The Peng Society for Gentlemen — a secret friend-making club for the homos*xual men of the Great Xia Dynasty. Its services were designed to help its members along in their quest for their lifelong partners. Upon paying a monthly fee of fifty coins, members could get themselves listed in The Pengornisseur after providing a self-portrait, a mailing address, their age and hobbies, as well as a self-introduction. All members would receive a copy of the monthly publication, and they could communicate with one another in private using the information in The Pengornisseur.
Wu Xingzi, a bachelor about to turn forty, worked as the adviser to the magistrate in Qingcheng County.
Qingcheng County was a place with barely any resources. In other words, it was poor. In the list of counties of the Great Xia Dynasty, it had been ranked at the bottom for the past two hundred years.
Wu Xingzi felt that his life was hopeless: not only was he a homosexual, he was also a virg*n. Even his retirement fund was lacking. Worse still, his looks were… forgettable.
He might as well die.

Si quieres leer un danmei +18 muy explícito y con mucha comedia, estás en el lugar correcto. Aún asi, es bueno advertir que hay partes que son un tanto fuertes o que pueden ser algo desagradable o incómodo de leer.
Cuando empecé el libro estuve muy impresionada porque literal es la primera vez que leo algo MUY EXPLÍCITO y parecía que todo iba muy rápido entre nuestros protagonistas. Pero, a medida que vas leyendo te encuentras con un montón de sorpresas que te hace engancharte más con la historia y por supuesto las risas aquí no faltan.
Le tengo mucho cariño a Wu Xingzi, nuestra vieja codorniz, a pesar de que por momentos me mataba de la risa (principalmente por su amor por los pengornis), habían otros en los que me dejaba con la boca abierta ante la forma en cómo veía y enfrentaba las cosas. En el caso de Guan Shanjin, varias veces quería pegarle, hacerle funcionar esas neuronas y decirle EL PODER DE LA COMUNICACIÓN LO PUEDE TODO, NO SEAS PENDEJO

Quiero confesar que esperaba saber qué pasó con Rancui y Hei'er, porque esa tensión que se tienen no puede pasar por desapercibido.

as expected the premise is hilarious and i got attached to the main character very soon into the novel, he's really endearing and i really wanted him to have some fun on "grindr" (which was hilarious to see because instead of instant messaging they have letters but actually what they send is.,, well u know. dick portraits FDHSLFHS) but it wasn't too long until he found his actual love interest, the general....and i really despise him? i understand from tweets that he's getting his redemption arc and maybe there's some potential there but since the translation isn't complete and i don't find myself reaching for this novel often unless i force myself to i've decided it's best to give up now.
(also the sex scene are kind of comparable in how bad they are with other cnovels I've read, with all the tropes i personally hate PLUS some really gross stuff, and the translators did a good job at marking NSFW chapters - which are MANY - and providing warnings for the more disturbing stuff, but seeing how frequent the nsfw chapters seem to be i don't think this novel is going to do it for me)

We never learned if something happened between Rancui and Hei'er 🥺 Also, I was convinced we'll meet the founder of the Peng society and his lover? But we never did? These two lose threads annoy me.
Overall, I don't have much to say about it. I had fun time reading it (mostly), the writting irritated me quite often, the character too in the beginning.
I have all of my thoughts in the progress updates so I won't repeat them here but I gotta say: if Seven Seas wanted to translate a smutty danmei, couldn't they find a better one?! With better smut, better characters and better writing... especially writing.
And since all my review are basically notes to my future self: I read this on a whimp. I saw that Seven Seas has licensed this novel and I eventually became intrigued. However, soon after that I learned the author is homophobic (how ironic) and transphobic so I decided I don't want to support them by buying the books. Since there was no point in waiting for it to be published I went looking for the fan translation. (It's entirely another matter that I started the book because I had the strong urge to throw myself in an epic fantasy series

Tengo un conflicto con este libro.
No se lo recomiendo a todos (lo que me genera conflicto).

