I came to this because I'm interested in depictions of St. Jermone, patron saint of scholars and especially translators, and the book does provide a range of those, albeit in grainy reproductions. (I do understand that the book would have been prohibitively expensive with better prints.). The text is a quick overview drawn from scholarly sources that basically lists events, confirmed and possibly apocryphal, in Jerome's life.
