Oh my! Lauren Blakely once again makes my heart go pitter-patter with a hero that takes me off to swoon-land. I loved EVERYTHING about Satisfaction Guaranteed from the characters to the flirty dialogue to their professions that shape who they are. This second-chance rom-com is the whole kit and caboodle and then some!
Malone and Sloane (best names ever!) are perfection! Malone is the perfect hero in every way. He's truly magnetic and one-of-a-kind. The way he cares for humans and his non-human patients is an absolute delight. As he sang the old standards, I could practically hear his voice leaping off the page. The imagery that Blakely evokes with this story is a thing of beauty. Sloane was sweet and fun with just the right amount of spicy which made her a perfect match for Malone. Together they were the ultimate couple. I loved their easy banter and dialogue. These two characters played so well off of each other. There were deliciously sexy encounters that were scorching hot as well as swoon-worthy scenes that made me woozy. I just loved Malone and Sloane!
With old favorites popping in for visits, Blakely connects Satisfaction Guaranteed to former books as she often does in her stories. While it was a treat to reconnect with these characters, it's important to know that this story is a complete standalone. Another bonus.....it's told from the male POV which is something I adore! And finally, Blakely gives us a taste of one of her upcoming books enabling us to get excited for what's to come (as if we weren't already). Satisfaction Guaranteed is as exactly as the title states. Trust me, you'll love it! 5 stars

Oh, how fun it was to return to the Big Rock world by Lauren Blakely. So exciting to see old faces and learn how integral a few of them are to this new story. Malone Goodman, is a good man(pun totally intended). Malone is currently the junior partner in a Veterinary Clinic and a lounge singer who loves the classics. Sinatra (Chairman of the Board) is he absolute favorite. Seven years ago Malone had a fling with the very sexy Sloane Elizabeth. She turns out to be the daughter of his business partner. She is also the one who Malone is unable to stop thinking about even after 7 years. Just when Malone thinks his partner is going to retire he gets side swiped by the fact that Sloane will now be running her animal rescue business from the vet clinic. With all the sexual tension and chemistry running rampant between these two, they decide that they need one more night together. Malone discovers a very well kept secret that Sloane has been hiding. Malone offers to help her overcome this dilemma. Will Malone be successful in his endeavors to help Sloane achieve success with his promise of “satisfaction guaranteed”? Will these two ever see that their feelings for each other are very very mutual? Is Sloane’s dad too big of an obstacle for these two to find a way to overcome and still be together, satisfaction guaranteed? This book is told mainly from Malone’s POV(totally loved it). Occasionally, you will here from Sloane. Which is very cool and important for the story. I so love these hard working “real” characters from Lauren Blakely. Her characters are funny, strong, smart, hard-working, handsome/beautiful, and so very family oriented. I love that about a Lauren Blakely book. Satisfaction Guaranteed is the newest installment of the Big Rock series. Almost forgot to mention that Lauren is very good at creating a very very steamy time between the sheets. If you are looking for a fun escape to another world then I will guarantee your satisfaction will be met by reading Lauren Blakely’s Satisfaction Guaranteed. Soane and Malone’s story is a fun read that I had a hard time putting down. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to animal rescue organizations. Yes, yes, yes!!!!
Satisfaction is well and truly guaranteed in this story by my all time fav author, Lauren Blakely. She does more than what it says on the tin. Sloane and Malone were the sweetest couple who belonged together, no matter what.
They met seven years ago, when Malone had graduated from vet school and Sloane was just twenty-two. Malone was a bit older and when he found out his new boss was also Sloane’s father, he broke off their one wonderous week affair.
But, he never forgot about the girl he let go. Now, she’s back. In his work space and in his head… can he have her in his bed and his life too. He was warned off Sloane by his boss when he first started working for Doug. He’s spent a long time becoming the man he is today. Could they have it all?
Malone was quite a guy. He’s hot, smolderingly so. He can sing, oh, boy can he sing. He’s a crooner at heart and makes you want to did out all the oldies. Plus, he loves animals and… he adores Malone.
The feeling is returned big time, this girl has spent the last seven years fantasizing about her one week love affair. I was rooting for them from start to finish. Can I just please get my own Malone right now?!
First of all before my review even begins I have to send praises to Lauren Blakely. She is a magician of a writer, her stories always bring a smile to my face and make me crave more. If there is one author I can always count on providing it is Lauren, she is my very own Satisfaction Guaranteed author!
Now to Malone and Sloane's story, (yes their names rhyme and it's hillairous).
Malone and Sloane have a little complicated story, having met seven years ago and spent a week in paradise getting to know each other their growing relationship had to fade away when Malone got a job at a veterinarian practise where his business partner just happens to be his 1-week in heaven girl's father.
Years later they bump into one another and it's just so happens that the spark has not died between them. However paired with some smooth flirting and a situation that puts the closely together it fits the cards that they should at least try to ease the sizzling fire trying to ignite between them.
Sloane is working on becoming an Animal Rescuer and with the help of her father she is being able to pursue that dream of hers but with Malone coming along the way she can't help caving into some of her desires.
The story takes you on a hillariously, sweet journey. I could not put it down needed more from these character and it most certainly helped we got to see previous characters from other loved novels of Big Rock and Mister O.
Lauren Blakely ensures that Malone and Sloane are done justice and are able to find that satisfaction they've been craving for years. Along with humour and heart there is nothing more you could what from this novel other than possibly a story about Malone's sister and best friend which luckily will be provided in Instant Gratification.
Nevertheless, Lauren Blakely provides, provides and most certainly leaves you with a story that is satisfaction guaranteed.

