These are poems that are about certain aspects in my life that I have went through that I feel others can relate to. Whether heartache, loss,happiness or love this is a poetry book of many things. Reality does bite but we all have too deal with it in our own way.

About the author

Ryan Grey is a quiet, well-reserved man that writes sinfully romantic to deadly reads. He has published over a dozen books since June 10th, 2019 and has no signs of slowing down. What little spare time he does have is devoted to his child and writing. His child is his main source of inspiration and drive to achieve his life goals. Everyday life in the Carolinas influences his writing tremendously and make each of his characters uniquely relatable. He believes to make the perfect character one must add flaws to each individual. No matter if you’re into dark romance, poetry, paranormal romance, thrillers, or horror there’s a book to be found with Ryan Grey.

A Roller Coaster ride of emotions

Ryan Grey is a success again in his second book of poetry, Reality Bites. From the first poem to the last, he pulls you into each part of his life, love, lust, loss and joy. I have to be honest. When I first read this book, I was a jumbled mess. I felt anger, despair, excitement and such deep affection and love. I hurt. I laughed. I smiled through tears of joy while reading about his love for his kiddo. I truly loved this second book of poems. It demonstrates his flair of creative style, and shows his gift for taking you on a journey where Reality Bites. I highly recommend this book, and I suggest you grab a box of tissues and read it twice. Bravo Mr Grey. I look forward to continue reading any of your future work.

This second book of poetry, by Ryan Grey, is absolutely amazing!!! It’s filled with so much heartfelt emotions, you can’t help but feel the words as they pour off the pages. The poems are filled with joy and sadness, pleasure and pain, light and darkness, love and hope for what the future holds. With each of his poetry books we get to see inside the man.
A rollercoaster of emotions... carrying us along as he tells his story.
So many of these resonated wirh me.
From the haunting Not Alone and Worthy?
To the heartfelt What does one do.
To my kiddo with love made my heart melt.
My dream... gave me a look into the man.

Brilliant words that touch you

Mr. Grey is a phenomenal writer and poet.
This book spoke to me on so many levels.
I felt every word, every emotion he was writing.
