About the author

I began writing dark erotica in 2014. I found that it really irritated me how authors bring down their male leads and make love stories sappy. I continually began to feel unfulfilled with reading. So I wrote a book how I like to read it. I find that although my stories are full on and seem a bit much, so many of my readers have connected to them. I try to tone it down ever so often in my books, but I find I write better the harder the material I write about.

This just had a weird vibe. The section where H/h go to visit his parents just felt like H and his sibs were stuck in some Hepburn comedy from the 40s.

Once again, I loved to hate, and hated to love the Hero. It starts out the same while I read her books. At first, I am alarmed by the Hero and his “ways”. It doesn’t take long before I am rooting for him, and wanting the heroine to finally accept him.

Zayne is messed up. He messes up. But, I felt he wanted and needed Diana. Of course, then I am left being mad because the only thing Diana wanted from him (since he wouldn’t let her go) was for him to give up his killing. When he does this with another woman, and then wants to keep them both, my anxiety was on high alert!!!

But, the ending! It just ended , and I was swiping right repeatedly trying to find “more”. I was frantic, thinking I would never know if they got a HEA. I started searching and finally found that Toxic was next, and about Zayne’s brother. Finally, I thought I could simmer down, and my answers would be found in that one.......

So, off I went to read.

In conclusion, I am a huge fan of this type of book. I need a bad Hero that needs redemption. So, another 5 star and “gotta have” for me.

It looks like I did not write a review the first time I read this so I wasn't sure about it, so I read again😁Anywho Zayne was some kind of messed up. Diana was in the wrong place at the wrong time, she wanted to live so he took her..she was his captive....cruel to her, but remorseful, but truthful also saying that was his way.Whew!!! Her Alpha's are cruel with their love, obsessive and possessive...if they fall in love with you there is no way to escape. Not for everyone, but I love her books and I question myself about that😁 :))

Another horribly toxic relationship from EL Beth. I’m addicted at this point. Doesn’t end in an HEA for the couple I think that comes in book 3. Zayn is an extremely crazy mf… like just hurting Diana to hurt her. If a man ogles her, he blames her and punishes her for it 😳 I couldn’t put it down still, and finished in one day.