El Sr. Wu es el perfecto M para el S del General (I guess..).
Me parece que es la primera vez que leo un BL (en novela, manga, manhua y manwha), en la que el shou, literalmente, NO TIENE NADA DE ESPECIAL. Es mayor (tiene 40), no es guapo, es muy delgado, no es inteligente, no es listo, es muy indiferente a todo... Todo lo "normal" que puedan imaginar, es el shou. No digo que sea algo malo, sino que fue muy refrescante y a la ves mmmm raro (?).
La historia es muy linda, incluso el personaje del Sr. Wu me hace acongojarme y sentirme triste. Una persona que por la soledad decide dar fin a su vida y confesarse. Dedicar su vida para comprar una porción de tierra para que lo entierren y su tumba.
Una de las cosas que más me gustó es la metáfora de los dibujos de los pengornis (que en el libro no es metáfora, pero en la vida real, los pengornis son todo lo que amas y te gusta) y de cómo estos son un consuelo para el Sr. Wu.
Mis pengornis son los libros. Los libros fueron mi salvación en momentos difíciles, así que entiendo el dolor de cuando el General empieza a romperlos y la desesperación del Sr. Wu.
Una novela extremadamente puerca 🙊😂, gracias autora-San, nunca olvidaré esas 3 escenas de Deepthroat 🙈.

YGMCT was a complete pleasant surprise. When I heard that people referred to it as the "Historical Grindr novel" I was a bit apprehensive; but after finding out what the context was, I was just amused the whole time.
The MC, Wu Xingzi, is a lonely, almost 40-year-old homosexual virgin who works as an adviser in a small poor county. He gets introduced to the Peng Society, which is essentially a country-wide society for gay men to meet future life partners (or just hook ups) via their book, the Pengornisseur. He sends his first few letters to men based on their profiles and is shocked to receive messages back containing only drawings of... pengornises (insert eggplant emoji). And thus begins his adventure of discarding his goal to find a life partner and replacing that with the goal of collecting various pengornis drawings to keep him company instead, and quietly resting in peace in the grave plot he bought years back.
Beyond the absolute whack premise of this book (and the ridiculous number of kinky sex scenes between the MC and ML, which I usually would not complain about but some of them got really redundant so I ended up skimming past the latter ones) is the underlying thread of loneliness that the author, Hei Dan Bai, nuances so well. Wu Xingzi may seem nonchalant when it comes to the ML's advances, but his reasons and history for being that way is so human that it really struck a cord with me.
YGMCT is a relatively light-hearted novel, about 70% of it is just straight up smut with drama but the latter parts where were the political intrigue really happened, which was exciting. It was fun seeing the ML and his associates be cunning and twisty, and for Wu Xingzi to open up and show the cleverness that he hides behind his shyness (he wasn’t the magistrate’s adviser for 20 years for nothing).
Admittedly, the ending was a bit unsatisfactory for me, I felt that some people (Mr. Lu) did not get the ending that they deserved but I enjoyed the overall experience, nonetheless. (Would have loved to see more of Rancui and Hei'er though, they just disappeared towards the end and I was left wanting more of their story.) And I really applaud the translator/s of YGMCT, they did an incredible job on it.

I haven’t finished reading it but it gets boring pretty quickly. The protagonist is very dense and obsessed with penises, he really doesn’t care about anything else. The general is pretty bad too... violent and insufferable.

