Brian Ng’s Bit Elegies is a rhythmic, dexterous, thrillingly of the moment collection of poetry loaded with references to a culture it decries. The title poem threatens to unwrite itself as Ng holds his audience to either his poem must be paid for or it won't have existed at all, it presents a deft analogy of poetry’s relevance being undercut by lack of market share. The best remedy would be to get a copy of Brian Ng’s Bit Elegies and delight in their myriad linguistic fireworks and Ashberian disturbances of order.
