I have transitioned to the light novels after enjoying that single season of "Monster Girl Doctor" and starving for more content. What I found exceeded my expectation, the original light novels simply had more story that the anime could barely translate it to the screen.

This volume had an air of finality around, especially with how the overall story progressed. It can now be said that those who were shipping for Sapphee and Glenn could finally unfurl those sails for full speed ahead. Glenn finally choose the one, but that twist at the end seemed forced. Still, for the main relationship arc for the two main characters to reach that development, it was satisfying.

The author assured in the postscript that more Monster Girl Doctor stories were coming, but it would be a tall order to top this volume.

A bit more drama in this volume but I'd still describe this series as super chill. It’s silly and comedic, perfect to relax with if you are looking to turn off your brain for a while.

Great book as always. Wish this book was a little longer, i think it was a little rushed. Still a great book though. :D. However I'm concerned about the anime now.

Yoooooooo there better be some great moments for Glenn and sapphees relationship in the anime. Season 1 of the anime is great but I wish there was just a little more development of their relationship(more little details). However the books did a great job. I'm hoping that there will be more than 12 episodes in the next season of the anime because in my opinion, there was a lot more stuff happened/covered in the these three books compared to the last three books. Other than that, everything is great. Can't wait until the next volume comes out.

Six volumes in and I am still enjoying this series. The writing is still pretty good, and the girls have enough of a personality difference that they don't get boring. I will say the mystery of what happens in this volume is interesting, though they remove the actual threat of it pretty quick, which left me feeling kinda let down.
The very, very end of this book WAS a surprise, however, and I was super glad to see it. And the author's note afterwards was a good call, as it really did kind of feel like the series could have ended there and been good. I am curious as to what the next arch while bring, and the author seems very passionate about monster girls, so that's good.
In the end, we learn a lot of Glenn's family and his and his nurse's early years and how they interacted and their thoughts on each other. We also get a bit of a look at Glenn's brother and how he views the world and how it differs from Glenn.
So yeah, still enjoying this series and look forward to reading more.

I've been reading the series since watching the anime. I like the anime and wanted to see what else the books were like. All the books are good and this one continues the quality. Glenn and Saphee are the stars in this one. The supporting monsters show up and provide additional hilarity and complications. A good, light fun read that sets up the next novel quite well. Glenn, gets embroiled with the girls....

While rather short even for a light novel, it was an entertaining read. There is not as much doctoring in this volume, but on the other hand there is progress in the romance department. I am not an overly big fan of some of the tropes used, nor do I fully understand why assassins would accept a contract (and one going beyond what most would expect to be an assassination) and then only partially fulfil it is a bit odd, but none of that influenced my liking of the book. The quick resolution of events might have helped. In the end, I enjoyed the volume well enough.
