After that k̳i̳l̳l̳e̳r̳ cliffhanger at the end of book one I was 🅓🅨🅘🅝🅖 to get my hands on books two and three. 👐 Luckily for me, this author is a complete 🅂🅆🄴🄴🅃🄷🄴🄰🅁🅃 💕 and she hooked me up with the rest of the books. 🙌 Both of which I promptly inhaled back to back (I am saving the prologue for last). 👍



Book two picks up the main p͓̽l͓̽o͓̽t͓̽ with ᏢᎥᏢᎬᏒ, 🅻🅰🆈🅻🅰, and 𝓠𝓾𝓲𝓷𝓷 trying to rendezvous at their safe house. 🏢 They've lost one of their own and things are 𝖍𝖊𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖓𝖌 up. 🔥 The r♥o♥m♥a♥n♥c♥e♥ this go around focuses on 🅻🅰🆈🅻🅰 and ⱤØ₥₳₦ (although we get POVs from several other characters), and they were both fun ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀs to read about. 😄 Like ᏢᎥᏢᎬᏒ before her, 🅻🅰🆈🅻🅰 was full of sass. 🔪 And ⱤØ₥₳₦ was one šm⊕κïη' h⊕† Daddy. 🔥 The sex was rough, kinky, and full of 🅓🅤🅑🅘🅞🅤🅢 🅒🅞🅝🅢🅔🅝🅣. 🙌 The writing, pace, and plot all remained ᴛᴏᴘ ɴᴏᴛᴄʜ. 👍 There was no Ø₩ or Ø₥ drama, and we are again left with a k̳i̳l̳l̳e̳r̳ of a 🅲🅻🅸🅵🅵🅷🅰🅽🅶🅴🆁. 👀

In Book #2 we meet Lyla whose specialty is being a thief. Like the others in her group of friends she has been viewed as a toy to play with by a Daddy Dom. Her one comes in the form of Roman who is the bodyguard and advisor for Ethan whom we meet in Book #1 with Piper. At the start of this book we learn that Mary is dead and that Lyla sends a text message with one word "RUN". Piper manages to escape and Lyla tries but is stopped by Roman whom she has an all-out spar war with. I have to say it was nice to see Roman meeting his match with Lyla and not having her play a victim or damsel type character. She was gutsy which I have liked about the Babygirls in this book. During the book Lyla and Quinn are taken to Reid's compound where we learn about the significance of the tattoo on her inner thigh. Bad Babygirl Thief also lays the groundwork for the next book with Quinn and Ryder. The other thing I enjoyed about this book is we learn more about Anna's relationship with her father and why she is targeting the girls and also more about Julie's death. Just like the previous books, Bad Babygirl Thief ends on a cliffhanger as Lyla is taken by Anna. Will she survive the ordeal and her friends find her or will she end up tortured and six feet under like their friend Mary?

I think that I like this one better than I like the first one. I think that it's because I don't have the same feelings toward Roman as I do toward Ethan. I really didn't like Ethan for a lot of his and Piper's book, and I don't have that same kind of feeling toward Roman.

I totally loved Lyla. I thought that she was hilarious and the way that she kept treating Roman was funny as all get out. I mean, she's definitely going to keep Roman on his toes. She's tricksy, and I like that. I mean, she manages to work her way around and do everything that she can to do what she wants. I think that Roman discounts her at his own risk.

Roman, I think, is pretty perfect for Lyla. He knows what she's capable of, at least most of the time, and they are always going to be challenging each other, in the best way. I love the chemistry in between the two of them.

I was also so excited for the next part of the story. It really is a fantastic suspense story.

