Andrew Carr, Seal Team 3, after first deployment need some down time and heads to Florida to spend some time with his friend Cory from BUDs training who is on Seal Team 4 and recovering from injuries from his last deployment but what he gets is a mixed up mess and meets the woman of his dreams except she belongs to his buddy and code is hands off...

Aimee Greer has been in Sunset Beach trying to recover from the lost of her parents, a MIA brother that’s into drugs and alcohol and the stress of it all. She met Cory, started dating, maybe he is her forever but when his friend, Andy shows up...things change...

Fast paced, easy to read, having his Seal brother’s back but the question is...who will win Aimee’s heart??

While Andy is on leave, he decides to accept Cory’s, a fellow injured Navy SEAL, offer of staying with him in Florida as it sounds like exactly the break he needs. What he didn’t need was the complication of being attracted to Cory’s girlfriend Aimee.

Aimee is attracted to Andy as well but they are both about to realize that there is a lot more going on with Cory as well. Once all the truths are revealed is there any way for this situation to end other than in heartbreak?

Imagined feelings. A spark here, there and then betrayal. This was a slow smoldering story, but once the spark caught, the fire was consuming. I'm craving Sunset Beach!
Great characters in a believable setting. Awesome start to another series by an author who knows how to grab your attention!

I read this book in one day because once I started I could not stop reading. This book is about Andy, a Navy Seal who is invited to visit an injured and recovering fellow Seal on the Florida coast. When Andy gets to Cody's house he also meets Cody's girl, Aimee and her friend, Shelley. Andy tries his best to be interested in Shelley but he cannot seem to stop being drawn to Aimee. Cody, Andy, and Aimee do several things together, but everything comes to a traumatic end after they attend a wedding. Cody has to learn to be honest with himself and then others and he must seek help for his problems or risk being kicked out of the Seals. Andy tries to help Cody, hurts Aimee and himself, and then he must learn to make the most of the second chance that he is given. Aimee is resilient and although she is hurt by Cody, I think that she is more hurt by Andy and she will have to decide if he is worth taking a chance on plus Aimee will have to face the reality of her search for her missing brother. This book is well written and captured my attention from start to finish. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

This book is about Aimee who has a drug addicted brother named Logan who left home seven years before. Cory is the Navy SEAL who loves Aimee but starts to be seen to have problems with alcohol, drug. and sex addiction. Andy is a Navy SEAL friend of Cory's who is very attracted to Aimee but knows she is in a relationship with his friend. So there are really several stories going on. One story is of Aimee's relationship with Cory. Another story is of Andy being a loyal friend and trying to help Corey with his addictions and keep him faithful to Aimee. A third story is of Aimee searching for and trying to help her long-lost brother, Logan. But the biggest story comes by the end when Aimee and Andy realize they love each other. So there is lots going on as you read this book. Knowing the book was about Navy SEALS, I wished there had been some suspenseful actions, like Aimee finding herself in danger, maybe from her brother. But even without that the other things going on make it an interesting book.

But what he doesn't expect is to meet Aimee Greer who is Corey's girlfriend and be attracted to her. He knows to never fall in love with another SEALs girl its a solid rule that team mates never cross the line.
When he notices that something doesn't seem right with Corey he tries to shield Aimee from this but it has disaster written all over it.

Aimee Carr has come to the beach to heal her broken heart after her parents death and her missing brother. But when she thinks she thinks she sees him one night at a bar her mind is set trying to find him and find out why he left the family. But first she needs to heal her heart again after Corey admits that he needs help with his use of drugs and alcohol. Can she ignore the beginnings of feelings for Andy? Will she decide to stay in Florida?

Please note this isn't really a cliffhanger but Andy and Aimee's story continues on to House on Sunset Beach.

I understand that Andy and Aimee had this instant attraction, and didn't act on it when she was with Cory. I can only surmise that her relationship with Cory was not very serious to begin with seeing how it didn't take Aimee long to get over Cory.

My guess is that the code between "brothers" doesn't apply if a breakup occurs. It just seemed to me that Andy and Aimee's relationship heated up really fast and went to a totally different level after a VERY short period of time.

I am not sure about the reasoning behind Aimee seeing what she saw or her infatuation with the house. There was no cliffhanger to this book, but when it was done, I felt as though there were a number of loose ends.

If I am being completely honest, I'm not really feeling this book. It was Ok, but I didn't get a sense of any romance, chemistry, or sexual tension between Andy and Aimee. The words were there, but I didn't feel it. I wish I knew if their story was going to continue in another book, or if this was it.

Once again this author gives us a thought provoking story about the life of a Navy SEAL.
In the first book in this series, we meet Andrew Carr, a young SEAL back from his first deployment. His nightmares wake him up in the middle of the night. Maybe getting away during his two week leave will help him.
He decides to travel to Florida to visit his BUDs friend, Cory, who is recovering from an injury.
Once there, Andrew is faced with two problematic issues. One, his friend is friend is not dealing well with the injury and his demons and two , Andrew is attracted to Cory’s girlfriend, Aimee.
Though not my favorite story by this talented author, maybe because of the age group and Aimee’s character, it was a reminder that those brave men and women who are willing to give up their lives to keep us safe and in a free country, often suffer not only physical injuries but also emotional and/or psychological ones. We as a nation need to assist them more upon their return.

