Re-edited Korey: Ten years, no sex, no man, no relationship to protect my kids, doesn’t sound too bad right? I figured it would be easy to keep after being burned by my ex. But when I meet Brick, gawd the sexy behemoth of a man. A real man who cares deeply for his MC brothers, who has stolen my son’s heart and given my daughter something to look forward to, and who is my new boss. My ten years keep counting down to doomsday. Can I make it? Can I keep my vow, or will doomsday come before I can stop it? Hell, do I want to stop it? Giving in for a one-night stand, that was all it was supposed to be, now that I have tasted the goods, can I stop from going back for more?
Brick: My life is great, being the President of a club that my father before me was as well. Blaze my best friend my club brother and VP of the club drops a bombshell on me. His sister is coming to live in my old apartment above my tattoo shop. I give the woman a job, as my secretary. But damn I try to keep my mind off her, but when I get her on the back of my bike, sh*t goes south, and I do something I should have never done. When she tells me she doesn’t do relationships, my mind is made up I have to have more of her all of her.
Warning this book is meant for readers over the age of 18 due to explicit sex scenes, some violence, and bad language.
I’ve had this on my TBR for a bit. I finally went back to it based on a recommendation from a FB group. It was really hard to finish this book. Not for the story line, but for the editing. This book had no proofreading or editing done on it. With the book I read, there was no way this was edited or proof-read. There were mistakes of some grammatical, spelling or word choice. One of the supporting characters had his name spelled three different ways. At one point in the story, the lead lady says she’s waiting 10 years to get into a relationship. Then says 3 years have passed. Then says she’s got 4 years, then back to 10. It got real confusing.
The story is what got me to finish. Sort of. I mainly read it for the single mom meets alpha male and falls in love. He ends up loving her kids and they love him.
This one took me a while to get into. I really thought about DNF within the first chapter after hearing the principal talk to Korey. I decided to stick with it and began to like the characters and the other brothers.

Oh my goodness, this is the worst book ever. No editing at all. The grammar, sentence structure, and spelling is horrible. Just a few examples from the end of chapter 5 to the beginning of chapter 6: segregate mom’s that don’t judge (supposed to be surrogate); not a big as Houston; that I wasn’t any of my business; I head a deep voice ask; I asked I made me a little giddy knowing that no one had my tiger running around; I didn’t plan on tell her that I had it done; appointment block (book) Unfortunately, I didn’t read the entire book because these errors were causing a brain bleed. Don’t waist your time.
Loved it ! I liked the writing, loved the flow, loved the storyline. Editing could use some work, but for a first time author hats off to you ! I will be following your books, I have already downloaded Tank. Well done !
Omg sweet and hot .... I seriously need more. and good lessons in life. Accepting people for WHO they are not what they look like.. The story is so good I couldn't put it down
