Coming October 2013.....The conclusion of Nathaniel and Abigail's story.....The Submissive Trilogy.
The Training picks up on the heels of The Dominant. Abby and Nathaniel have rekindled their relationship, both agreeing to balance a life of a Dominant and submissive on the weekends, and that of a typical couple throughout the week. Nathaniel is tentative on this new plan...can he be both a Dominant and a lover to the same person? Can Abby turn off her submissive tendencies during the week and be the feisty, free-spirited woman he loves? This will take some time.....some Training.
I absolutely devoured this series! When I was offered the arc to The Training by Miss Sue, I couldn't wait for the snail mail to deliver it! I needed to get the reassurance that this couple's love can withstand the struggles to integrate two totally different lifestyles into one. The book starts out HOT and doesn't cool off whatsoever. There is a hugely significant amount of the BDSM lifestyle in this book. I was really hoping for more story, more "happenings" with the two of them but it really just focused on their acclimation to the lifestyle, from Dom to lover.....weighing much more heavily on the sex than the story. I loved loved loved their love story so that was my only disappointment in the book. I don't know if I wanted more angst, some outside conflict, I'm not sure.... It was chocked full of panty melting sex instead.
I think this book rides a fine line of loving Nathaniel, the rich, successful, sweet, caring man to not hating him as the arrogant, controlling Dom. The book doesn't sugar coat the BDSM D/s lifestyle into something we as readers want out of a story. I think that his playroom attitude will push some people's buttons....he's still got the spare bedroom for her, still expects her to serve him meals, and adds more submissive requirements that made me (the lover of all things Nathaniel) scowl at the book. *insert sour puss face* He made her do WHAT? It just seemed more realistic, and less hearts and flowers to make the reader happy. But when loving Nathaniel was out, SWOONFEST!

After reading both The Submissive and The Dominant, we've gotten a good taste of who Abby and Nathaniel are and what they want. We read through their trials and tribulations and we suffered through their heartbreak and have finally come out the other side...to this side. To this story that tells about them making it work.
I've thought a lot about how I wanted to express what I'm feeling about this story and one word keeps coming back to me and that's:
"dichotomy - meaning a division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or entirely different."
I was hoping for more "meshing"....more meshing of Nathaniel as himself and Nathaniel as Master. More meshing of Abby, the regular person, and Abigail, the submissive, and definitely more meshing of their relationship as a regular couple AND as a BDSM couple.
Unfortunately for me, there was too much separation. Don't get me wrong, there were moments of "meshing" as in the family BBQ that worked out really well but most of the times, their lives and especially Nathaniel was divided.
What happened to Nathaniel, that sweet, slightly needy, slightly non confident person that warmed our hearts? That's the guy I was looking for! I already met Nathaniel the Master and I didn't really care for some of the things he did...and surprise, surprise...that Nathaniel managed to upset me yet again.
I think the problem is I was wanting more explanations and reasoning's. Why was Nathaniel the Master so cold and uncaring sometimes...why did he do the things he did and make Abigail do some of those things? It could have happened especially with getting both POVs. And we get hints of that sweet Nathaniel with all the gifts he left for Abby when he went to China.
We certainly got a lot of reasoning's about Abby. Heck, Nathaniel the Master even made her write down her thoughts in a journal and we got to hear all about Abigail going to a submissive's group. About the only time we heard anything about Nathaniel was when he was talking to Paul...and that was mostly about Abigail! Needless to say, it left me a bit frustrated.
Don't get me wrong, there were quite a few scenes that I enjoyed. I liked reading about them trying to work their two lives together and how it was a work in progress. I loved when they would talk things out and just cuddle!
There was some interesting drama as well. I totally understood the Gwen/Nicolas drama but I certainly didn't care for the Mary drama. I didn't think that was really necessary.
It was great reading more about Jackson and Felicia and their wedding. I thought it was a positive that Felicia was coming around a bit and it was wonderful how Abby 'handled' her. But...I really missed Elaina...what in the heck happened to her? She had played a much larger part in Abby's life before and now we almost never heard from her!