This is book one of a new series and I really enjoyed reading it. Andy's friend Cory damaged his arm and he asked Andy if he wanted to go and spend time together and catch up and Andy said yes. Andy couldn't believe his reaction and his feelings that he felt when he met Aimee Cory's girlfriend but the seal brothers have a motto and that is never go after there brother's girlfriends. Aimee's parents were killed by a drunk driver and so she decided to go to sunset beach to start a new life and then she met Cory. There are twists and turns along with many emotions that you have to keep turning the page's to see what happens next. Sharon is an amazing author and talented writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will not be disappointed. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Navy Seal Andy, from San Diego, goes to visit his Seal friend Cory on Florida’s gulf coast for leave. The second he meets Cory’s girlfriend Aimee, he is lost. But the code stands, you don’t mess with your brothers girls or wives. Cory is painfully healing from an injury on his last deployment and isn’t dealing with his painkillers and alcohol issues for fear of getting kicked out of Seals and possibly the Navy. Andy is stuck in the middle and is trying to get Cory the help he needs. It’s commendable that Andy is not only trying to get him help, but he stays with him to insure that he stays safe from harming himself. That’s a brother and Cory is lucky that Andy didn’t bail from the mess he created. I really like how Sharon has taken this serious problem of addiction and homelessness and treated it respectfully.

Not my favourite read by this author but still an enjoyable story. Although both Cory and Andie are Seals there is no miltitary action or deployments in this, it is vacation time for Andie and Cory is recuperating at the beach after injury. They went through training together but are on very different teams. Cory has serious issues with pain killers and booze, Andie notices that it is spiralling and risking both his job and his relationship. Aimee has been dating Cory and is becoming wary of his behaviour but meeting Andie there are sparks and attraction, the brotherhood code means they can't act on it. This was a steady plot, with a few interesting twists and an attraction that for most of the book is just looks or chatting. It's a good story but not as great as most of Sharon's books, I do have the rest of the series though so will be reading them as well.

SEALED AT SUNSET brings us more of SEAL Team 3 while introducing us to an idyllic and almost magical Florida beach. While I don’t know if you can attach those attributes to the real Sunset Beach, Florida, it makes for a perfect backdrop for Navy SEAL Andy Carr to meet the potential love of his life, Aimee Greer, if only she wasn’t already another SEAL brother’s girl. This is a touching and often heart-aching story that is sure to keep you entertained and totally involved from start to finish. There are many angst-filled moments with Andy’s brother SEAL and BF dealing with personal demons that could literally destroy his career and Aimee’s almost desperate search for her long-lost brother. It makes for a most interesting and engaging tale that is sure to keep you turning pages until the end.

This was a one sitting read. I love the turn that Ms. Hamilton's books have taken in the last couple of years. There are more real issues that face these current and veteran military personnel. Andy is taking a well deserved break after a tough assignment overseas. He goes to Florida for the first time and meets up with his buddy Cory. Cory seems to be in a relationship with Aimee and for the first couple of days, everything is great. One night though, everything falls apart.

I loved the interaction on the jogging runs, the people that Aimee passed, Phyllis, breakfast and the shopping experience.

Andy is a Seal, he has just finished his first deployment and is having trouble with bad dreams. He ends up staying with Cory one of his Seal buddies and Cory's girlfriend Aimee. He discovers that Cory is having problems with drugs and alcohol, so he tries to help his brother to overcome his addiction. Meanwhile him and Aimee start to develop feelings for eachother, feelings that neither are willing to act upon. Will Andy and Aimee act on their growing attraction?
This story was well written with great characters and a storyline that had plenty of emotions, drama, great interaction between the characters, chemistry and love.

Woah another heart pounding, nail biting romantic suspense that will have you turning the page dying to see what happens next! Andrew and Aimee story is jam-packed with plenty of heat, intensity, thrills, drama, action, danger, excitement and emotion! Great characters, fantastic storyline, well written, easy to read and flows seamlessly and will keep you turning the pages, just can’t ask for more. I’ve forgotten how fantastic this author is and how she has a great way of telling a story and bringing it to life in front of your eyes. Definitely be picking up more books by this author and re-reading the ones I already have too. Was a perfect escape from life and I can’t wait for he rest of the characters get their stories. Sharon Hamilton always has you falling in love with her characters and these three damaged souls are no different

Andy a Seal who has just returned from his first deployment and one that was particularly bad has been given leave to try to get his head straight from the recurrent dreams he is having He decides to visit a friend from Buds who is on a different team but is on medical leave What he discovers is a friend who is suffering and is self medicating with drugs and alcohol. That isn't the only problem Cory has a girlfriend one he doesn't treat that well in fact I get the impression they are more a convenience for one another but Andy spends time with Aimee and he is deeply attracted but can he steal his friends girl. You will have to read to see hoe the situation plays out.

