better and demands every bit of my attention needing to keep the twisted intense emotional pages turning. It's hot, angsty, fierce and Incredibly heartfelt with dark shocking twists and turns, riveting drama that engulfs my soul but gives me an amazing ending that makes my love hate relationship with this incredible series worth every word.

I didnt like this book as much as the others. I expected more from Emilia, not for her to be a shallow human being who behaves as a victim and has suicidal thoughts. Her character and her actions ruined this book for me

Mason and Emilia's turbulent dark and twisting story continues in book of the couples story. you never truly know what is in the mind of another but these two are like peas in a pod but are totally opposites as well. The story captivates you from the get go and holds your attention through the twisting and turning, desires, shocks, humor, hot scenes and more! these two authors have got the balance of dark, alluring, romance just right. the themes discussed may not be for everyone but if you love dark romances this is a must read!

This is the final installment in this trilogy and also my favorite one.
This book is so addictive, I finished it in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down. I love Mason's and Emilia's story, they went through a lot, and when I say a lot, I mean A LOT. The plot is so fierce, hot and emotional. One of the things that I absolutely loved about the book is the writing style, the book is written in both Mason's and Emilia's view, they refer to each other in the whole book and I love that so much!
The authors did a wonderful job with these books and they will always have a special place in my heart.

"Stay Baby Stay", genau das dachte ich mir auch, als ich den dritten Teil zuende gelesen hatte. Das kann doch jetzt nicht vorbei sein. Und das obwohl es eine abgeschlossene Reihe ist.
Ich bin einfach immer noch nur überwältigt von dieser Reihe! Ich könnte innerlich platzen und weiß immer noch nicht wohin mit all diesen Emotionen, die diese Reihe in mir ausgelöst haben.
Ich wollte damals bei "Obssessed" eigentlich einen Liebesroman lesen und ich bin unendlich froh, dass es keiner war. Ich hätte freiwillig niemals ein Buch mit dieser Thematik gelesen. Und ich glaube, dass dies für viele ebenfalls ein "Tabu-Thema" ist. ABER in diese Dunkelheit abzutauchen war einfach nur ein wunderbares Erlebnis!
Der Schreibstil hat mich die letzten 5 Bücher begleitet, mich in die einzelnen Protagonisten hineinsehen lassen ohne das ich eine Ahnung davon bekommen habe, was genau als nächstes passiert.
Mason & Emilia gehören zu meinen Lieblingscharakteren und ich bin dankbar, in diese Welt eingetaucht zu sein!

Like it’s predecessors this book holds nothing back. Emilia gets blackmailed by the evil Dr and Mason catches her in a compromising position that sends him into a tailspin which ultimately implodes their already fragile relationship. Cherry makes an appearance again as does Riley and her awful friend Bridget. In the end there is an HEA however you have to trudge through a lot of heavy scenes to get there.

It would have been a huge help if the author had bothered to mention on Booksprout that it was the final book in a trilogy and not a standalone !!
As a result I must review without any prior knowledge.
I found this rather confusing as there seemed to be a lot of stuff not explained. It really needs background.
Mason and Emilia are really toxic together but how their relationship started is not explained. Nor any others.
I found it distinctly off-putting to be left with so many blanks. Without them it could be a good story.

And Baby, She Stayed!
As twisted and as dark as the story was, it was on point!
Self sabotaging each other was evident, they hurt each other like no other, the lies, the betrayals all lead to the inevitable, the truth, but the truth is not as all as it seems as one seeks to destroy and the other seeks to protect only to betrayed and cast out.
They are each other’s darkness, seeking the salvation of love that is there light. The themes that are interwoven in the story are raw, real and powerful but not yet confronting.
Cherry and Riley never stood a chance against Mason and Emilia, both forever being used as pawns in there sick and twisted fantasy, and when Emilia finally puts them both in there place, you can’t help but applaud the backbone Emilia finally developed to stand on her own two feet!
And f@#$ yes to there happily ever after, the different points of views told a telling story, these authors clearly know how to write and have there readers coming back for more, and those scenes in and out of the bedroom were deliciously wicked, oh so steamy, hot, wet, dark, wild, dirty, filthy, yet sensually erotic.

A really great ending to the Mason & Emilia series! It was absolutely thrilling and I cheered, suffered and just devoured the book from the first to the last page!
The book series is really something special and highly recommended. But nothing for the faint-hearted!

Auch den letzten Teil der Reihe konnte mich komplett überzeugen!
Habe die komplette Reihe über so sehr mitgefiebert. Hab gehasst aber auch geliebt. Hab gehofft das sich alles zum guten wendet.
Ich liebe die Dunkelheit zwischen Mason und Emilia weil sie zusammen wie eine Explosion sind.
Die komplette Reihe ist für mich ein Highlight ! ✨