All that being said, I still enjoyed the story and I liked how things worked out. The epilogue was the best part of the story...well, with the exception of the boat...aka yacht. ;)

4 Teach-Me Stars
The Training is book 2 of The Submissive series. The Submissive must be read prior to reading The Training however, The Dominate can be read before or afterwards, since it’s an alternative POV book.
I’m saving the alternative POV for when the series is over.
Nathaniel is super controlling dominate male. He likes things a certain way and with that comes rules. If the rules are broken, then there will be punishment.
Abby is Nathaniel’s submissive and although she’s new at it, she loves it.
Nathaniel and Abby have newly developed their unique relationship. During the weekdays, they are a couple, but on the weekends they “play”.
On the weekends, Nathaniel is dominate and Abby is submissive
I really like Nathaniel and Abby’s relationship. I feel like Tara Sue Me didn’t give me typical characters. She really created the characters and gave me chemistry and romance. I love the love Nathaniel and Abby have for each other. They love each other, but that doesn’t mean its all roses and butterflies.
I love that they still have issues to work through and they do that. They work through the issues. Nathaniel is an experienced dominate and he wants certain things, yet he knows Abby is not experience but he wants to make her happy. They work together a lot to find a common ground.
Nathaniel bossing Abby around is hot. Nathaniel pushing Abby out of her comfort zone is hot too. It makes me want to ask my husband to buy be a diamond collar, okay maybe a pretty necklace, but you get the point.
It’s wickedly fun and addictive to read. If you are looking for a new BDSM book I would suggest this series. It touches all the taboo stuff, but not enough to make you cringe or grit your teeth. It’s playful, kinky and kind of fun.

Perfect conclusion to Nathaniel and Abby's story.
I loved watching them try to understand and find the balance between being passionate lovers and erotic D/s.
While reading there's not a moment of doubt that the love shared between Nathaniel and Abby is pure in both body and soul. Seeing them fully accept both sides of their needs; be mindful of each other's desires; thoughtful of feelings and expectations was unbelievably satisfying.
As much as it was a journey for Abby to understand what it means to be a submissive, Nathaniel had to travel his own path of discovery on how to be both a lover and a Master. Balancing his powerful need to dominate with the gentle desire of his heart.
Overall, it was a beautiful and simply told story of passionate love and erotic desire; and how you can have one without compromising the other.

The Training is book three in the Submissive series and this is where we see our lovely pair continue on with their story and work their way towards their happy ever after. This is the book where they are committed to each other but also where they will push each other's boundaries as well. We see how Nathaniel goes deeper into the BDSM training and explores what their relationship can reach and Abby is completely wanting that as well. We really see great character growth and I adored the friendship with Nathaniel's mentor as it really helped Abby see where they could be and the potential that their relationship could have. I also enjoyed seeing them explore their relationship outside of the BDSM aspects and how Nathaniel wanted them to just be friends and lovers in other ways too. This story had so much heart and feeling and it just won its way so easily to my soul. I was swept away by the writing and I couldn't put this down. I am eager to see where this author takes the rest of the series and the other couples that we will see.

Στα πρώτα δύο μέρη της ιστορίας αυτής είδαμε πως έγινε η γνωριμία των ηρώων όπως και το ότι ξεκίνησαν μία σχέση συγκεκριμένου είδους και το πώς τη διαχειρίστηκε ο καθένας τους ξεχωριστά.
Δεν χωρά αμφιβολία πως ο Ναθάνιελ και η Άμπι είναι ένα ασυνήθιστο ζευγάρι όπως και το ότι τα μυστικά που κρύβει κυρίως ο Ναθάνιελ παίζουν καθοριστικό ρόλο στην εξέλιξη της σχέσης τους.
Μέχρι το τέλος του Κυρίαρχου όμως όλα έχουν μπει σε μία σειρά, οι πρωταγωνιστές μας έχουν εξομολογηθεί τα βαθύτερα συναισθήματα τους, έχουν ανοίξει όλα τους τα χαρτιά ενώ παράλληλα είναι και οι δύο απόλυτα συνειδητοποιημένοι για το ποιο θέλουν να είναι το είδος της σχέσης τους στη συνέχεια.
