The people of this town DEFINITELY didn't have ANY LOGIC
This is set in our world where the citizens have lost their mind (Wait a moment..that is true for our world too!!)
But anyway ...this story begins in a town where people are losing their livestock
BUT rather than complaining to the police and trying to find who the culprit is...
They come up with an "awesome solution "
The solution is to "Sacrifice" a girl to the "beast" who is stealing their cattle
CAN ANY OF YOU COME UP WITH A BETTER SOLUTION??!
No, right??!!
Cause that's what these people do!!
They just leave her tied up in the middle of the forest !!

People live behind smokescreens of kindness and honesty, but as soon as the going gets tough, the smoke clears and reveals the real monster lurking beneath. The fact that Ike is seven feet tall and built like an ox will be a helpful, constant reminder not to trust him.

If you wanna know how I feel about this book then go check out my review for Stalking her Sweetly. My feelings were the same only this book was weirder…if that’s even possible😶
I didn’t hate the book but I wasn’t a fan of it either, like I said it was weird and I just can’t explain it. But what I will say, is that it is unlike any Jessa Kane book I’ve ever read and I���m not sure I would recommend it unless you’re feeling adventurous😂

I didn’t think there was any way for this book to get better, but then Jessa Kane gave us audio and HOLY SHIT. It’s one of the most perfectly narrated books ever!!! This purchase was worth every single cent because I will be listening to it regularly!
Diana (virgin, likes wi-fi and indoor plumbing) has been left in the forest tied to a tree as a sacrificial virgin for a beast that is allegedly killing cows and stealing chickens.
Ike (virgin, orphaned at age 11) is making the rounds of the forest looking for danger when he spots a tiny human tied to a tree. Bless his precious heart! What little Ike knows of women has been learned by watching VHS tapes of Gilligan's Island (I laughed so freaking much in this book).
Diana is shocked when she discovers Ike isn't a "beast" at all, he's just a REALLY large man with a wild mane and beard. These two have some HILIARIOUS interactions while also trying to figure out these new, intense feelings, etc.
SEX: It’s sooooo good. It’s also somehow hilarious!!! It’s typical OTT Jessa Kane sex and I couldn’t get enough of it. When you add the audio? Good lord, I nearly didn’t survive it!

This was a quick and dirty read, but thoroughly entertaining.
Diana is chosen to be sacrificed to the beast after the local townspeople’s livestock are being hunted and killed, left and tied to a tree she is terrified when the beast arrives only to be a large man who has lived his life in the shadows of the surrounding woods. Diana quickly comes to see the man beneath the exterior and finds a man she cannot help but fall for, is it possible for her to love him so completely and so fast?
Ike has lived his life in the woods mostly alone after his mother died in childbirth and his father couldn’t live without her, now a man that roams the forest and lives the simple life he is shocked when he comes across the most perfect woman and one he is certain is his fate and was always meant to be his but could she possibly want to stay and love a man like him and could he let her go if that was what she really wanted?
This was a crazy hot interpretation of beauty and the beast in my opinion, loved the story and how these two came together. Loved this book.

4.5 stars: he calls her tiny human AND watches Gilligan’s Island
Listen… I grew up watching reruns of Gilligan’s Island (along with I Love Lucy), so when i saw it mentioned here, I GASPED… and then giggled… and then got emotional cause I miss my childhood 😭.
But I digress lol
The audiobook??? IT. F’ING. EAAAAAATS 😮💨👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 just like they’re saying the beast in the town is doing 🤣.
And it’s duet narration? My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!!😮💨❤️
ANNNNNNNDDD it has bonus material at the end 👏🏻.
Diana’s being offered as a sacrifice to the beast that keeps consuming livestock 😅 DEEEEECADES before, something similar happened and another woman was forced to be the offering to calm down the beast- and it worked (according to stories). And because Diana’s a virgin, she’s the perfect candidate (and her dad doesn’t even TRY fight for her to NOT be the sacrifice 😑😒😐).
When she meets this 7 foot “beast”, she realizes that he’s not what everyone thinks he is 👀 and she can’t help but be attracted to him 👀.
Ike has been living without his parents since he was 11 ☹️ he’s living a primitive life, watching Gilligan’s Island reruns on VHS tapes (😭I remember those days) and has limited knowledge on the outside world…