Me fascinó. Todos los clichés que me encantan estaban aquí. Que, si no te gusta lo cliché porque lo consideras de "mala calidad", mejor ni leas.
Chuchas, me tardé en terminar el tercer libro, pero por fin concluí los tres.
Me encantó, sabes. Para definir la novela en pocas palabras, deberá decir que es "la fantasía homoerotica más deliciosa que he leído con los clichés que amo del 'yaoi' clásico". No puedo evitar decir "gracias por la comida", porque estuvo EXQUISITO.
Amé muchísimo a Wu Xingzi, al principio de me daba mucha pena pero luego se va convirtiendo en un hombre emocionalmente fuerte que ama los PEGORNIS, especialmente el de su marido. E imaginarlo comer como un pequeño hamster y revivir sus ridiculeses nata de su torpeza, ay, lo amo. Es un hombre listo y valiente que sabe lo que hace pero su naturaleza genti y sincera nubla a primera vista su inteligencia, lo cual terminó cobrando al señor Lu y Yun.
Uff, ni hablar de Guan Shanjin que los primeros dos libros lo odié muchísimo, y sólo estaba feliz que su verga hiciera feliz a mi bb Wu Xingzi, pero después se vuelve el esclavo de su esposito y me llegó a agradar el hombre.
Es una historia muy disfrutable si te gusta el típico Top rígido y frío que sólo se vuelve una masita por su Bottom twink, porque sí, para mí, WU XINGZI ES EL TWINK MÁS PREICIOSO QUE HASTA AHORA HE LEÍDO.
Claro, su relación no termina allí. Ambos comienzan a entenderse a partir del tercer libro, se abren y confían y a mí realmente me encantaba leer sus momentos acaramelados. Dios, fue bellísimo.
Hubo unas cosas que no me gustaron, podría ser el tema delicado del suicidio, siento un gran vacío al leer cómo Wu Xingzi lo había superado por leer... Porno, eh, EH, me gustó, sé que es fantasía y si mi bb quiere superar su depresión con pitos dibujados, yo feliz. Sólo es una sensación extraña.
Ah, también me hubiera gustado ver si Rancui y Hei're terminaban en algo, ¡había demasiada tensión allí! ¡SÓLO NECESITABA DOS EXTRAS, AUTOR! ¡DOS EXTRAS! Ah, también quería conocer al dueño del segundo dibujo que Wu Xingzi quería. Pero bueno.

omg this book.
First, I want to mention that this is R18+, meaning that it has a lot of NSFW scenes.
Okay now with the real review, I like this book very much.
It was just so... okay it made me laugh a lot, it made me cry a little, but above everything, it has the perfect balance between a great plot and the nsfw scenes.
The plot was successfully accomplished with no loopholes left and the characters were perfectly written, we get to see Wu Xingzi’s POV as well as Guan Shanjin’s and a little of the side characters.
Really enjoyed reading this, everyone who find this the summary good should definitely give it a chance.

Save your money on this one folks. The lgbtq+ taq is just for show - the author is a homophobic, racist terf that only wrote BL for the money. There are way better danmei out there that you can support.

DNF at 10%
I wanted to give this a go before the paperback gets released by 7seas later this year. Definitely not worth the time or money.
I hate the non con sex and I'm not finding it funny. I don't like the characters and the ML is the worst.