Πρόκειται λοιπόν για έναν συνδυασμό όπου το ζευγάρι τα βρίσκει στους περισσότερους τομείς - αν όχι σε όλους - απλά το σαδομαζοχιστικό κομμάτι είναι αυτό που θέλουν να το οριοθετήσουν κατά κάποιο τρόπο και να ισορροπήσουν.
Ο Ναθάνιελ είναι έμπειρος, η Άμπι όμως όχι και αυτό ακριβώς είναι το θέμα του τρίτου βιβλίου.
Δεν ήταν λίγοι εκείνοι που μου είπαν πως δεν ικανοποιήθηκαν ιδιαίτερα με αυτή τη συνέχεια. Εγώ πάλι από την πλευρά μου το βρήκα άρτιο αφού ουσιαστικά στα προηγούμενα βιβλία τα συναισθηματικά θέματα έχουν λυθεί με τον καλύτερο δυνατό τρόπο.
Αυτό είναι ένα βιβλίο που μας πάει σε ένα παραπάνω επίπεδο όσον αφορά αυτή καθ’ αυτή τη σχέση του ζευγαριού στο δωμάτιο του παιχνιδιού και ναι μπορεί να γίνεται πολύ περιγραφικό όμως εν τέλει αυτό είναι και το ζητούμενο νομίζω. Παράλληλα υπάρχουν εκείνες οι μικρές μα καθοριστικές πινελιές που βλέπουμε πως η σχέση τους ωριμάζει από κάθε άποψη, τις καθημερινές ημέρες της εβδομάδας που ακολουθούν τον συμβατικό τρόπο ζωής όπως όλα τα ζευγάρια ενώ τα Σαββατοκύριακα που μετατρέπονται στον Κυρίαρχο και την Υποτακτική.
Προσωπικά συγκινήθηκα σε πολλά σημεία όπως και στα προηγούμενα δύο βιβλία και περισσότερο με τον Ναθάνιελ που βρίσκει το ιδανικό, το άλλο του μισό θα λέγαμε. Όσον αφορά την Άμπι συνειδητοποιεί στην πορεία πως η δύναμη βρίσκεται στην πραγματικότητα στα δικά της χέρια και είναι μία ανακάλυψη αυτή όχι μόνο για την ηρωίδα αλλά και για εμάς τους αναγνώστες.
Συνήθως όταν διαβάζω μία ιστορία με συνέχειες μου είναι πολύ δύσκολο να ξεχωρίσω το ένα βιβλίο από το άλλο. Τα βλέπω όλα ως ένα και το ίδιο ισχύει και στην προκειμένη περίπτωση. Η αυλαία θα μπορούσε να έχει πέσει και στο δεύτερο βιβλίο όμως αυτή η μικρή συνέχεια, το κάτι παραπάνω, με έκανε να καταλάβω καλύτερα τους χαρακτήρες και μου επέτρεψε να δω το πώς ισορρόπησαν αυτοί σε όλα τα επίπεδα.
Ήταν πραγματικά μία ιστορία την οποία απόλαυσα, που πραγματεύεται κάτι πολύ διαφορετικό, τελείως έξω από τα δεδομένα μου ωστόσο κατάφερε να γίνει όχι μόνο ενδιαφέρον αλλά γοητευτικό και εν τέλει απόλυτα συναισθηματικό.

Μέχρι το τέλος του Κυρίαρχου όμως όλα έχουν μπει σε μία σειρά, οι πρωταγωνιστές μας έχουν εξομολογηθεί τα βαθύτερα συναισθήματα τους, έχουν ανοίξει όλα τους τα χαρτιά ενώ παράλληλα είναι και οι δύο απόλυτα συνειδητοποιημένοι για το ποιο θέλουν να είναι το είδος της σχέσης τους στη συνέχεια.
Πρόκειται λοιπόν για έναν συνδυασμό όπου το ζευγάρι τα βρίσκει στους περισσότερους τομείς - αν όχι σε όλους - απλά το σαδομαζοχιστικό κομμάτι είναι αυτό που θέλουν να το οριοθετήσουν κατά κάποιο τρόπο και να ισορροπήσουν.
