Very difficult reading. Published regularly, it seems. It updates to include current events. Last published account--Obama is still running as a candidate.
It summarizes global situations from various perspectives. I gave up after about 1/3 of the way. Will pick it up later in life, I guess.
A comprehensive, if slightly out-dated overview (published in 2008) of contemporary issues confronting our world. The book is written for politics students, so it does presuppose some prior knowledge, but I am sure any politically aware person can benefit from it.
