Man being what he is, it is best to err on the side of caution, and prepare for the worst.
Devastated by loss and grief after a brutal attack by the increasingly psychotic Saskia, Deacon and Finn realise they have to fight more than hunger and disease to stay alive.
As Deacon’s need for justice deepens, can he punish the guilty?
The arrival of a motorcycle gang puts more pressure on the town’s limited resources and brings with it a rival equally as vengeful as Saskia.
As tensions rise, and tempers explode, who will be the victor?
Cassie and Rick have battled to save the farm but with the arrival of Sebastian, the balance of power has shifted, and an enemy is growing from within their safe haven.
Will they realise the danger before it is too late?

This is the fourth installment in this series. The story is so good they are hard to put down once you start. The story is about the main characters Cassie, Rick, Dan, Saskia, and Deacon. The characters are so believable we meet some new Survivors. So much happens in this installment it will keep you turning the pages.
I love this because I can binge read the entire series! What a great series it is too! Cassie is a bit too spoiled to be able to adapt to survival mode quickly and Rick is the only person who can keep her alive. Both are developed so well that you just cannot help but believe in their authenticity. Do not miss this great boxset.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
What a ride this story is. I love the Rick and Cassie side of the story, along with the children. Sebastian, not so much. In really want someone to put him down like a rabid dog. Now I have to wait until August to continue on this journey.