Ο Ναθάνιελ είναι έμπειρος, η Άμπι όμως όχι και αυτό ακριβώς είναι το θέμα του τρίτου βιβλίου.
Δεν ήταν λίγοι εκείνοι που μου είπαν πως δεν ικανοποιήθηκαν ιδιαίτερα με αυτή τη συνέχεια. Εγώ πάλι από την πλευρά μου το βρήκα άρτιο αφού ουσιαστικά στα προηγούμενα βιβλία τα συναισθηματικά θέματα έχουν λυθεί με τον καλύτερο δυνατό τρόπο.
Αυτό είναι ένα βιβλίο που μας πάει σε ένα παραπάνω επίπεδο όσον αφορά αυτή καθ’ αυτή τη σχέση του ζευγαριού στο δωμάτιο του παιχνιδιού και ναι μπορεί να γίνεται πολύ περιγραφικό όμως εν τέλει αυτό είναι και το ζητούμενο νομίζω. Παράλληλα υπάρχουν εκείνες οι μικρές μα καθοριστικές πινελιές που βλέπουμε πως η σχέση τους ωριμάζει από κάθε άποψη, τις καθημερινές ημέρες της εβδομάδας που ακολουθούν τον συμβατικό τρόπο ζωής όπως όλα τα ζευγάρια ενώ τα Σαββατοκύριακα που μετατρέπονται στον Κυρίαρχο και την Υποτακτική.
Προσωπικά συγκινήθηκα σε πολλά σημεία όπως και στα προηγούμενα δύο βιβλία και περισσότερο με τον Ναθάνιελ που βρίσκει το ιδανικό, το άλλο του μισό θα λέγαμε. Όσον αφορά την Άμπι συνειδητοποιεί στην πορεία πως η δύναμη βρίσκεται στην πραγματικότητα στα δικά της χέρια και είναι μία ανακάλυψη αυτή όχι μόνο για την ηρωίδα αλλά και για εμάς τους αναγνώστες.
Συνήθως όταν διαβάζω μία ιστορία με συνέχειες μου είναι πολύ δύσκολο να ξεχωρίσω το ένα βιβλίο από το άλλο. Τα βλέπω όλα ως ένα και το ίδιο ισχύει και στην προκειμένη περίπτωση. Η αυλαία θα μπορούσε να έχει πέσει και στο δεύτερο βιβλίο όμως αυτή η μικρή συνέχεια, το κάτι παραπάνω, με έκανε να καταλάβω καλύτερα τους χαρακτήρες και μου επέτρεψε να δω το πώς ισορρόπησαν αυτοί σε όλα τα επίπεδα.
Ήταν πραγματικά μία ιστορία την οποία απόλαυσα, που πραγματεύεται κάτι πολύ διαφορετικό, τελείως έξω από τα δεδομένα μου ωστόσο κατάφερε να γίνει όχι μόνο ενδιαφέρον αλλά γοητευτικό και εν τέλει απόλυτα συναισθηματικό.

I am so over this series! It was not what I expected. At this point in the book they are still questioning they want each other. If Abby didn't want Nathaniel then she wouldn't have taken him back and accepted his collar again. If Nathaniel didn't want Abby then he wouldn't have recollared her. And he wouldn't even train her. A man isn't going to train a woman he isn't attracted to. They shouldn't be asking each other if they find each other sexually attractive. That's ridiculous!
Then there is the part of Abby not being able to take punishment. She knows what type of relationship this is. I know she doesn't want to disappoint him in the training process but that's you train. He knows she is going to mess up. But it's not good that when he hands out a wishes punishment but then he submits to her wishes every time she cries or pouts. She is guilting the man to make him do what she wants. That's not a dominant/submissive relationship. Those two might as well have a regular relationship without the kink. It just doesn't make sense to me.
This story was mediocre at best. Save your money for something better than this series.

