REV Warriors #5

Retribution

Rate this book
It’s the dawn of the new age for mankind … if we can survive.
Beaten back to the very gates of Earth, the Human race is on the brink of extinction.
Only the Super-Human REVs can save the species.

International bestselling science fiction author T.R. Harris presents the fifth volume in his epic Military/Space Opera series detailing the future of warfare ... and the destiny of mankind.

The REV Warriors Series Book 5: REV: Retribution

After a devastating loss to the alien Antaere, the forces of Earth have been driven back to the Solar System, to wait helplessly while the aliens muster enough strength to make one final push.

Now the salvation of the Human race lies with Captain Zac Murphy and his natural REVs, the unforeseen byproducts of an experiment using super-enhanced Marines as the ultimate killing machines. With the Human military now reduced to a shadow of its former self, the REV super-warriors must pull triple duty as they form an invincible defensive shield for the planet. And not only that, but they need to beat back the aliens, eliminating their threat once and for all. Only then will mankind have a future. If not, then we die.

This is the pivotal book in the series, the one where we find out if mankind will survive … or will we excel as the ultimate victors. At the moment, our prospects don’t look too good.

And the key to our success is dependent on the secret work carried out by Dr. David Cross and his quest to develop a new kind of man … and woman. Here we’re introduced to Sergeant Joanie Hollis, soon to become the first female REV. Her contributions to the survival of the species are nothing less than epic.

The story of the REVs expands in REV: Retribution. And as with all the books in the REV Warriors Series, this is a story of plots and sub-plots, interstellar intrigue and political maneuverings. And throughout it all … incredible battles against aliens on a dozen exotic worlds. But when you’re an engineered superman—stronger, faster and more durable than the enemy—nothing is beyond your abilities. Or is it? Marine Captain Zac Murphy is about to find out.

The REV Warriors Series was created for the fans of T.R. Harris and his other popular space opera series, The Human Chronicles Saga, featuring his larger-than-life hero Adam Cain. If you like stories about Super Humans, large scale military operations against deadly aliens, mech warriors and just plain old shoot-em-up science fiction adventure, then the REV series is for you.

Best Soap in Print

The REV series is a tightly woven story with characters one can readily identify with. The superman aspect is intriguing and I'm looking forward to see what Mr. Harris does with it. Shades of the 1930's? Hmmmm.

Good story that continnnuuuueeess. Forever???

I really hate it when it seems that a writer keeps dragging out a series. Even when good. This book sounded as though it would end it. Not. And the Joker of Diamonds was left hanging, did he get his?? Hopefully someday.

Such a fantastic adventure

So many twists with the outcome not obvious and includes surprises that make the need to continue the series a must
