Fair

Good plot potential . Unprofessional DCI. The author seems to have been trying to improve the disaster of book 1. I usually try to be fair to authors and read two books if there is potential . No more of these . They are not about DS Harvey , but the motley group .

Good

Plot and characters made for a good book. Liked that I didn't figure any of it out at all. Satisfactory ending for sure.

Wow!

I enjoyed this book a lot. I like the characters and the settings. The only thing I didn’t like was the occasional bad language. Really bad. But as a mystery, it was great. It kept me guessing until the end.

I really enjoyed this 2nd book. I found the characters had that comfortable familiarity. More of their backgrounds have been 'leaking out', giving them all more depth.

I'm already well into book 3 & it's even better still!

Intense from the start to the surprising ending. Would recommend this for anyone who loves a good mystery. Be sure you read book 1 first.
