Unfortunately for many, this gift remains often unopened and unused because of a lack of understanding. In truth, worship is not christianized entertainment, a religious ritual, or zealous demonstration.
The biblical picture of worship is an intimate encounter with the infinite God that spreads into every part of your daily life.

There were good parts of this book: forgiveness, love of God and fellowman, feeling the Spirit. I was raised Catholic, so our worship was very quiet. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ, LDS, I still belong to a church that is very reverent in its worship services. When I think of worship, I thing of prayer and song with The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. There are no electric guitars or drum sets. Still enjoyable to read; I like to see how others worship.
Thank you, Philip Renner, for this book. While reading this book, I auditioned for the Worship Team at my church, and made the team. This book has provided a lot of practical tips that I’m, either, applying in my life or new tips that I will be using through the calling of worship that God has finally granted to me after years of trying and working hard to get right.
Best book I've read on bringing others into a place of worship. Practical while not being dull. The writer has lived what he writes about and is passionate about the topic. I especially recommend it for anyone involved in worship whether leading, playing, or in any other way. Also, any church leader would learn much from the writer's perspective. A worthy read.
What can I say other than this book is a must for any worship leader. If the worship leader just sings and plays music but is not flowing in the Spirit you get a dead worship service.
This book is an excellent resource for all persons who have any part in corporate worship especially those who sing play and preach. In others words everyone up front and those who support them with sound and lights.
A powerful read on the protocol for impacting worship to go deep. The responsibility of a worship team is imperative to the ushering of the presence of God