An angsty SEAL romance. 💞❤️⚓💞

Andrew is home for his first deployment and decides to go visit his fellow SEAL, Cory. He knows that Cory has a girlfriend but she has her own place and he figures he can always head home if it's too awkward. But awkward doesn't even begin to cover things when he meets Cory's girlfriend, Aimee. And then sees how much Cory has changed since he saw him last. He knows he's fallen for Aimee but you "Don't poach on another Team Guy's girl." Even if she feels the same way... 💗🔥💕

I enjoyed reading this book even though it deals with cheating, to an extent. It's one of those times where the original couple is sort of toxic and the new couple is balanced.

The premise of this book was good...a SEAL takes some time off after a bad deployment to recharge while visiting his buddy, only to fall for the buddy’s girl. Andy was a good guy, trying to do the right thing while visiting his buddy Cory, who was also a little messed up from his own deployment and injury. Aimee, Cory’s girl, was just a little too nice, too sweet and a bit naive for the limited backstory we are given on her issues. The story seemed a bit disjointed and choppy in too many places, making it not hang together well. The characters displayed inconsistent behavior off and on, leaving me wondering....it wasn’t bad, just not as good as it could have been.

I was a little confused at the transition for Aimee and Andy to become more than friends and the ending seemed abrupt. A great new twist on boy meets girl who is in a relationship with a friend. You realize the minute Aimee meets Andrew/Andy that they are destined to be together except for one problem, she is already in a relationship with his SEAL buddy, Cory. The two develop a friendship but refuse to cross the line that would be inappropriate because a SEAL would never take another man's woman. Secrets Cory has been trying to hide are revealed and this seems to change the future for all of them. Will there be an HEA for any of them? Great book and an addictive series and I can't wait to read more about the Pink House and the residents and magic of Sunset Beach.

I’m a sucker for a hero in uniform. Give him demons to battle and I’ll be first in line putting on my Florence Nightengale cap to nurse him back to wholeness. That meant I was immediately drawn to Andy. I really liked the way this book handled the love triangle that was developing and the way it shows Andy’s commitment to honor his service-brother, the service, and this young woman he’d like to make an important part of his life. There were several clues that felt important in the moment and a couple of Aimee’s storylines that felt kind of abandoned at the end of this book. I’ve since learned that there is another book in the series that stars this leading couple and I’m very glad of it, because these two need a more fulfilling ending. I’m looking forward to reading what happens next.

Andy just finished his first deployment and is having problems with dreams. He is given two weeks leave so he goes to Florida to stay with another Seal and his girlfriend. Andy soon recognized that Cory is abusing alcohol and perhaps drugs. He takes a step back but keeps watch over Cory. Meanwhile And gets to know Aimee through morning runs, breakfast and simply talking. Andy realizes he is falling for Aimee which is a giant NO!

I felt badly for all three characters as they each struggle through their situation. Another great story by this author!

The book was well written, no obvious errors, grammatical errors, etc. I felt this start of the series was a bit weak. I never felt a real connection between Andy and Aimee. There wasn't much depth to the characters, so I never felt very invested with the story. I have to say I disliked Aimee, felt she was pretty shallow. She stayed with Cory so she could feel good again and once that relationship ended hopped into bed with his "brother" SEAL. I thought the author did address the problems Cory suffered from and felt that was the most interesting part of the book.

Andy has just returned from his first deployment, and is struggling with nightmares. Cory, his best friend during their training had joined a different team and injured his elbow during a training exercise and had three months to recover from the surgery. He invited Andy to come and spend sometime at the beach with him, and meet his girlfriend. Andy soon realises that he is attracted to Cory’s girlfriend Aimee, which is totally against the SEAL brotherhood code, and also that Cory is dependent on alcohol. This is a well written book, well worth reading.

While on vacation from SEAL duties, Andrew Carr decides to visit his injured buddy Cory Phillips in Florida just to find out he has more issues than the elbow injury he returned home with from his last mission. Seal Code: Don’t poach your buddies girl. That’s doesn’t stop Andy from being attracted to Aimee Greer, his buddy Cory’s girl though. When Cory leaves for Texas to get his head on straight, Aimee and Andy decide to take a chance on each other. This review describes what can really happen to our men and women coming home from difficult missions. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Very enjoyable read and start to a new series. Andy has to come to terms with what he wants and how to get there. Aimee has had a difficult history and has to come to terms with where she is and what she wants to move forward. Really liked the interaction between Andy and his friend and how he dealt with a difficult situation. Kudos for addressing an on going issue and in a very real way. Loved the setting for the book . Will definitely be waiting for more.

It had been a minute since I had read this author so I did not hesitate to venture in. Of course it contains one of my favorite guys which is Seals. This centers around Andrew and Aimee whom will have us seeing their relationship unfold but with ear marks of trouble. While he is trying to remember what not to do chemistry and time say something different. You keep a close eye on them to see what they will do especially since she has her mind made up. Drama also comes along with keeping us up close and personal. It keeps us interested until the end.