Have mercy! I devoured this one. Funny. Sweet. SEXY. So very sexy. Malone is a literal dream. An angelic voice, loyal friend and son, and a top veterinarian. Sloane never stood a chance when she met him seven years ago. When she begins sharing his space at work, their electric chemistry is enough to burn down the joint.
I wouldn’t change anything about this book. Enjoyable read from start to finish.

One of the reasons Lauren Blakely is a one-click author for me is because she writes characters that are both relatable and loveable. I adored everything about Satisfaction Guaranteed. It’s a second chance forbidden romance between Sloane Elizabeth, who runs a foundation and animal rescue, and Malone Goodman, a compassionate Veterinarian.
They have known each other for years, have so much in common, and are absolutely perfect for one another! But they have one big obstacle in their way–her father! Good old dad is also a Vet, as well as Malone’s mentor and business partner.
I love their flirty banter, how sincere they are, and how much they genuinely like each other and build each other up. They don’t play games or pretend to be someone they’re not. They’re not players and only have eyes for each other which is so refreshing in a romance novel. I love how they reconnect and their friendship slowly builds, and how insanely hot they are together. It’s obvious from their conversations that their feelings are genuine and that their desire has been burning for many, many years.
What’s so great about this book is that their feelings are mutual. There is no unrequited love as they make it known in no uncertain terms how much they want each other. They not only share a physical connection but an emotional connection as well and are true soul mates.
I have read every book by Lauren Blakely and was so excited that certain characters appeared from her previous standalones as friends or cousins with Malone! This book is also told entirely from his point of view with “notes to self” from Sloane which were so fun to read. Lauren has such a great sense of humor that always comes out in her characters.
Sloan is a woman I admire. She’s educated, devoted to helping others, a great daughter and friend, she doesn’t take herself too seriously, and she is honest to the bone. She reveals her greatest vulnerability to Malone and he handles it like a champ. Malone is enamored with her beauty and her brains, and plans such fun adventures for both of them. Their love story is a true romance.
She, too, is so very thoughtful remembering his favorite dish, surprising him with a special date night, and being his #1 fan when he sings on stage, a hobby that she fully encouraged knowing it makes him happy. Sparks fly the entire time these two are together and I just love their HEA and the several, yes several, epilogues that the author surprises us with! I always imagine what will happen next when a book ends and Lauren doesn’t make us guess because she gifts us with a glimpse into their future.
There are great supporting characters in Satisfaction Guaranteed, especially his twin sister, Truly, who will be featured in an upcoming book. If you love swoon-worthy heroes and heroines who are strong and independent while reaching for their goals, then this book is a MUST READ!

