This is kind of a sequel but not really?

It just is continuing the story from the last volume. Mark now runs the show and his mom is in the middle of nowhere with her lover training a new kid to be a killer. The story in town with Mark is the more interesting one and how they're going to deal with the future is interesting. The story with the mom is decent but the ending kind of annoyed me cause felt like a step backwards. a 3.5 out of overall though.

I was disappointed that this didn't explore anything new for the characters. No new plot developments that are worth mentioning nor any new developments for the characters themselves. I honestly don't care what happens next.

Don't bother with this.

Original is series is great, this added nothing. Maybe it would've been worth the payoff by the end of the series, but it was apparently canceled because it just ends on a cliffhanger after 8 issues without having justified its existence after the end of the original.

Postal vol.1 Deliverance continues the story of the original series shortly after it ended. Our characters are no longer certain of the decisions they made and find themselves at crossroads again.
I didn't enjoy the continuation as much as the original. Usually Postal comics are dark and twisted, but in this one the characters are having a sort of life crisis. Mark is no longer sure he wants to be the mayor, and his mother and her partner realize that they do not really belong in the normal world. Not much happened aside from that,so I am hoping that the story will pick up in the next volume. Also, they changed the artist and I didn't like the art style as much.
Thank you to Edelweiss + for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I guess this is a sequel? I can't into this this one blind though so it was rough to figure everything out at first. It's a good old fashioned violent, good guys stopping bad guys.

A book that flatters itself, to deceive us about how brilliant it is. In the sarcastically-named Eden, the mayor wants a new job, but for now he's stuck with the town where nasty people are welcomed, but met with even more nastiness if 'needed'. Oh, and an older woman teaches a young kid to fight back against the local bullies, only for that to escalate into more and more bloodshed, too. The link between the two is revealed by a book that presses the most obvious buttons, and therefore is only slightly better than mediocre as a result. It hides its slightness with more in the way of cliffhangers, prevarication and obscurity than is good for it – but at the same time hides the fact it doesn't really have a heck of a lot to say. Read up about the Albanian kanun – that's how violence begets violence. This is just a child compared to that. A slightly generous three stars.
