Kate Burrows is a new-to-me author that I had the opportunity to read her new book, Repurposed. After seeing the adorable cover and reading the blurb, I was excited to get started.
Claire is the owner of a successful home decor store where she knows how to make something broken new. But when she inherits her Grandmothers run-down farmhouse, she realizes it may be more than she can handle. Enter extremely attractive carpenter Mason who starts to shake up Claires safe and predictable life.
I loved the idea for the story! Think prequel to Chip and Joanna Gaines life before Fixer Upper. What surprised me the most is how sweet this book is. There are some sexy scenes, but they are pretty demure compared to what I usually read. This wasn't a turn off for me, but I would say the steaminess level was PG.
Overall I thought this was a charming and enjoyable read. A solid a four stars!

it’s been awhile since I read a light-hearted romance book without adding any suspense or other elements. This was just a straight forward love story but how much did I enjoyed it. I was missing all the longing and sexual tension blooming between characters. It reminded why I love romantic novels!

While yes it’s a story about boy meets girl, they fall in love, and live happily ever after, the story is filled with so much more. The writing is beautiful and Claire’s entrepreneurship and dedication it’s truly inspiring. Mason was a true gentleman and super charming. The story really enveloped me and made me feel all the emotions!

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when starting this book but boy was I pleasantly surprised! This book gave me all the feels. This book has the perfect balance between love + intimacy. It was all about patience, understanding, love all wrapped up in an adorable story. Honestly, it feels so good to know there are men out there that can be patient with you and don’t give up on you no matter how hard you push them, my husband being one. I truly loved this book & can’t wait to get my hands on some more of Kate Burrow’s books!

After reading Heart of Cole by Kate Burrows, I knew I had to go back and read her first book. I must say, I will keep on reading anything else she writes for sure!

Claire is a fiercely independent woman. She and her best friend own a repurposed furniture business together. When her grandmother passes away she inherits the farmhouse she grew up in. It has fallen into some disrepair so the older gentleman down the road offers to do the work for her. When he gets hurt one day, he recommends his talented and extremely attractive nephew to finish the job.
When Mason starts working at Claire’s house the heat and fireworks are immediate! She has some trust issues that made me want to scream at her a few times because Mason is a first class book boyfriend! He is patient and sweet and there is never any doubt of his feelings for her.
This was a great, quick read and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a really good romance!

Sweet read for romance lovers!

Claire is a strong and self-sufficient woman who has spent years building up walls against even the possibility of love. That all changes when she meets a handsome stranger who ends up helping her restore the farmhouse she has inherited.

Mason is an absolute dream! I just love a romance where the man falls first and does everything he can to show just how much he cares for the person he loves!

Kate is a new author for me and I have already added her other books to my infinite TBR!

Claire renovates, restores, and repurposes to help stock her store. When she inherits her grandmother's old house, those skills allow her to do much of the renovation work herself. Mason shows up to do the heavy work on Claire's house when his uncle is injured. He needs a date for a family dinner; she doesn't do relationships. She wants friends with benefits; he wants commitment and monogamy. These two have incredible chemistry together, which Mason is aware of, and Claire would be as well if she wasn't so busy keeping herself in denial. This has been a great book to read. The characters and story are so believable, and it's very well written - I could visualize what was being done at her house. Mason is such a gentleman, willing to wait until Claire's "ready" - a trait not frequently found. This is my first read from this author - looking forward to more of her work.

A truly emotional and romantic story. 💞💓😍💞

Claire has everything she needs right now. She co-owns her home furnishing shop that she loves with her best friend, Rylie. She's inherited her Grandmother's home and enough cash to remodel it to fit her and it has a shop at the back where she builds more furniture and things for her shop. She's already decided that marriage isn't for her when she meets Mason. So, she decides to have a fling with him and to let him be her first. But Mason wants more than a sexy fling with Claire. 💗🔥💕

This book is the perfect mixture of love and intimacy. Claire co-owns a home decor store and Mason is a carpenter who's subbing for his uncle at her newly inherited farmhouse.
Men meets woman, they fall for each other, and a HEA but there's so much more.