Sometimes you need something, in my case a book, to just hit you right.
Going into this book, The cover definitely had me. I was smitten with it.
Lately my life has been a roller coaster. Many ups and many downs. With saying this, I needed a drama free read, one that didn't have "too" much lightness though. I got it with this read. I adored Malone & Sloane, I completely and utterly swooned for Malone. He was everything wrapped up in a nice package.
There were parts of this story I could have just skimmed through, but I didn't. I took it all in.
If you want an easy, quick, laugh out loud, and drama free read, here you go. This should be next on your list😍😘😍

Lauren Blakely knows how to write the perfect man. Dr. Malone Goodman is practically perfect in every way and I devoured Satisfaction Guaranteed in just one sitting.
Satisfaction Guaranteed is dirty and perfect in the best ways possible. Blakely hit this one out of the ballpark!
Lauren Blakely serves up Satisfaction Guaranteed with her ever present charm and humor.
"It's not a huge deal that you revealed you stalk him. And hey, he keeps tabs on you too. You're just a couple of stalkers."
Between all the schmexy time and adorable animals, since both Malone and Sloane work with animals, you will also love the wit and banter between everyone that comes and goes throughout their daily lives. Lauren Blakely really does deliver it all.
And did I mention how steamy this book is? Hold on to your panties, because you might need to change a few. Whew!!

Dr. Goodman and Sloane Elizabeth have aced Chemistry 101, they are absolutely electric.
They find themselves working together after Sloane's father brings her business, an animal rescue, in to work side by side with their already thriving veterinarian business. Malone has thought about Sloane for years, but was told by his business partner at his time of hire that his daughter was off limits. Malone liked his job and therefore stayed away, but the attraction has always been there. Now, it's years later and they are working in close quarters, the sexual tension is palpable and soon neither can stay away.
Seven years of waiting...I'll just say...it's combustible.
If you love Lauren Blakely and you love a good book, then you will love Satisfaction Guaranteed.

I know I say this a lot, but what a wonderful story. I listened to the audiobook, and had the fortune to hear Andi Arndt work her usual romantic magic. For me, Jason Clarke was the treat with this tale. He ticks all the boxes with his panty-melting voice and wide range of talent. From the great w/animals and their people veterinarian, to the boss to his vet techs, to my favorite sultry, seductive, raspy tone he only shares with Sloane, Dr. Malone Goodman is a man of many talents.
Having met a few years prior, Malone and Sloane are kind of forced into close quarters. While their chemistry is off the charts, Malone’s focus is building the vet practice with his partner. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but for reasons you’ll see, Malone and Sloane can’t be together...yet.
And if all that melty goodness wasn’t enough, Dr. Goodman sings—very well. I love how Lauren Blakely adds a new element to a beautifully romantic story. Love songs, wonderfully performed by Jason Clarke. He’s so talented, and I’m so happy to be witness to his rising star. I can’t wait to hear Jason’s beautiful voice again. Hopefully, we’ll get more from Malone and Sloane.

Satisfaction Guaranteed had all of the makings of a quick funny sexy and emotional read. Smart attractive characters with witty personalities, a splash of a forbidden romance that could have been catastrophic if things took a wrong turn and a second chance of having something that you knew that you were meant to have.
Malone Goodman is one of the best Vet in his field. His love and care for animals is like no other and being good at his job is extremely important to him. Hoping to take over his mentor and boss’s vet clinic in the near future, Malone knows that everything has to go smoothly and his biggest challenge of all is going to be keeping his hands off the boss’s daughter. But when the work environment quickly takes a new turn, staying away from the woman who has been in his fantasy is going to be a lot more difficult.
First off let me just say that I liked certain parts of this story and it was a quick read. I loved how Sloane and Malone both had a love for animals and that was their bond. Their interactions came off as pure and it felt effortless with them. But…. I had some issues and I felt like something major was missing. It took me a while to get into this one if I’m being honest and I never fully connected with the main characters. A few things were a little too cheesy for me and I was more interested in the side characters and what was going to happen with them so that did hinder my reading experience a little bit.
If you’re looking for a light drama free romance read, then this one is for you.

