I liked the summary of this one but in the end I didn’t like the authors writing style. There’s simply way too much descriptive writing. I mean there are pages of it and inner monologues. That’s just not my cuppa. I found myself skimming until I found dialogue.
I also didn’t like the beginning . I hate it when authors start the beginning with the middle. Like. Okay she wants to do him and let’s rewind! And start from the beginning. Ummm. No thanks

Absolutely fantastic! A well written emotionally deep romance. The storyline is flawless, funny, witty, enjoyable, and very interesting. The story flows smoothly and moves along at a brisk pace with a few ups and downs and a mix of emotions on every page. The chemistry between them is intense and their love scenes are beautifully written and HOT!

This was an enjoyable read. Veronica is trying to get her life together now that she is divorced from her creep of an ex. She now wants to have a baby. When she shows up to meet her new doctor she sees that it is Ted. They used to date in high school and neither got over each other. Thankfully they didn't waste their second chance and finally got their HEA.

Even though this had a lot of tropes I adore, there just wasn't enough depth for me to care about what was happening. Nice sex scenes though haha.

Sweet romance with steamy moments
This was a really romantic and steamy book. When Ted and Veronica remember past events, it is sweet but also HOT. It got better and better as I read. There were sad moments, HOT moments but also times when I could have strangled a character (not our H and h) and finally mental fist-pump moments.
Ted Winters is now a renowned OB/GYN with an infertility specialty. If you wanted to have a baby, he was your man…I mean, doctor. He had an abusive, drunken father and a mother who left him, which made him a very rebellious teen. Only one person loved him for who he was: Roni but she broke his heart.
Veronica DeMarcus wants to have a baby. She just got out of a bad marriage and wants to do things her way and by herself. No man needed! She gets an appointment with Dr. Winters only to discover that he was her teenage crush AND she is his Roni.
Wow! Just wow! Wonderful character development, poignant with just the right amount of steam. I like that Ms. Kaylee gave us a female character that finally gave herself a backbone. The stealthy scene toward the end was fabulous and I liked that Veronica was honest with Ted about Preston instead of unnecessarily extending the story. After all, honesty in a relationship is most important.
My only problem was the continued repetitions: we got that she was a pleaser, we got that she was sorry about her breakup with Ted in HS, we got that she was from high society and Ted was not, we got that she didn’t need expensive things etc, etc, etc. The rest of the story, especially the ending, bumped it up to a 5 from 4 stars. I volunteered to review an ARC of the book through Booksprout and it comes highly recommended.

This is book one in the Irtesistabke Dad series. This book starts this series off with a bang and very hotly. Meet Ted Winters, he has not always been the successful fertility doctor. Once upon a time ago, in high school, he was the bad boy from a family with no mom and his dad was an alcoholic. But one thing changed his whole life around, Veronica (Roni). She was from a wealthy family where certain behaviours and appearances were expected. They dated, secretly. And then one day Veronica did the unforgivable and was gone from Ted's life. As much as this sucked, this fueled Ted into the man he is today. One day as Ted is running around d crazily seeing all his patients, he walks into an exam room without reading the file too closely and surprise! There on the exam table is Roni.....Verinica......awkward. now, is where the story begins to unravel and get interesting. The chemistry between these two characters is still full steam ahead. Ted wants to help Veronica get pregnant but can he keep it professional? Can these two work through their past to a future? It's all in the amazing story this author has provided and the great characters that were created to inside to deliver this story in this book. Enjoy!

Ted had overcome his past, his abusive father, his mother’s abandonment and his broken heart. He channeled that need to prove himself into becoming one of the best fertility doctors around. He wanted to become a husband and father one day but he is extremely busy. Then one day he gets a blast from the past, he opens the exam room to find his high school sweetheart, Victoria, the very one who broke his heart so long ago. Although they don’t tell each other, the chemistry is still there.
This is one hot and sexy contemporary romance. The characters are well developed and likeable. There thoughts and feelings were outlined well in the narrative, allowing the reader to feel engaged with the characters and invested in the outcome of the story. Another brilliant steamy sweet romance from a fast favourite of mine I love Katy's books and this one was no exception

Now she is newly divorced after the marriage her parents encouraged has broken down after the so called perfect partner was nothing but an abusive cheater. The only thing is she really wants a baby so after thinking about it she decides to go the fertility clinic route by herself. Imagine her surprise when she discovers the owner and senior OBY at the clinic is non other than Ted the man whose heart she broke He may have come from an abusive family with a drunken father but he is now the best doctor for all fertility issues . As they reconnect the attraction between them is still as strong as ever but can he risk his career when after all she is his patient now will she finally stand up to her parents and take what she wants and will they get the HEA they deserve after all this time You will nee to read to see

This is a great story about high school sweet hearts who were forced to break up because he wasn't "good" enough for the girl.
Ted was crushed when Veronica broke up with him during prom. Veronica came from money and her family felt Ted wasn't the best choice for her, so listening to her mother Veronica breaks up with Ted and later marries someone who is abusive, mean and a cheater.
Ted goes on with his life and becomes a fertility specialist.
Their story picks up 10 plus years down the road when Veronica has finally divorced her abusive husband, but decides she wants to have a baby.. Veronica decides to see a fertility specialist and man is she surprised when the doctor that walks into exam room is her high school sweet heart.
Ted and Veronica's story is sweet and romantic and I love the way they find their way back to each other, but it doesn't come easy by any means! There is plenty of drama and angst. The chemistry between the main characters is great and the way Katy tells their story makes you feel like you're right their with them.

