I really liked this series. I would have loved more on the romance side from each book, but it was still really good. It also had a lot of unpredictability in it. I figured out the person funding Black Jacket once Kai was told to "follow the money." But there was a lot that I didn't even guess was going on, and 9 times out of 10, I always figure it out.

Kai Gabriel founder of Barracuda Security stumbles into a military conspiracy for the ages. Before he puts all of the pieces together his operatives and employees find their HEA. I suspected who the true mastermind was but the number of people involved required a Venn diagram. All the couples are alpha males who fall for strong women. There's plenty of sexy time. Be warned there may be triggers for some: domestic violence, sexual assault and child neglect or abuse.

Great box set
After I started to read the first book I knew I was stuck, I couldn't put it down so I got out my headphones and started cleaning my house. I went straight through the box set without pause. The characters were so real and the stories were so intriguing. My house is clean as is ever been and I'm looking for the next box set by th ok s author. Lol... better fine another project I've been procrastinating over.

Five stars all the way!
It was a wonderful delight getting to know the characters more in depth as each story unfold! The couples who came together was a surprise and so good for one another. The mystery and action continued til the end! The romance was well balanced with the mystery, intrigue and action to keep your interest throughout each story. It was encouraging to see this group of people become close friends and family!

An absolute favorite...👍
A hard book for me to put down. Kai was a favorite character. I enjoyed each new person and was happy as couples or together. Lilly was fun and I loved who she connected with. There was a lot going on for a small town. Appreciate the Author and how she kept my interest throughout the whole book💓📔

The story line is very interesting
It is a good series, which shocked me. I liked the fact that the sexual scenes were not too much. Some books contain no story and it’s just all intercourse scenes but this one managed to pull off a very good story, some romance and a little bit of the nitty gritty.

Another great series
Every book in this series gets better and better. With Kai and Brair, and don't forget Molly knocking it out of the park. Saving the best for last. All the excitement throughout the books and the twist at the end. Kept me entertained the entire journey through Barracuda Security.

Suspenseful. Very hard to put down
I chose 5stars because it probably the very best series I have ever read There is mystery suspense, love, betrayal, and and good in the same person. The storyline is face paced and exciting. The characters see how what we think we want is so much less than what we can, and do, receive. Awesome characters.

Good
This was a good box set. It definitely had a lot of twists in it. It is sad that people can be so greedy. To much of that goes on in this world. Their is nothing wrong with bettering yourself but never at the cost of other people's lives. That is wrong. I was proud because I guessed right who the mastermind was. Thank you.

Great box set!
I really enjoyed the books in this box set. The stories are not the typical “former military, now security” romances.
There are quite a few awkward sentences that interrupt the flow of reading.
Example:
1)[I hated silence when I was waiting for someone I didn’t hate to say something that had bearing on me and my future.]
What exactly does that mean?🤷🏻♀️

I wasnt sure I would like this book. I am glad to say I was proven wrong. Kai deserves his happiness as does the rest of the team. One big case,lots of lives changed forever!

Totally awesome job
I couldn't put it down. Each storyline had a great amount of mystery, drama,and romance. The author has done a great job with the characters. Our hero's return needs to be improved.😄😄😄

Good book set.
I wasn't sure I was going to like this set but it was actually pretty good as I read. A good series about choices we make in life and military action. I usually find sets a little lacking and don't finish but this one kept me reading.

Good Series
I loved how the stories picked up right where the last one ended. I loved the characters, the story line, the suspense, the fast paced action and the ending. I just wished Lily & her man got their ending also.

A terrific collection
This was a terrific collection of stories full of humor, love, angst, mystery, suspense, abuse, violence, and many unexpected twists. It's a series that you won't want to miss.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.

A riveting Book with 5 unique story with a woven thread thing them together - amazing on the Edge of yourself mystery & suspenseful!
This is 5 story that have suspense, mystery and a special operations like case. The underlying case that pulls throughout the five stories is a huge - epic story that hits its finally in the 5th story. Can you read independently absolutely! However all together awesome! Enjoyed this collection of the Barracuda Security especially that it was near Ft. Bragg. Was surprised at the end and truly was not expecting it. You need to read this series to see what I am talking about. Highly recommend

Well written and so easy to follow. Great characters, great individual stories with a common thread. You wouldn't read any of these as a standalone. Will definitely read more series from this author.

Overall, I enjoyed these books. There are many twists and surprises. The characters are believable. I agree with one bad guy's comments about how the government and military treat soldiers. The language is not necessary.

I really enjoyed these books!
What a great great to get all of these books together. Great for binge reading! I like these characters. What a mix and match group. All have their good points and all have their warts. They managed to pull together to create a family. I began to suspect the villain but not until the last book. Lots of twists. These guys barely caught a break and there was always someone waiting around the next corner! Can't wait for the next set.

Intense
From the beginning you didn’t know who were the good guys and who were the enemy. The story kept you wanting more so you can see who will win.