And Lauren does it once again! Yet another couple that will steal your heart away!! 5 rescue pet stars for this one!!
Meet Malone, a vet in practice with Doug, and older gentleman who took Malone on when he was fresh out of Vet school. Malone wants to take over the practice, as Doug is spending less time there. When Doug calls a dinner meeting Malone is sure he's selling the practice to him, what he doesn't figure in is Doug bringing his daughter Sloane's rescue organization into the practice. No big deal right? Except these two have met before, spent a week enjoying each other till Malone realized it was Doug's daughter.
These two try to be platonic, but the fire that stirs between them is wild. When she confess's her sexual problem to Malone, he takes it upon himself to help her over her "thing". Can they keep the strong feelings they have for each other out of the challenge Sloane & Malone have going? You'll need to read along and find out!

Sloane has a big heart and wants to save all the strays. She's beautiful inside and out, but has a hard time getting out of her own head. Their spark was instantaneous and never burned out despite time or distance.
But as they're getting in deeper, their problems aren't just going to go away. The conflict that Malone has been fighting all along is not changing.
This book is witty, romantic, and full of sexual tension. It is a male point of view story, but Sloane's voice is heard in some special ways. There are fun cameos and some of their friends will be familiar to Lauren Blakely fans. I enjoyed all of the side characters. I really liked her bestie, Piper, so I hope we might hear more from her in another book.
I liked that Malone and Sloane were mature and there was not a lot of unnecessary relationship angst and in-fighting. They challenged and pushed each other to follow their personal dreams and not settle. They really were compatible and passionate together. But is there a way for them to overcome the obstacles that have been keeping them apart?

This does not work for me at all. The premise, I mean. They've been into each other for seven years. They both know it. They had a fling but then Malone met her dad on a job interview that went well. So they're partners. And the first thing dad says is something like "hands off my daughter". Which is stupid. Malone's good enough to be his business partner, but not good enough for his girl? And I'm barely holding on hoping that there's more to it, like that dad is a father figure or somehow worth the sacrifice of someone who is obviously compatible and wonderful. But no. We meet him and he's an insensitive douche who is on his fifth wife who he says is great for reasons that are mildly misogynistic and wholly shallow.
So the whole conflict is going to be an unrealistic and interfering dictate by a cumquat who should be laughed at every time the topic of women comes up. Dude, find a partner that isn't a flaming crappile and date the girl anyway. Or confront the douchecanoe for being a flaming crappile and tell him to go hang. Oh, and see if you can't figure out how he's managed to raise a great daughter despite being a waste of skin, himself.

I didn't really love the blurb - it doesn't sound like it was written for the story. And the 'challenge' she issued was more or less issued by him and not her - plus it doesn't happen until after the middle of the book! Very weird blurb.
And the story was a bit like that too. I loved it. I loved the people in it. I loved the male POV and the little chapters from Sloane's mind. But it was a bit slow in the beginning and a bit fast toward the end. Plus all that 'old' music was just so not my thing.
It also wasn't as funny as I'd hoped it would be.
But it was a really sweet romance.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED was a funny & adorable love story full of animals and music and sexy lessons! Run to your nearest amazon asap for your own Malone - this one is MINE !!!