I came for the smut and stayed for the story.
This novel probably has the most explicit smut scenes among novels that I've read in the danmei genre. Like, the smut was on par with those that I've read in fanfiction because it was well written and very detailed. As for whether I liked how the smut was written or not, well. I guess it was okay, there were some tropes that I wasn't a huge fan of but I'm not here to kink shame 😂
Wu Xingzi (MC) was an almost 40-year-old virgin who met Guan Shanjin (ML) while on his way to sign up for the traditional Chinese version of grindr. Even though WXZ was someone who was older, shyer and more awkward but he was also honest, principled, straightforward and had gone through many things in life, which made him a dimensional character. And GSJ was younger but he was headstrong and loyal and even though he was a massive fuckboy in the beginning, he ended up doing the MC right.
Honestly, the white moonlight element whereby GSJ took WXZ as a substitute for his first love was rather unexpected but the angst resulting from it was so good. My heart actually ached when WXZ rationalised that he and GSJ would never end up together anyway, that what they had was just a tryst because he believed that he was too old and ugly to be loved. At first, I was like there's no way this is the ML because he made me go :/ but then again, WXZ knew what he liked and wanted which were food and pretty men so he didn't fall for the ML's charms until the second half of the story so that was something I liked too.
WXZ was a very lonely man and had no obligations so he was ready to commit suicide when he turned 40. This is something that was mentioned quite often in the novel and I liked how the author wrote about loneliness and mortality in such a frank way. The character development for both MC and ML was something that made me happy, especially how WXZ learned to open his heart and accept the love that he was given, while GSJ finally opened his eyes and realised that he had put his first love on a pedestal and the person he truly loved was WXZ.
I liked the side characters too because they were there for WXZ when he was being ignored by GSJ in the beginning. The side characters really helped to bring out more sides to both the MC and ML and made the story more enjoyable because don't get me wrong, the smut was great but if the story consisted of just the MC and ML going at each other, I would've gotten bored eventually and to be honest, I didn't feel an ounce of boredom while reading this. Instead, I couldn't put it down and had no choice but to binge read it.
This novel probably has the most explicit smut scenes among novels that I've read in the danmei genre. Like, the smut was on par with those that I've read in fanfiction because it was well written and very detailed. As for whether I liked how the smut was written or not, well. I guess it was okay, there were some tropes that I wasn't a huge fan of but I'm not here to kink shame 😂
Wu Xingzi (MC) was an almost 40-year-old virgin who met Guan Shanjin (ML) while on his way to sign up for the traditional Chinese version of grindr. Even though WXZ was someone who was older, shyer and more awkward but he was also honest, principled, straightforward and had gone through many things in life, which made him a dimensional character. And GSJ was younger but he was headstrong and loyal and even though he was a massive fuckboy in the beginning, he ended up doing the MC right.
Honestly, the white moonlight element whereby GSJ took WXZ as a substitute for his first love was rather unexpected but the angst resulting from it was so good. My heart actually ached when WXZ rationalised that he and GSJ would never end up together anyway, that what they had was just a tryst because he believed that he was too old and ugly to be loved. At first, I was like there's no way this is the ML because he made me go :/ but then again, WXZ knew what he liked and wanted which were food and pretty men so he didn't fall for the ML's charms until the second half of the story so that was something I liked too.
WXZ was a very lonely man and had no obligations so he was ready to commit suicide when he turned 40. This is something that was mentioned quite often in the novel and I liked how the author wrote about loneliness and mortality in such a frank way. The character development for both MC and ML was something that made me happy, especially how WXZ learned to open his heart and accept the love that he was given, while GSJ finally opened his eyes and realised that he had put his first love on a pedestal and the person he truly loved was WXZ.
I liked the side characters too because they were there for WXZ when he was being ignored by GSJ in the beginning. While I was originally drawn to the series because of the premise being amusing in a sort of ancient twist on Grindr, it read very much like someone who does not understand actual men's anatomy and gay sex and more like fanfiction I've read. Sex scenes were alright, but some aspects broke my immersion and made it hard to enjoy the content itself. The author also seems afraid to use anything besides her in-world euphemism for penis which added to the juvenile, fanfiction like language.
While I'll probably end up finishing the series because I'm interested in the actual plot, I'm not terribly invested in the main couple and am suspicious of the intentions of the author after reading about her views on real world lgbt+ issues once I finished the novel. I did rate purely based on the book itself as it was an alright read and did make me laugh a few times. In all, proceed with caution as this isn't quite the fun romp I was expecting. If you aren't looking for something with much depth and realism, this may be a good quick and dirty read, but don't expect the same level of story you will get from most other danmei.