Listen… I grew up watching reruns of Gilligan’s Island (along with I Love Lucy), so when i saw it mentioned here, I GASPED… and then giggled… and then got emotional cause I miss my childhood 😭.
But I digress lol
The audiobook??? IT. F’ING. EAAAAAATS 😮💨👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 just like they’re saying the beast in the town is doing 🤣.
And it’s duet narration? My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!!😮💨❤️
ANNNNNNNDDD it has bonus material at the end 👏🏻.
Diana’s being offered as a sacrifice to the beast that keeps consuming livestock 😅 DEEEEECADES before, something similar happened and another woman was forced to be the offering to calm down the beast- and it worked (according to stories). And because Diana’s a virgin, she’s the perfect candidate (and her dad doesn’t even TRY fight for her to NOT be the sacrifice 😑😒😐).
When she meets this 7 foot “beast”, she realizes that he’s not what everyone thinks he is 👀 and she can’t help but be attracted to him 👀.
Ike has been living without his parents since he was 11 ☹️ he’s living a primitive life, watching Gilligan’s Island reruns on VHS tapes (😭I remember those days) and has limited knowledge on the outside world…
And, well, sex 😅

I loved this! Honestly, this is what I was wanting from Jessa Kane and she delivered. It was over the top and erotic. Was it logical? No. Is it anything that’s going to make you a better person? Nope. Just what I read Jessa Kane for.
This was a sort of Beauty and Beast retelling that I didn’t know I would like. I loved Diana and Ike and together! They both made me laugh and I adored the way Ike was protective of her. He literally treated her like his everything and we all know I’m a sucker for that.
While this novella won’t be for everyone, I really enjoyed it! If you are a fan of Kane's previous work then you will love it as well!

1.75 ⭐️ The dialog was far too cringe/absurd for me, with lines like ‘You will only allow me inside this girl hole’.

This book is exactly what it says on the tin and I will continue to say that for every book I review by Jessa Kane. This one is probably one of my favorites though. It was quick, sweet, and a little bit morally unsound. Okay, a lot. But If you want a quick thrill, where you the Tarzan like man gets the girl and treats her like his jungle queen.
He knows he shouldn't keep her, but he'll treat her so good and breed her anyway.
Yup. I'm into it.
If you are too, this book is for you.

Again with so much ridiculousness in this book. It's modern times and the guy wears a loincloth and has never gone to the village? This isn't George of the Jungle or Tarzan. Then again, maybe it is:
❖ The guy legit pounds his chest like Tarzan after he makes her orgasm.
He pounds his chest. I can't take this seriously...then again, maybe with these quick KU reads, we're not supposed to do so.
Just craziness all around. Definite eye roll moments too:
❖ In these moments with him, I’m not a mother or a wife or even a woman. I’m a depraved, sex-addicted creature and I need to be filled or I’ll die.
This is about the only thing I found sweet about this book:
♥ Whereas the cave was crude and basic when I first saw it, when I woke up from my post-sex coma, I saw Ike’s home through new eyes. So there was no indoor plumbing. So what? I had a seven-foot gentle giant wrapped around me, holding me like he might never let go.

It was aight. The time period was oddly confusing. It sounded medieval, but then there were electronics and phrases like "marketable assets" and I was lost.
You kinda just roll with a lot of these issues in a smutty novella.
There is no magic or supernatural part in this story. Just some dumb villagers, a girl in the wrong place and time, and a really large hero living in the woods.

Jessa Kane honestly writes the most hilarious smut ever. It's so ridiculous- but in the best way possible. Ugh, it was so bad. But it was actually kinda amazing.