FUCKEJAKAK FUCK MEEE UPPP!!!! this has so many twist and turns and dangerous things i am on the edge of my seat!!! I thought piper cliff was OMG.. I SCREAMED AT MY KINDEL FOR LYLA!!!
I swear.. I love Roman and Lyla they are my fave couple in this daddy dom/book we have the steamy sexy scenes.. the banter between the two Lyla kicking ass and not backing down from Roman. As for Roman he knew and loved dominating his girl and even if he met her once or twice when he knew she was in trouble he tossed that down and had her back!! What i love that he loved when she hit him with a brick.. 🤣🤣🤣

Is there any way I can give this more than 5 stars? Seriously this series deserves it. One of the best series I've read in 2019. Zoe Blake is one of the best dark romance authors I've ever read. If you like dark romance and questionable consent then this is the series for you. Even though these books have different couples, these are not standalones. You would be totally lost if you tried to read them out of order.

Bad Babygirl: The Thief picks up where book 1 left off but the main characters are now different. This time the main characters are Lyla and Roman. Baby did a bad bad thing and Daddy was ready with his punishments. The chemistry between Lyla and her Russian, Roman will leave you feeling the need for a cold shower. The plot is fantastic, the feels great, the chemistry insanely awesome. The Daddy Dom is so delicious. I look forward to the next book and the next "bad Babygirl ".

We saw some of Layla in The Con Artist.
Now we get a more in-depth look into her life.
That is one badass chick!
She gives as good as she gets and then some.
And she absolutely gives Roman a run for his money.
Which he doesn’t mind at all.
But with it comes Roman’s kind of discipline 😛
I loved their dynamics.
Layla really likes Romans' need to be her Daddy and everything that it entails.
But she absolutely doesn’t rollover for him and she certainly doesn’t give in easily.
Roman loves that about her.
He wants her obedience.
He wants her trust.
But Roman also wants her to still be her feisty sassy self.
I loved that about him.
Even though Roman lets her get away with a lot,of course not without some discipline,I never saw him as weak or not fulfilling his need to be her Daddy.
Ms. Blake has me hooked and addicted to her new series!
It’s so very different and original to any Daddy Dom books I’ve read.
The writing is pulling and kept me captivated.
The storyline and plot are fantastic!
It’s unpredictable and I never knew how this amazing author was going to go with it.
I loved that is was steamy and funny in parts.
And intense and scary in other parts.
Just a great mix that works and blends so well to make for one explosive read.
That cliffhanger had me screaming for the next book.

The story of the bad babygirls continues with Lyla and Roman. Lyla is a masterful thief who is quite skilled in getting access to the most difficult places. The horrifying incident involving her friend, Mary forces her to run. Misunderstandings take their place in her suspicions regarding Roman as she finds it hard to trust anyone outside those in her inner circle. She does not manage to resist her attraction to him for very long due to his ruthless pursuit of her.

Roman is not from Russia no matter what Lyla thinks. He is a notorious criminal who will do whatever it takes to get Lyla back and keep her safe. She is involved in something that puts her in dangerous waters with a psychotic mind tracking her to torture her for revenge. Roman might not be able to keep her from harm if she is caught by such a maniac.

Zoe Blake manages to put together a thrilling tale filled with suspense and danger. I was not able to put it down as every moment was quite intriguing. I cannot wait to read the next book as the adventure ends with Quinn and Ryder's story.

It's getting intense!

In book two... Now this is the Twist. Usually in a series we got one couple in a series as main characters with side characters surround them. That one couple would get their stories full in one series while the side characters got theirs after in another book, right?

But Zoe make a Twist. She make each book with different couple with one big story that happen in the same time. For me it's interesting. Fresh new way of author telling her story.

In book one we got cliffy from Piper and Ethan story that would continue in book two, so make sure you read from the start of this series.
Although Layla and Roman story in book two is quite dominant. And Quinn's already show her story a bit.

In this book two we got more intense. The suspence, the steamy parts, and the dark side of abuse victim.

A 4,5 star for book two for the author uppen her game. Super excited to read what she'll do with the third book

I started this book the minute I finished Book 1. Or maybe it was the next day. Whatever.

I loved Book 1, especially Piper and her criminal career and heists, artistic talent and sass. Ethan was fine??? You read enough of these books and the men kind of blend into one another - tall, dark, domineering, rich, trigger-happy and boasting a 10 inch gun. Yes. Gun.