Ну что же, время подвести итоги. Были ли на эту новеллу у меня большие ожидания? Возможно да, ведь аннотация была весьма неоднозначной, интригующей, но с тем определенно забавной.
Сюжет неторопливо знакомит нас с главным героем - Ву Син Цзы, советником магистрата отдаленного округа, и автор описывает его как абсолютно обычного и ничем непримечательного человека во всех смыслах, но этот добродушный и немного стеснительный персонаж очень уж полюбился, особенно в дальнейшем, когда он проявил интересные черты своего «я» (а ещё нам показали его нереальную любовь к разнообразным блюдам и страсть к коллекционированию 😁). Хоть их отношения с генералом развивается довольно предсказуемо, однако не можешь не сопереживать за сердце советника Ву, очень уж хотелось для него наконец побольше заботы и искренних чувств от любимого человека.
В этой истории нет замысловатой завязки и динамичного повествования, большая часть новеллы - приятные праздные дни, которые герои проводили вместе и лишь во второй половине появились интриги, начали раскрываться интересные детали касаемо персонажей и какие мотивы были у каждой стороны. Но даже несмотря на это, интерес читать дальше был и как раз он подгонял к всё новой и новой главе.
Ещё в новелле поджидают много, очень много глав с откровенными сценами, которые пестрят местами несуразными сравнениями и предложениями, уж не знаю это особенность стиля автора, либо же приукрашенные детали от переводчика, но читать такое… вначале я не была готова от слова совсем, это был просто испанский стыд, нервный смех и мысли «почему я всё ещё это читаю?!», а дальше происходящее только набирало обороты и в какой-то момент нужно было либо пролистать эти моменты, либо смириться, поднять себе настроение и просто от души посмеяться (мой выбор пал на второе, настроение поднять оказалось проще простого, но на слово «птенец» я пока не смогу спокойно реагировать 🙂).

Si quieren leer esta historia deben saber que es de temática BDSM, aunque no se llegue a mencionar en ninguna parte. Nuestros protagonistas son S y M respectivamente.
La historia en sí no está mal, pero tampoco está tan bien... Aunque tengo que decir que me reí muchísimo y morí de vergüenza de segunda mano un buen puñado de veces. Eso sí, me súper enganche a la trama y amé a los personajes. En especial a Wu Xingzi, nuestro querido M. Aunque también me cayeron bien varios personajes secundarios.
Hay muchas cosas que podrían tomarse a discusión de la novela (celos excesivos, agresividad, posesividad, etc) pero no tengo ganas de mencionarlas detalladamente aunque si hayan tenido influencia en la calificación.
En fin, no es una novela especial, pero tampoco es una novela común del montón. Tiene algo que la diferencia de las otras, pero no puedo poner mi dedo en ese algo... Algo en el diseño de personajes, maybe.

It was a light and fun read. I think the most interesting thing about the novel is that it gives us an unconventional MC in the danmei universe: he's older, he's not handsome and he's not brilliant. He is just an ordinary person, but with a strong sense of morality and correctness, as well as an unfiltered honesty capable of providing some of the most comical moments in the novel. The plot also has an interesting paradox: MC's self-esteem is so low that he immediately accepts that he could not become ML's partner, and therefore he does not harbor any romantic intentions towards ML, which makes ML feel snubbed, arousing his interest in the unattractive MC. It's a novel full of smut scenes, and they are very, very graphic. Although they are well written, sometimes you can feel it's too much, not because of the explicitly, but because at some point it becomes a little repetitive. But not enough repetitive to spoil the read. Compared to other danmei novels, it's not very long, so it's a good option for a short, light and not presumptuous read.

Goofy as hell. Essentially a Grindr hookup and a collection of dick pics set in ancient China.
Was not expecting the smut to be as wild as it was and some of the kinks were a jumpscare (not complaining, simply reviewing) but overall enjoyable. It is extremely clear that the author has no concept of how human anatomy or gay sex works which made the sex scenes pretty laughable but I can suspend my disbelief to enjoy a story.
The main character is lovable and is someone that’s rarely seen in a romance novel so I adored him. The love interest pissed me off for most of the book but I did end up liking him in the end, so I’ll give him a B for character development. Overall review: Heartwarming, extremely dirty, funny.