I throughly enjoyed this book about two people from different sides of the tracks coming together against all odd 10 years later. Veronica and Ted where college lovers and they shared many firsts with each other, but her parents where rich snobs and they had her life all planned out and the poor boyfriend Ted wasn’t included and Veronica was told to get rid of him and she did as she was told and after college she was then forced to marry Chad but it was never real love like she had with Ted but she stayed with chad until she couldn’t take anymore of his verbal abuse and cheating. Now with no one telling her what to do Veronica plans her future and that means getting the baby she always wanted but without a man by her side and that’s why she is at the best fertility clinic around waiting to see the doctor and who should walk in but Ted her ex boyfriend, now both of them are shocked to see each other after all this time and but still feel a pull towards one another but they stay the course and get through the medical exam and move forward to her dreams of having a baby. How can Veronica make things right between Ted and herself after what her parents made her do and can Ted make Veronica feel safe and loved and want a future with him, read this amazing book to find out.

The story takes off when they both decide to have dinner after visiting the donor clinic and having that fabulous tour. She lost friend and family in the end but was all well worth it. There is a happily ever after to this story but with heartache, depending on how you read it. This story has a good amount of drama and the realist of being someone that comes from old money to those that have new money.

Fast forward ten years later as Ted was now a well known fertility specialist and was surprised and thrilled to see Veronica in his office for a consultation.
Inner feelings erupt in them both as they reconnect both emotionally and physically.
Roni’s history had been rocky with cold manipulation and emotional abuse that turned physical. Her ex, Chad was a real piece of work and quite hateful. It took a while for Veronica to learn to stand up for herself after years of training to be a lady at all times.
I loved the way Ted became her champion and was able to give her the confidence she needed.
Super hot scenes between this very sweet couple. Enjoyable romance with no cheating, and a feel good happy ending!

Accidental Dad by Katy Kaylee is a wonderful contemporary romance. In this book, Veronica has just finalized her divorce with her abusive, cheating, high profile, rich ex-husband. She has decided that she is going to do the one thing that she wants more than anything and that is to have a baby. Since she has no partner in her life at this time she makes an appointment with the top fertility specialist in her area. When Veronica attends the appointment she discovers that the Doctor is her old high school boyfriend Ted Winters and that he is even better looking than he was in high school. The sparks begin to fly and this couple begins to renew their relationship with the possibility of a new permanent love affair. This book is a fast paced, funny, sweet, and entertaining read. It also has some scorching hot and steamy love scenes that really spiced up this book. Anyone looking for a great contemporary romance will love this book as much as I do. Accidental Dad is a wonderfully, sweet, and spicy contemporary love story.

Ted is a well known OB/GYN and fertility doctor. Veronica is tired of waiting for Mr. Right to come so she can get her happy family. She's decided to have her family on her terms. However neither her or Ted were prepare to be reunited when he walked into his exam room and she was there. Sparks flew between them and they both fight their growing attraction. Soon they are together and trying hard to figure out what they are to each other. When Veronica ends up pregnant she is worried because even though she wants the baby she isn't so sure about Ted. Will Ted claim his family? Or will they end up breaking up again?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Second chance for love
Ted is from the wrong side of the tracks but Veronica wanted him anyway. They were together in High School but her being from money, Ted didn't fit into her world so her parents thought. They both grew up went separate ways. Ted became a DR & Veronica married someone who was mental abusive. Once she was divorced & away from everything and finally being her own person. She finds herself in Ted's office wanting help getting pregnant. They rekindled their friendship which lead to more then that & well he helps her fulfill her wanting to be a mother. He had always worshiped her & showed her what its like to be treated with respect. So even though separated when in school they were brought together to both have a second chance.

Class in the mind of beholder? Veronica and Ted had history. They were together in high school. Roni was from money. Ted was from the wrong side of the tracks. Her mom made her break up with Ted. They reconnected when she decided she wanted a baby and visited his practice not knowing it was her lost love! Can he forgive her? Can she convince him she has matured and knows her own mind? Is the magic still there? Will Ted let her back in? Will they have a smoother journey since they are older and wiser? When do characters ever? The journey is bumpy, hot, curvy and wild. Well, I will say one thing about Katy Kaylee’s Accidental Dad (The Irresistible Daddies Book 1), the series title certainly is “truth in advertising” as I don’t know how anyone could resist the dad in this book, Doctor Ted Winters, certainly is irresistible. I love the accidental baby trope almost as much as the second chance romance trope. To find one (really well written) perfectly plotted example of both? Bliss. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

What a good quick read! I there was a good plot and good characters in this story. Veronica was definitely a strong woman who forgot that. After getting out of an abusive marriage she decides to rebuild her life. I like how she slowly finds herself again and in the process she finds Ted again. The man she wronged in her past and who she truly loved. It could have gone sappy but it didn’t. I liked how it all came together in the end, Veronica got the baby she wanted and she got the man she wanted. She found herself and she turned her life around. Overall, good book. I would recommend and read again.

The story of Veronica and Ted is a second chance love story where both of them have to get through a painful past, attempts at blacmail, going agains high society and getting to know each other again! Even though there is a lot happening in this story, I loved that Veronica and Ted were so open with each other and talked about what was going on instead of hiding things from each other which is so often the story line in these kinds of stories!

The first book in a new series, "Accidental Dad" was absolutely delightful! A sweet and steamy second chance romance, with lots of heart and hard truths. The happily ever after could be described as bittersweet. Don't get me wrong! There is a happily ever after, but the decision the FMC had to make to get there... Let's just say I don't know what I'd do if I was in her place...

Nice story but way too much narration of what was going through the character's head. Had to skim through many paragraphs.