Imagine my surprised delight when I met yet another fantastic female lead in this book. Lyla was absolutely perfect. She is a thief on hire and finds herself in the crosshairs of Roman for many, many reasons. Where Piper's talents lie in forgeries and making fakes, Lyla is a criminal in the more known and heard of terms. Breaking and entering, stealing, etc. Roman is Ethan 2.0. No surprises there.

But what I liked best about the book was Lyla's determination. Usually, it doesn't take long for the heroine to 'give up' and 'give in' to the hero because -

a. He's hot
b. he spanks you when you don't give up or give in
c. hot sex with more spanking
d. he takes care of your after all that rough sex and punishments he forced on you
e. he buys you all kinds of ridiculously expensive shit from all that illegally acquired money
e. did I mention he's hot?

All the problems begin and end with this. The hero is hot. IF he wasn't so darn hot and attractive, he would be shot. Or sitting in court facing multiple sexual harassment charges. Hot men are a danger to women with highly active imagination.

Where was I? Right. Lyla.

So, Lyla tries to escape Roman's clutches and succeeds multiple times. He still catches her and punishes her, because he's daddy. And towards the end she lets him, because after so many successful attempts and attacks she has made her point clear: do not f### with me, hot guy. I will make you bleed. And I loved that!!!

The suspense from the first book continues and the mystery of the doll house unfolds further. If there is one thing I did not like it's Quinn. I mean, I liked her, okay? She wears baby doll dresses and Doc Martens. She customizes guns for scary dudes. And the way her description is given she appears the be the most 'child like' in appearance than the other two girls. Hair in pig tails, soft spoken manner.

Look, I am not saying the book is perfect. A few things did annoy me, they way a few things in these kind of books usually do. Like how the girls are always short enough to reach up to the guy's shoulder. How they always look like angels when they sleep. How their bodies are so slim and tiny that they feel like fluttering birds in the arms of the hero.

Please.

Who are these women and what are these traits? I would not find these things so problematic if practically every other book had similar heroines. Let's have some diversity in terms of not just skin color or ethnicity but also in terms of what makes women, women???? Every girl cannot and SHOULD NOT be thin as a rail with a large bosom, nipped in waist that the hero can perfectly hold in his massive hands. And it's these small irritating things that made me take a star off.

But I would still recommend this book to people because Lyla. Read this book for Lyla and her courage, her resourcefulness, her ability to listen to her mind and not give in to her heart. And to not give in to the hot guy when there's a high chance he offed your besties.

Also, spoiler alert: The next and final book in the series is a miss. Just saying.

This is the second book in the Bad Babygirls Series. I was intrigued by the story and decided to read this, and it never dissapoint me. The plot and characters are sooo good, very detailed, hot, and amazing. Even the cliff hanger makes you want to read the next part of the series. This is a very must read series.

The main characters in this story are Lyla and Roman. Lyla is a thief known as Four (through her tattoo) and member of the Compound with Reid as their father. While Roman is, well, Ethan's business partner and best friend who's out to take some disk which is in the hands of Lyla. But the moment they met, sparks started with Roman while Lyla was always left doubting his intentions and even smash his head with a brick. The other thing I enjoyed about this book is that we learn more about Anna's relationship with her father, whom the girls killed because of Julie, and that's the reason why she is targeting the girls. But just like the previous book, this ends on a cliffhanger as Lyla is taken and kidnap by Anna.

The second book in Zoe Blake's Bad Babygirls series, The Thief, is gripping, deliciously dark and even more thrilling than Book 1.

Most of my feelings towards the first book is the same for this one, but I have to admit... this sequel is pretty darn AMAZING! The plot is satisfyingly addictive and enticing. With more tension, danger, anticipation, drama, and action, the story never fails to suprise and thrill. There's this awesome feeling of anxiousness and never really knowing what would happen next that had me absolutely hooked. Yes, the story is disturbing, but even though I felt uneasy, I still really wanted to know what would happen next. I also think this installment is funnier and I actually laughed a few times. It ends with a bang and another cliffhanger that had me eagerly downloading the finale.