Todo lo que tenía que ver con el sexo era medio asqueroso y cliché y lo odie (me terminaba saltando esas escenas). El resto de la trama y la comedia y los personajes, 10/10 excelente servicio, me reí mucho con todos los enredos.

I kind of loved this? The premise itself was unique and hilarious and I really enjoyed the personality of both main characters. And I loved that it was a slow burn. Lots of danmei get sickly sweet after the two main characters get together but in this one, they had what Wu Xingzi assumed was a one night stand super early on so there was a lot of smut but still a lot of relationship development (and of course lots of sickly sweet doting). I loved that Xingzi, despite being seen as ordinary and simple, was still really clear headed from the beginning of their relationship that it was only going to be fling. The ending did drag a little but overall, really enjoyed it!

Dios mío, tengo muchísimas cosas para decir de esta historia, primero que nada es una historia buenísima, muy ligera, llena de momentos súper cómicos y con muy poco drama, en comparación con otras novelas, no le doy el 5 completo solo porque definitivamente me quedaron algunos huecos y algunas preguntas, además de que sentí que todo el contexto político se resolvió mucho más rápido de lo que esperaba, y por supuesto alguna pequeñas incongruencias que encontré, pero a parte de eso ¡Que espectáculo de novela!.
Sinceramente soy mucho de amar a los shou re inteligentes y aunque Wu Xingzi no sea una belleza excepcional, sin duda es uno de los más inteligentes, puros y hasta cierto punto inocentes que he leído, amé su impactante honestidad, su personalidad es muy fresca y aunque no se guarda nada, también sabe ser muy prudente, y siempre es muy genuino, es casi incapaz de mentir y eso se me hace re tierno.
Por otra parte Guan Shanjin, aunque recibió mucho odio de los lectores en los primeros 60 capítulos, ese hombre me tuvo a sus pies desde el primer segundo, solo hubo una ocasión en la que "trató mal" a Xingzi y lo recompensó con creces, aún así admito que tuvo un desarrollo de personaje increíble, y que se le nota muchísimo su amor por Xingzi, es un man mega inteligente, la tiene grande, tiene plata, sabe cocinar y es supremamente fiel, básicamente es solo invento, pero te amo mucho Guan Shanjin.
Tengo sentimientos bien raros hacía Rancui, Hei'er y Man Yue, los dos primeros son una de las razones por las que no doy el 5 completo y es que claramente hay había mucho más de lo que la autora nos mostró, lo cual se me hace bien triste, pero a la vez estos tres son bien metidos, que admito sin ellos tal vez nuestra pareja principal no hubiera terminado bien, aún así me molestaron mucho esos casi 10 capítulos de ellos haciendo todo por Xingzi y Haiwang, como si estos dos pendejos no pudieran solos.
En fin, si andan en busca de una novela graciosa, erótica, bl y ligera, está es su opción, nunca había leído tanto sobre penes en mi vida jajaja. Experiencia revitalizadora sin duda jajaja.

Great premise, lacklustre execution!
Keeping in line with the Ancient China Grindr theme, the story starts off well. I especially loved that the MC is not your typical peerless beauty. The MC, in this story, is unassuming, kind and incapable of scheming. His best quality is his childlike simplicity and sincerity. He's not exceptionally talented in literary arts, music or military affairs. He's a simple, plain-looking guy!
The ML is scummy for the most part but he gradually improves. I would have preferred if he had grovelled a little.
There's a ton of smut in this book but it's not well written and it honestly sounds very cringe and painful. Most of the time, the smut was repetitive and aggressive and not in line with the emotional mindset of the characters. 1 star gets docked for smut-baiting readers into this story.
1 star docked because the MC is repeatedly described as 'old quail', 'old fellow', and 'old man'. The poor guy is only 40 and yet, he was repeatedly described like he had one foot in the grave.
The story drags after the halfway mark and the political scheming is childish at best. Very very well-translated though.

