Vossie’s tale of being alone and his project of building a friend become a powerful story that will reflect the reality of many primary school students. Viljoen’s own illustrations form a sumptuous backdrop for Vossie’s adventures. This should be bought and read widely.

This was a cute story and a lesson for parents to be more involved.
