"As the Demon King, I Am Very Distressed Because the Hero Is Too Weak 1.0"
I am the Demon King Sarthis. If I go according to the script, I, the Demon King should be defeated by the Hero on the destined night every five hundred years. After that, I can gloriously leave the field and live as a lazybones.
I’ve been working diligently for this purpose for hundreds of years, and finally, I met my fated opponent. As a result, this guy is so weak he couldn’t even pierce through the first layer of my armor with his ultimate move.
……What methods could I use to lose to this Hero? Urgent, waiting online!
The story revolves around an almost depressed Demon King- Sarthis, a lovestruck Hero- Luke, a "third wheel captive" Princess Coleman, and a very cute pet Fafnir. - Michelle-08
A Demon King will be defeated by the Hero every 500 years. They can then retire to do anything they like and give way to their successor to be defeated by yet another Hero. Sarthis was waiting for that moment. He trained diligently only to meet Luke, a lukewarm Hero. Not that Luke wasn't the strongest, just that he wasn't diligent enough to win. Basically, it was a cute short story with lovable characters.
I wasn’t expecting a lot out of a web novella like this, but it somehow let me down even more than I anticipated. There was really nothing romantic so when they got together at the end it was just... bad, the princess was just kinda THERE, and oh yeah, did I mention one of them is 16 and the other is like 500+?
