Volume 2 of Learn Vietnamese Through Stories (Elementary Level) contains ten brand new stories. Each one introduces a range of new words and language features that do not appear in Volume 1. At the same time, lots of commonly-used words and phrases introduced in Volume 1 are recycled throughout these new stories. At the end of each story, you will find a glossary, with English translations of the key words and phrases. There is also a section entitled ‘Language Insights’, which offers a guide to some useful or interesting language features that appear in the story. This section will help deepen your understanding of how Vietnamese works.

These books by Annie and Jack are a great way to acquire language. I bought two copies, one for me and one for my language teacher. For each of the books they have published. They come with audio as well. And, they are in the southern accent!
If you are learning Vietnamese or want to refresh your knowledge, these books are terrific.
