Ennis's run on Punisher had it's up and downs but mostly a good streak. Now we have 3 crime novist giving their take on the mad anti-hero. And they pretty much kept it alive even without Ennis.

'Girls in white dresses' somewhat reminded me of the 'seven samurai' plot. It was fun. It's like reading a hollywood action movie. The art was pretty decent too. Love his silhouette styled panels.

'Six Hours to Kill' is quite an interesting plot. If any hero had six hours to live, they go all out to get an antidote but not Frank Castle. He'd rather kill off more bad guys than find a cure for the poison. LOL. It was a really fun story. Ending was a disappointment though. Artwork looks good as well.

Now 'Welcome to the Bayou' is a big let down for Punisher's last issue. It's like The Punishet has gone to the horror genre. Hahaha

Overall it was a decent book and oh yeah, the cover art. Dont know who used to be the cover artist for Ennis but for this book, all the issues' cover were shit. Literally!

This is no Garth Ennis Punisher but Marvel tried to continue the series after he left. They had 3 different crime novelists take a swing at a different storyline each. They each have some strength and weaknesses to them.

"Girls in White Dresses" is a great story about an Mexican town who tries to get The Punisher to help them. It has great art and features an old foe. It has a great bit about what would happen if he ever accidentally killed an innocent.

"Six Hours To Die" is basically the plot to CRANK. I wasn't a big fan of the art or any of the villains were interesting.

"Welcome to the Bayou" had some great art and a really off the beat story for Frank Castle where he fights an inbred southern born family.
