Tyse and Ellie have faced obstacles that could tear most couples apart. Between the ups and downs of a baseball career, personal hurdles, and an injury that put Tyse’s life on the line, struggles seem to hit hard and fast. Now that he’s back on the roster, things seem to be progressing well. Until Ellie discovers that Tyse keeps having setbacks with his health. He also might be remembering his past, and it’s not exactly a good thing. With a growing family, the pursuit of happiness seems bleak when all odds are stacked against them—especially when one of them begins to question the path they are on to begin with. Will they find their way through the turmoil and each achieve their goals? *Final Score is the last book in the Living the Game series*
Writer of sweet romances, cute love stories, happily ever after, etc, whatever you'd like to call it!
Inspiration comes in many forms, from raising a family to the amazing people I've come across in my life. I love to involve myself in charities, local and abroad, and I've witnessed an array of miracles upon doing so. I'm curious by nature and never stop learning. If someone asks me a question I cannot answer, I'll research it until I can!
I'm thankful for my friends and family-- they always amaze me. I'm especially grateful that they allow me the opportunity to put my thoughts into stories that others can read and (hopefully) enjoy!
Thanks for taking the time to check out my work. I appreciate your feedback.
Over ten years have passed since I first read Summer Swing and Just One Gift, and let me just say that in that time I've read those two books so many times! They've been some of my favorite go-to reads over the years, and that's saying something because I don't read NEAR as many books as I used to. I proudly have my paperback copies of my favorite works from Delia Delaney sitting on my bookshelf, and I always enjoy when I pick them up for another read.
When I learned that this third and final book had come out, I was SHOCKED! I mean, I really thought that the ending for Just One Gift was perfect. Just enough of an ending to allow my imagination to finish out the rest of the story however I desired.
Needless to say, I was hesitant to pick up Final Score when I heard about it.
Well...
Now I feel like a fool because I really enjoyed this book and I feel bad that I waited so long to finally purchase it and read it. My thanks to the author for releasing this third book and giving me more insight into the growth of Ellie and Tyse and their relationship together.
Life can be such a struggle sometimes, but it really is true that the people in our lives AND the love that we share with them is a wonderful gift from God that can help us through even the toughest seasons.
THANKS AGAIN TO THE AUTHOR FOR GIVING US THIS THIRD INSTALLMENT!
And I hope that if there are any of you out there who were like me and on the fence about this one that you won't hold out anymore. Read it! You won't be disappointed.