One word? 𝗦𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗡
Yet again, Ms. Blakely has gone and written a book that had me weak at the knees, swooning and sighing happily. Normally I am a dark romance girl. But lately I've found myself gravitating towards lighter reads, and Lauren is known for her amazing, fun, swoony, hot as hell, witty and hilarious reads and Satisfaction Guaranteed was just that and 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘.
A male POV read? YES YES YES! Loved it. More than love it! Devoured every single word. I've read a few male POV reads but nothing has and I don't think ever will measure up to A Lauren Blakely book, read in male POV. The author is flawless, and she delivers them amazingly. Quite literally has me weak at the knees.
Satisfaction Guaranteed is a second chance romance filled with swoon-worthy scenes and she bought back some old favorites faces but had a whole new twist for this plot.

I am such a Lauren Blakely fan and I feel like the title Satisfaction Guaranteed really tells the tale about what you can expect from one of her books. I loved that we revisited some of the people we know from her previous Big Rock series coupled with a second chance romance!
Malone Goodman is the junior partner at the veterinary clinic where he has worked for the last seven years. He is not only wonderful to the animals he cares for each day, but also to their owners and anyone else he comes in contact with. He's smart, sexy and he also has a deep love of the old standards and he sings every now and then at a local haunt.
Sloane Elizabeth is the woman that caught Malone's eye one night seven years ago when he was singing. She's sweet and sexy and the two of them hit it off immediately and they spent a fantastic week together. When Malone went in for his job interview, he quickly realized that while Sloane was the woman he wanted to pursue, he couldn't because she was his new bosses daughter.
Here we are seven years later and while Malone thinks about Sloane often, he knows that nothing can come of it. When the two of them are brought together by her father bringing her pet rescue into the vet clinic, not only do Malone and Sloane see one another, they are now going to see one another EVERY DAY.
For two people who clearly have off the charts chemistry and who bring out the best in the other, will they get a real chance at happily ever after or will circumstances continue to keep them apart?
As Blakely has a penchant for doing, the dialogue in this story was smart, flirtatious and fun. It was full of great banter and with her descriptions, you felt like you were absolutely immersed in the story. I highly recommend picking this title up and I'm really looking forward to the next one in this series!

Lauren Blakely never fails to deliver a fun and cute romance for me. Malone and Sloane's relationship gave me just what I wanted and I loved how easy their connection was. Sometimes you just need a book that's drama free and will keep a smile on your face the whole day. That's this book! It was quirky, and yes a little cheesy at times, but it was never too much and it felt natural to these characters. Together they were adorable and it was really great to read.
Overall, if you're looking for a book that you can just sit and enjoy, and laugh with, this is the one you want to pick up. And like always, Ms. Blakely has left me needing more from the secondary characters so I'm really looking forward to the next book.

Listeners really need to prepare themselves for this audiobook. Jason Clarke’s performance as Malone is going to melt your panties right off! WOW! I was already a huge fan of Jason Clarke, but he is even more talented than I imagined! He voices so many characters so effortlessly, and I love the emotion that he puts into his performance. You can honestly hear the smile in his voice and he actually performs 7 songs on this audiobook! This isn’t a duet narration, but there are moments (for example in text messages and the incredible epilogue) where more than one narrator performs. Andi Arndt is fantastic as always (she even sings a little!), but she isn’t featured as much because this is mainly a male POV book. The extended epilogue (which is slightly different from the ebook version to incorporate the music) was such a fun treat and I loved how the songs were woven seamlessly into the story and highlighted special moments. The audiobook also includes sneak peeks of Instant Gratification and Never Have I Ever, as well as the novella Sweet Desire (which is part of Blakely’s Sinful Nights series). If you were a fan of Lauren Blakely's Big Rock series, you are going to love Satisfaction Guaranteed!

