I absolutely A D O R E this series, and Nicola just completely steals my heart every time for being the feisty little badass cutie she is. Every chapter is like its own short story but also the ongoing plot is starting to develop really beautifully. I couldn't wait until volume 3 was reprinted so I special ordered this from the UK and it was WORTH IT.

All of these stories had me laughing and feeling so wholesome. It was a wonderful read for October. Beautiful art too.

Nicola Traveling Around the Demons' World, Vol. 3 by Asaya Miyanaga, is a continuation of this cute series on a young human witch named Nicola, stuck in the Demon World. She travels the land with Simon, a travelling merchant, and the pair get into all sorts of adventures. In this volume they visit an opera, get their fortunes told, and team up with a tiny bandit from previous volumes, in order to continue Nicola's quest...
These books are very cute and enjoyable. Featuring an excellent art style, a pleasing, humorous and touching story, and some interesting fantasy characters and ideas, this is an ideal quick manga read, and I continue to enjoy them, and look forward to more.

Nicola Traveling Around The Demons' World continues to be the most charming, funny & wholesome manga series - while episodic in its storytelling, the mishaps & adventures Nicola + her demon friend/companion reunite with old friends as Nicola tries to uncover more about her family!
Oh where to start with this series, no matter which volume you read, you'll leave it with a smile on your face (✿´‿`) its so sweet, charming & endearing at its heart this fantasy manga follows the deeper themes of friendship as she travels with her demon friend (simon), get into wacky mishaps and enjoy the wonders of the demon world!
Nicola Traveling Around The Demons' World Vol. 3 has its own strength as an addition to the series because I found this one had a more solidified plot driving the episodic chapters which I really liked ˚ ༘♡ ·˚ ₊˚ˑ༄ؘ - its also been a while since I've read from this series but what stood out to me about Vol. 3 was how it was more about the "quiet" character moments from seeing Nicola's strength and how much she's grown since she stumbled into the world - she's SO fearless (i adore her courage & silliness, definitely a unique presence in the wacky, chilling vibes of the demon world!-`♡´-
From joining Rosetta's family at an auction that doesn't go quite as expected, to learning about Nicola's first meeting with her demon companion, to helping Simon get rid of his bad luck, to trying to uncover more clues about Nicola's mom & reuniting with an old companion, there was an underlying thread tying these stories together but also highlighting the wondrous theme of friendship that makes this series so wholesome!
Nicola & Simon's dynamic is so funny, from seeing how they met to seeing how close their friendship has become - it made me so happy but in a bittersweet kind of way bc I know there's only 1 VOLUME LEFT (*SOB!)
I continue to love the artwork of this series - the sepia, but equally detailed sketchbook-like quality is so full of charm and immerses you at every turn of the page in the world of demons! The artwork wonderfully captures the chaotic, fast-paced action throughout their adventures but also embraces those quieter moments, as well as the spot-on humor that makes Nicola so charming.
As much as I love this series, I think sometimes the worldbuilding feels a bit unbalanced where the locales for some chapters just feel like backdrops with the episodic nature, we're not left to explore too much - but I think Blakkarts (the fortune-telling town) or a big metropolis where there's opportunity to sink into the setting / world as with previous volumes but thankfully, I never feel lost - its just a gripe I have because there's so much about this setting that's just so fascinating!
Nicola Traveling Vol. 3, is a continuation full of fun adventures, humor and wonderful character moments. Comedy, fantasy and slice-of-life journeys wonderfully blend among the charming leads - a human girl and her demon companion as they make friends and visit all the various locales of the whimsical demon world. A fantastic series, I wish could go on forever!! <3

A leitura de pistas começa e a melhor hipótese parece ser ir até ao misterioso e perigoso vale onde se diz que os humanos presos no mundo dos demónios se escondem.

Uma ternura bombástica, como sempre.
O deleite de ver Nicola a mascarar-se de vidente para tentar fazer passar a Simon a ideia de que ele não está amaldiçoado com azar e o prazer de seguir os nossos protagonistas vestidos de guerreiros a descer ao vale perdido deparando-se com um ser gigante assustador … é tudo muito bom.
Tudo seria meramente bom sem um desenho como o que temos, o desenho de extrema fofura e fora do normal, diferente de tudo até na cor, eleva o livro a um patamar de soberbo e inesquecível.

--- [Capa] – A capa mais empolgante dos 4 volumes da série e a minha favorita. O mistério e ternura estão aqui bem conseguidos. Quem pode resistir a esta capa?

Una pequeña bruja llamada Nicola viaja con un vendedor ambulante por todo el mundo demoniaco esta vez con un motivo aparte de vender.
Me encanta como el mapa va creciendo y el extra al final es muy buen detalle.
Me encanta como esta nueva informacion da a la historia una nueva motivación desde el tomo anterior tenía cierta sospecha pero ahora espero leer más sobre el tema.
Los personajes son geniales hasta los extras y es muy lindo conocer un poco más de sus pasados.
La ilustración es muy bonita.

Okay, there’s a little violence in the form of a doll swung around like a flail, but it is more funny than scary. Nicola Traveling... remains a charming all-ages manga that will entertain all comers. In this volume, we get our strongest inkling of an overarching narrative as Nicola discovers she may still have a surviving family member. The whimsical, idiosyncratic illustrations remain a real draw (pun intended) in this series. The demon territory map opening the volume is awesome, and I would totally be in line for Nicola inspired tarot like we see in the third chapter in this one!

The story continues with Nicola and Simon's adventures through the demon world. There are some recurring characters that make their appearance in the third volume. Nicola's search for clues about her past continue to build. Meanwhile we learn more about Simon and he continues to endear himself to Nicola and the reader. Can't wait for the fourth volume!

I guess like most manga, it takes a few volumes for the narrative to turn I to anything substantial simply because of how their publishing system works. Anyhow, I’m liking how things are picking up steam and consequence. Looking forward to hopefully co to using to read this and hoping that the narrative co to yes to build on itself

Absolutely adorable folklore and nothing against the quality because I would've eaten this up when I was eight years old but I'm not sure if I'll pick up the next volume when it's released. It's just a little too lightweight of an adventure for me, a grown man reading children's books.

I really enjoy this series and how it is developing. Nicola is such a cute character and I love her relationship with Simon. They seem like a happy little found family.