I adored Lyla. She's independent, sassy, and just so funny. She's a firecracker and I loved her personality. Roman is just as dominant and controlling as Ethan, but I liked him a bit more. I also really liked Lyla and Roman together and even though I'm still not into the Daddy Dom, I found myself rooting for them. I loved their chemistry, playful bantering, and this time, I actually felt some swoons here and there.

Even though the Daddy Dom is not for me, there is something irresistible about Zoe Blake's writing, characters, and story development. I think the mystery, suspense, thrills, action, and humor are absolutely amazing in this series. The characters are perfectly flawed and interesting and I really enjoyed getting to know them all. Lyla and Roman are by far my favorites, but maybe that'll change after I read The Expert, which is about Quinn and Ryder.

If you love dark and twisty romances, then I highly suggest you add this book/series to your TBR!

This is the second story in the Bad Babygirl Series from Zoe Blake. You have to read the first book The Con-Artist to know what is going on in this book. This is the story of Layla. The girls are all on the run and trying to meet at a safe house. Roman though needs information from her and since he has been watching her for a while since he first saw her he is not letting her go anywhere. Your going to love this book. I don't want to give away the main plot of the stories just know this is a story about some super bad butt chicks and the men that love them and are their Daddies now. I would give this entire series a million stars if I could I had me hooked and reading as fast as I could. This one ends on a cliffhanger too. But dont worry the next book is available so you do not have to wait at all for the third book.

This series and endings get better and better with each book. This author utterly captivated me especially with the characters. I was so engrossed in all the different ways these girls are total bad**ses. This story truly has been one of my favorite series this year. It has suspense, emotion, bdsm, control, and alpha males. I will definitely read more from this author and one-click her books. She has blown me away with her words because they are so descriptive and detailed. I absolutely love the alpha males and how they take control when their babies let them.

I wish Zoe, Layla and Quinn would just give the control to their daddies, but then the story would not be so interesting and captivating. The lengths these men go to make sure their babies are safe is so inspiring. I absolutely love everything about these books.

Zoe, Layla and Quinn’s story continues. They have more problems and situations they put themselves in. Their men are going crazy because their stupidity and hard headediness. It is so frustrating for them and the readers. The ending is another cliffhanger and leaves you waiting to see what is going to happen.

This review might take me a moment because after reading "Babygirls #2", it took a moment to process the entire thing. Lyla learns at a very young age that being a thief can get you into places that locks won't hold you out of. Especially if you want in badly enough. It can also call attention to the very gift you try to hide. Now, Lyla is running from her past, present, and future. From her past because like all of us we've done some rather un-savory activities. Her present because her past is running too fast in her direction. And her future because his name is Roman and he's falling hard for the lady who's using every skill she's has to get away. If you're confused I am too. I did warn you that this might take a minute to sort out. The storyline will keep you guessing and mind-boggled, but oh how good it is. But the ending is not what you're expecting so buckle your seat belts, this rides not over till #3 hits your hot little hands. BEWARE : Hair Raising has a new name ... Ms. Zoe Blake !!

Lyla is next in the series. I will not bore you with a recap of what happened in the last book. If you are reading them in order, you already know. I will say that we have a crazy B&^%$ out there and her name is Anna. I was heartsick about Mary. That is all you are getting on that. Roman is not about to let anything happen to Lyla. That man was struck down by her just like Ethan was with Piper.

Never let it be said that a woman can’t defend herself. Lyla proved that in spades that she can kick butt, BIG TIME. Roman is a hottie and boy is he determined. I love it. But then a twist. Anna is crazy and we actually find out how crazy she is. OMG, this girl you never want to meet in a dark alley. We are definitely chasing pure evil and the stacks go up. I knew we were going to be in bigger trouble them our two hot men, Ethan and Roman. I have to know what happens next. Quinn’s story is next and we have another hottie to learn about, Ryder.

