I always wanted to learn Indian Constitution. In fact I have tried many times for that. But this subject seems to be bit hard for me. When I got this book, I had too many questions about my ability to successfully read this one. But every prejudices were shattered when I started reading the book.
It is only 62 pages and you have to know that this will only give a basic overview of the polity. It is an introductory book aimed to address every students who needs a basic understanding of polity. Through small stories, Mnemonic and tables, the author has created a new approach for understanding polity. I appreciate his effort to craft this helpful book. I really enjoyed reading and studying this one

The Constitution is the building block of democracy. However, it’s length doesn’t define that it is a small document to be read rather it is a document to be read, understood, elaborated and again understand.
Dr. Vinay has done a stupendous job in explaining this vast domain with the simplest language in the least length with the most details. There are tips and tricks to help you remember it as well. This has to be the best book to read and understand the Indian Constitution.

Its time to learn something about our rights and responsibilities.
As an Indian, it's our right to know about our rights and responsibilities. But somewhere we have brushed aside important information.
I must thank the author here, he came out with mnemonics and tricks to make us understand our Constitution and spread awareness of it. Well, we all have read civics in our childhood and some might be still studying. But we always took that as Mark scoring subject by remembering some numbers.
It's time to dive inside of it and get useful information.
We all know it's hard to understand constitutional rights. Here's the best part of it, the author has explained by taking school as examples and provided us with a mnemonic.

I would say this book is really helpful because it contains all the important things and that too elaborated in a wonderful way. Articles are explained in a easy manner and you won't feel like boring or hectic while reading.

Review- Polity Tricks is a very informative novel which throws light on the understanding of Indian Constitution. The author has made a great attempt in writing up a book which simplifies our perspective towards the formation and details of the Indian Constitution which we believe to be complex since we don’t have a better understanding on it. The book is well structured as it begins with tackling the question, why do we need the constitution and as the chapters ahead unfold the important elements of the constitution. The book gives the idea that mere mugging up doesn’t help and we can understand the true meaning of the constitution with understanding of each of its elements. The author has covered minute details with reference to the components of the constitution and elaborates everything in detail. From schedule to preamble all the important aspects of the constitution been briefly described in the book and one can truly connect to it as previously we just memorized everything without understanding it’s actual meaning. It is a short read hence readers can understand better without getting off track since the concept is a bit dry. Overall it was a good read as it highlights the essentials of the constitution.

As the title says, learn and remember the Indian Constitution. This book helps in understanding the concepts of Indian polity. It discusses various parts, articles and schedules of the Indian Constitution, but in a way that it makes the learning even more interesting. For instance, the book starts with an explanation about why we need a political system and the author takes an example of school administration system explaining the 12 parts of a real constitution. I'm a polity lover. So every book which contains constitutional or polity related content, I'm always on for it.
This book is just as easy as it's seems from the cover "Bright and simple" . It provides decent knowledge related to the constitution and author used easy language for this also. So the language of the whole book is very easy and understandable too. That's the main up edge for this book because if u want to know polity u don't just learn it, u have to understand it.
For a new reader who knew nothing about polity yet. This book surely compiles huge amount of information.
It has 62 pages overall so it's a short read and took me about 1 hr to go through it whole because I'm an polity veteran, whole book flows in front of my eyes very smoothly.
The book surely gives an extra push over anyone's knowledge for competition exam and also gives extra learning about knowing their own rights in society.
The flaws in this book is, some of the article's of constitution, important chapters of the polity and many knowledgeable facts about polity are missing in this book. And i didn't find the cover much impressive.
But overall when we look at the size of book, it's a compact book with full of knowledge and facts...

What attracted me here, was the bright Yellow cover! Though science says red is the color which catches your attention the most, I believe yellow is the color which subtly attracts one’s attention whereas red is quite pinching to the eye.
Anyhow, so the yellow cover of the book, strategically designed to attract the readers was what I loved about this book. But, I was in for a bigger surprise, when I saw how there’s been a use of mnemonics and riddles in the book. Extremely smartly, the author has turned such a bore subject into an interesting one! Super subtle there, author!
The book talks about Indian Polity, the constitution, the preamble, all civic subjects, but it’s so not like your school civics book, that big fat book with quite a few jumbled up alphabets that we all crammed up for our exams. Oh, how this makes me wish we had such authors back then. So yeah, the book is all about Polity tricks as the name suggests where the author has again, very smartly used the word tricks to give a slight hint of the use of mnemonics and tricks in the book to help us remember what the Indian polity is all about.
My favourite was the preamble part, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
If you wish to go for an unusual, unconventional read during the leftover time of this lockdown, pick this title up and enjoy it.

To be honest, it was fun to read this book. The terminology is extremely simple. The author has made sure that when people read this book they get a clear image.