I loved how from the start our hero and heroine only have eyes for each other. 7 years may have passed, but their attraction and chemistry is just as strong as it was when they first met. Malone and Sloane were amazing together and I appreciated that they were both mature adults who were open and honest with each other. Yes, there are some missteps along the way, but the obstacles they faced were realistic and understandable.
Malone is one of Lauren Blakely's swooniest heroes ever! He's smart, funny, kind, loves animals, respectful, sings, and is gorgeous. When he sang "Wonderful Tonight" to Sloane, I was a puddle on the floor. *SWOON* What impressed me most about him though, was his reaction to Sloane's "thing". I don't think most guys would be able to put their ego aside and 1) be as understanding and patient and 2) devote themselves so fully to overcoming it. I really couldn't help but root for Malone and Sloane to finally find their HEA.
The cameos by previous characters from Lauren Blakely's other books (like Big Rock and Mister O) were such a treat and I always love those little Easter eggs. They bring all the characters and worlds together in such a fun way. I'm really looking forward to the next book, Instant Gratification, which features Malone's sister, Truly, and his best friend, Jason. If you were a fan of Lauren Blakely's Big Rock series, you are going to love Satisfaction Guaranteed!

Don't go too fast...
I really enjoyed the very original and entertaining, Satisfaction Guaranteed. This is the first time I've experienced singing in my audiobook listening and I quite enjoyed it. My advice, though is to get your speed right. If you're like me and have your speed set at 1.65 - 1.75 or faster, the background music will not be in sync. My first thoughts were that he was purposely playing the piano bad as part of the storyline. But the punchline never came. This had me stopping and wondering and I eventually slowed it down to 1. Holy shamoly...their talking was so slow that if I had to listen to a whole story at that speed, I'd fall asleep.
Normally, I wouldn't like a storyline where the hero or heroine put their career before love. In this case, I got it. He was a young guy with a budding career, a dream to fulfil, and a passion to be the best veterinarian he could be. Yes, he knew there were sparks and a very deep connection, but he also knew that if the time was right, he could find her. Their time was finally RIGHT NOW!
Another original was that this story was more about the hero than the heroine. Again, normally I would struggle with this as I like to "play the part" of the heroine. We still get the heroines thoughts and feelings but it was snippets like we would normally get for the hero. Like a romance reversal.
I thoroughly enjoyed Satisfaction Guaranteed but one of the epilogues was a little too cheesy for me. The singing was fantastic and Jason Clarke has an amazing voice, but the cheesy dialogue in between made me roll my eyes just a wee bit.

We want what we can’t have, Malone and Sloane circle each other and their chemistry is off the charts. But they both respect her father who is also Malone business partner too much to start something.
Years go by and they are connecting again only it’s not as easy to stay away this time. That chemistry thing ;) is biting them in the butts.
I love the way this book made me feel, Malone takes his career seriously but also knows what he wants and is willing to fight for it. I find this admirable.
I love books where you can just enjoy the simplicity of the story and the tone, Sigh, I was left smiling and wanting more.
I loved the narration, Jason Clarke’s voice I swear to god, and he can SING too! I mean DEAD, just DEAD. Andi is a pro and I adore her voice.

The story of Sloane and Malone continues after their brief introduction in Delayed Satisfaction. It’s been a while since they last saw each other and Malone is still working for Sloane’s father. The simmering attraction is still there and he is hoping that once her father takes a more hands off approach things could potentially change for the better for them both.
Therefore Malone is shocked when Sloane joins the company, meaning he is around her way more than was expecting. Temptation is knocking on their doors daily and it eventually proves too hard to resist.
Sloane has an issue that Malone is determined to rectify and he is going to enjoy proving her wrong. After all when it comes to matters of the sexualy kind, satisfaction is always guaranteed :)

Just what the doctor ordered! Such a clever and charming tale of true love. All the oldies but goodies woven throughout spoke to my love of music. The socks! Oh those socks! Two fabulously entertaining main characters who share a love of animals with a secondary cast of helpful friends and family members who help pull it altogether into one extremely fun-to-read romantic comedy.