The Russian and His Babydoll Who Bites

This series just gets BETTER AND BETTER! I love the interweaving of all the girls and their mens’ stories. There is a catch-up in the beginning the book, so you could start with this book. But don’t do it! Read them all!
The focus in this book is of course on thief, Lyla, and Ethan’s well dressed heavy, Roman. Their connection is intense and violent! Lyla has major trust issues- don’t mess with her!! They truly have a combustible daddy connection. 🔥🔥 I was totally engrossed. My only wish was that Roman’s turnaround on how he felt was either not so quick or explained better, but I could not put this down. There is intense daddy discipline and just as HOT daddy loving.
And, OMG, again with the end. Ms. Blake is a Bad, Bad Girl herself leaving us on another cliffie, and what a cliffhanger it is! (But I guess we can let her off on light punishment since the next book is available and we won’t be left in suspense for long. 😍)

Lyla is one tough as nails babygirl. She knows how to give it as good as she gets it. Roman decides that Lyla is his to protect after discovering the unfortunate fate of Lyla's friend. His plans quickly crash and burn when she kicks his butt. Lyla is our resident babygirl ninja. Lyla doesn't trust Roman or Ethan. She puts up a good fight. Roman loves the challenge and is willing fight for Lyla no matter what she dishes out.

This series is keeping me on my toes. I love every twist and turn. The ending is another nail-biting cliffhanger. 5 Stars

Bad BabyGirl: The Thief is 2.5 in the Bad Babygirls series. Well this book just upped this series rating. And, it ends on a HUGE cliffhanger. Fortunately, Bad Babygirl: The Expert is already on my kindle and soon to be released. So, the waiting won’t be long now.

It’s now Lyla’s story. She is “The Thief”. She has mad lock picking and pickpocketing skills. Roman (Ethans second in charge man/friend) keeps trying to keep Lyla safe but she is also good at getting away.

We learn what her what her role was in getting revenge for Julie from her perspective. Someone one is sending them creepy stuff from that night and Mary is now dead. This situation has now put Lyla on Roman's radar. Roman is Ethan's number 2 and he has the same kink. Roman has every intention to keep her safe. He also wants Lyla for his very own. She stirs something in him he hasn't felt in a while and he won't let her down. I am really enjoying this series. Yes the daddy kink can be rough at times and I am still on the fence about how I feel but the interaction between Lyla and Roman at times is down right comical. We also learn a secret about Lyla's past that not even the rest of the Babygirls know. Old friends from that past pop up and it was nice to catch up with them. 4.5 stars for m

Wow! I just can’t get enough of these amazing independent women. They are total badass females who take care of business & have each other’s backs. Lyla is a thief who makes me think of Robin Hood only taking from the rich. She’s can scale a building almost like Spider-Man & get away from anyone who may be after her, even someone who’s trying to help her. She doesn’t trust anyone except her friends & is suspicious of everyone else.
Roman is a gorgeous overprotective man who has the hots for Lyla even though he’s researched her and knows all about her and her crimes. Trying to protect her proves to be a chore when she keeps disappearing trying to find her friends when someone is out to kill them.
Will he finally be able to contain her or will she get away and be the next victim to the evil Anna?

I am loving this series so hard! This is book 2, and the story is ongoing so you have to read them all (yes, the prequel, too) and in order. This short focuses mostly on Roman and Lyla, but all the couple have formed and we do see all of them in this story. Lyla is totally kick butt, and a perfect match for Roman. She fights against his Daddy kink, and he loves to pursue her! In the meantime, things are unravelling and Lyla, Quinn, and Piper struggle to put it together, when each of them have their Dom Daddy “protecting” them-although they feel it more as interfering. My favourite scene was with Roman's wallet, and all it entailed. So kinkily sweet! The story continues and I am desperate to find out what happens next! Such a great series, lots of action, and someone to save!
