'Because a Siphon are never taught to feel guilty about eating a mermaid.' The first thing young Siphon are taught is to relinquish all guilt at the consumption of the beautiful, dazzling scaled mer-eople. The second is that you will never drown, but to never walk to into the ocean. The third, your prey will always be wearing a green-blue necklace to allow them to walk on land. Rey knows these rules like the back of his hand. But these rules start to look a whole lot different one Summer when that hand begins to hold the hand of the soft-spoken yet wise mer-man Finn.
I really did not know what to expect from this story, I am glad that I read it. I am not quite sure what this book genre is. I thought it was a thriller mixed in with a bit of gay romance. I still think it is. What I loved about this book it actually shows love between two totally different species. Loved the author and loved the book.
I got a free copy of the book and is voluntarily leaving a review
Original storyline and mermaid, merman and the human animals like vampire that feed on them. The book was gripping but not strong enough for me. It's a story about beautiful and the beast where a hunter (Rey) falls and likes his prey (Finn) but yet they had to keep avoiding the ferocious hunter Keith. I didnt grip my attention fast enough, however I will recommend it for those looking for a simple read on love.