4.25 she-faked-it stars (5 for the audiobook, 3.5 for the book)
The audiobook was really good. 5* for that. It has some duet narration but is mostly told in the MMCs perspective. Jason Clarke’s the narrator and he sings really well! The audiobook even has a ton of songs added at the end, after the epilogues, that aren’t part of the ebook. All romantic songs too. I really enjoyed listening to him sing; it’s also duet narration style when he’s talking to the FMC at the end (played by Andi Arndt). And it also has a snippet of book 2, Jason and Truly‘s book.
In this book, I felt like I missed some information because Malone (35) still thinks about Sloane (29). I didn’t realize that there’s a book .5 that I should’ve read before I started this one (I’ll read it after. It’s also duet narration). In that book, it takes place seven years before this one, when they had their fling, a no-smex one. They connected but they separated because Malone is Sloane‘s dad‘s business partner, and her dad basically told him that his daughter is “hands off” to him.
So for seven years, they both thought of each other but never kept in touch. They both saw and dated other people, nothing serious, but they tried to move on with their lives. However, they still want each other even after all this time.
She comes back into his life because she’s going to be working for their practice. She does animal rescue and he’s a vet. Perfect. Once they’re in each others faces again, sparks fly🔥. They kiss, which leads to 😉🔥.
Once they go to the hotel, it’s passionate and intense. It all seems to be going well… until the moment of truth comes (ahem or doesn’t I should say lol) and Malone realizes that Sloane faked it 😅😬. He finds out she never has been able to O during smex. So what does he wanna do?
Yeah… he’s gonna show her how to get the big O during smexx. This was very 🔥💦. He has to find what works for her in order to get here there. Go Malone 😅😉.
This is low angst luckily, a perfect quick read. I listened to the audiobook and can’t wait to listen to book 2 (duet narration with a whole cast of people doing various parts). I liked this. I think it could’ve used more details, but it was decent.

Lauren has done it again. This was a second chance story about Malone and Sloane. They met 7 years ago but once he found out that she was the daughter of his new boss he put a halt to things. 7 years later, she is back in his life. They try to stay away from each other but their chemistry is off the charts and it keeps pulling them towards each other. They finally give in to the chemistry and let me say it was off the charts. I loved this story so much. You will want to one click this book. It will be worth it.

Oy, this is a hard one to write.
For the first time ever, I didn't completely love a Lauren Blakely book.
Don't get me wrong, I liked it, I just didn't love it.
It could just be the head space I was in, having a stupid head cold and everything was just blegh, but I know that this is an anomoly.
The first 20% of the book, to me, I just couldn't get in to. This never happens with me and LB. I did get into it after that point.
However, to me, nothing really happened. I didn't really get into the Malone and Sloane thing - I was more interested in his sister Truly and what was going to happen with her story later on.
Ugh, I know this makes it sound like the book was horrible and that I hated it, but that is not it at all.
Take these as the ramblings of someone who can't breathe properly at the moment!
I know this is going to be just a case of it's me, not the book. I will go back and read this book later on and I am sure I will like it better.
I am really looking forward to the next book.

There aren’t enough all-male-POV rom-coms in the world. I could probably list the ones I’ve read off the top of my head and most of them would be by Lauren Blakely, who is particularly adept at writing through the perspective of the opposite sex. Her all-male-POV books like Big Rock, Well Hung, and now, Satisfaction Guaranteed, are immeasurably fun, quick-witted, deliciously naughty reads – all with a sexy, swoon-worthy hero delivering the story. With Satisfaction Guaranteed, the title pretty much says it all: this book is a lighthearted, steamy rom-com that’s guaranteed to leave you satisfied.
Part workplace romance and part second chance romance, Satisfaction Guaranteed reunites old flames, Dr. Malone Goodman and Sloan Elizabeth, when Malone's business partner houses his daughter's new pet rescue business at their veterinarian clinic. Did I mention Sloan is his partner's daughter? When Malone discovered this fact shortly after he started seeing Elizabeth seven years prior, the two went their separate ways, although they were never far from each other's thoughts. When they see each other again, all the lingering feelings and unresolved issues between them reignite.