The premise that “You’ve Got Mail” is a traditional Chinese grindr really hooked me. The first half of the book was funny and engaging - it was great to see how the characters use each other and see GSJ basically fall in love first even though he was initially using WXZ for his own ends. Empezemos con lo último.
Una de las pocas cosas que no me gustaron fueron la actitud de Haiwang de puberto irritable en algunas ocasiones, y lo caído de la mata con el tema de "ese sujeto"
Además, durante todo ese jaleo de los personajes secundarios por decidir en la vida amorosa de Wu es (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻
Exasperante😩, por qué nadie le preguntaba a Wu qué carrizo quería?😩 No es como si fuese débil, y con esto paso al otro punto.
Me gustó el desarrollo de Wu, que en un principio se nos mostró como un cuarentón simple, con cero ganas de vivir, débil, aburrido, sin sal. However, a lo largo de la historia se explica el porqué de su actitud, y que resulta ser es uno de los personajes más fuertes de la novela, inteligente y de corazón compasivo(✿^‿^)
Por eso me molestaba tanto que los demás decidieran por él, cuando era perfectamente capaz (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻

En fin, puede resultar aburrido para unos al principio. Pero a medida que avanza la historia, el ritmo se vuelve constante, hay muchas partes cómicas y las escenas del sin respeto también te mantienen enganchada;)

Exasperante😩, por qué nadie le preguntaba a Wu qué carrizo quería?😩 No es como si fuese débil, y con esto paso al otro punto.
Me gustó el desarrollo de Wu, que en un principio se nos mostró como un cuarentón simple, con cero ganas de vivir, débil, aburrido, sin sal. However, a lo largo de la historia se explica el porqué de su actitud, y que resulta ser es uno de los personajes más fuertes de la novela, inteligente y de corazón compasivo(✿^‿^)
Por eso me molestaba tanto que los demás decidieran por él, cuando era perfectamente capaz (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻

En fin, puede resultar aburrido para unos al principio. Pero a medida que avanza la historia, el ritmo se vuelve constante, hay muchas partes cómicas y las escenas del sin respeto también te mantienen enganchada;)

Realmente es una novela llenas de clichés pero me gusta mucho como se dirigió, es una lectura ligera.
Me hizo sentir tan triste el Sr.Wu como también cagarme de risa por sus ocurrencias a las 3 a.m. 😂. Realmente amo como no se ahoga en un vaso de agua y pasa página muy rápido, como también al general que vomita sangre cada vez que se muere de ira. Aunque me hubiera gustado extras para saber la relación de Rancui - He’ir y Man yue- al propietario del Restaurant 🥲. Otra cosa que les faltó fue un mejor desarrollo al conflicto político, todo fue resuelto muy rápido y no hubo profundidad. Sin embargo, agradezco que dieran un enfoque más tierno al final. Definitivamente me lo volvería a leer ❤️😭.

What can I say? I did not think that this story was going to be as funny as it was… romcom with lots of unbelievable and definitely unrealistic smut, I would recommend. Definitely will get someone out of a reading slump. It started with smut and then it got real with the plot and feelings. While for 80% of the story I was not a big fan of Guan Shanjin, he proves himself(kind of). Be ready for Adviser Wu and his ranking of pengornis(😂😂😂😂). But actually it was kind of sad and it hurt when you got to n feel just how lonely Wu was/is and him so excited for his grave. Yeah it got to me. Def would recommend. TW sexual content, adult/minor relationship (not the main pair), rape, self harm, suicidal thoughts, death of a parent, um urethra play,

Spicey! No voy a mentir, esta es una novela China EROTICA, pero me mintieron descaradamente, si tenía una trama y me encantó... Con los ingredientes justos y un personaje principal diferente a los que suelo leer en el danmei... Un personaje aparentemente soso y literal, pero de un gran corazón sin duda (fanático de los pengornis 🤣🤣🤣)