Είναι τόσο δύσκολο να γράψω μια κριτική για αυτό το βιβλίο, μιας και όλη η σειρά μου προκάλεσε αντικρουόμενα συναισθήματα και πολλές φορές πραγματικά με μπέρδεψε. Θα ξεκινήσω λοιπόν λέγοντας ότι η Πειθήνια και ο Κυρίαρχος με προβλημάτισαν όσο καμιά άλλη σειρά. Με την Πειθήνια το μεγάλο πρόβλημα είναι ότι δεν μπορούσα να κατανοήσω τους χαρακτήρες (ειδικά στο πρώτο μισό) μιας και η παρουσίασή τους γινόταν σχεδόν μόνο από τη μεταξύ τους σχέση, μια σχέση που κάθε άλλο μπορεί να προβάλει τους χαρακτήρες των πρωταγωνιστών. Επίσης αυτό που ένιωσα εγώ ως έλλειψη αυτοσεβασμού από την πλευρά της Άμπι με εξόργισε (εντάξει ίσως μιλά η φεμινιστική πλευρά μου).
Τα δύο πρώτα βιβλία περιέγραφαν την ίδια ιστορία με τόσο διαφορετικό τρόπο που εκνευρίστηκα και έμεινα άναυδη. Η πλευρά του Ναθάνιελ ήταν σαφώς πιο συναισθηματική, μου άρεσε αν και για να πω την αλήθεια με σύγχυσε περισσότερο γιατί ήταν σαν να γνώριζα ένα εντελώς διαφορετικό άτομο. Εντάξει μπορώ να δεχτώ την ιδιαιτερότητα του χαρακτήρα του, αλλά δεν γίνεται να είσαι δύο εντελώς διαφορετικά πρόσωπα -άλλο μέσα άλλο έξω. Για αυτόν ακριβώς το λόγο με ξένισε το δεύτερο βιβλίο. Ωραίος και ρομαντικός ο εσωτερικός Ναθάνιελ, αλλά σε πλήρη μα πλήρη αντίθεση με αυτόν του πρώτου βιβλίου. Ε αυτό το γεγονός δεν μπορούσα να το δεχτώ, ήταν σαν διπλή προσωπικότητα... Και για αυτόν ακριβώς το λόγο δεν είχα πολλές ελπίδες για το τρίτο μέρος.
Και ενώ λοιπόν άκουγα από τους πλείστους ότι το τρίτο μέρος τους είχε απογοητεύσει, ότι έχει χάσει το ρομαντισμό του, ότι είναι βαρετό κλπ, εγώ βρήκα αυτό ακριβώς που περίμενα να διαβάσω εξαρχής. Πραγματικά δεν μπορώ να κατανοήσω πώς κάποιος λέει ότι το τρίτο μέρος δεν είναι ρομαντικό, γιατί εγώ το βρήκα μες τα μέλια και απίστευτα γλυκό. Ναι είναι γεγονός ότι η συγγραφέας γράφει πιο μηχανικά, το κείμενο έχει χάσει ένα μικρό μέρος από το συναισθηματισμό των άλλων βιβλίων, αλλά παρόλα αυτά βρίθει από ρομαντισμό. Εντάξει οι σκηνές BDSM πληθαίνουν και είναι άγριες, αλλά ας μην ξεχνάμε ότι η σειρά εξετάζει μια ιδιόμορφη σχέση, όπου και οι δύο πρωταγωνιστές συναινούν στα κοινά γούστα τους και στο τι θέλουν. Προσωπικά το βρήκα άρτιο.
Το μόνο μειονέκτημα της Εκπαίδευσης κατ' εμένα είναι ότι δεν υπάρχει μια έντονη τελική κορύφωση της ιστορίας. Όλο το βιβλίο αφορά την εκπαίδευση της Άμπι και τη σχέση της με τον Ναθάνιελ που γίνεται όλο και πιο δυνατή. Δεν υπάρχουν εκπλήξεις, δεν υπάρχουν έντονες ανατροπές παρά μόνο μικρές εξάρσεις.
Επίσης πρέπει να πω ακόμα κάτι, δεν υπάρχει τίποτα πιο αναληθές από τα σχόλια που άκουσα ότι ο γλυκός Ναθάνιελ έχει εξαφανιστεί. Στην Εκπαίδευση εγώ προσωπικά βρήκα τον Ναθάνιελ πιο γλυκό από ποτέ και πολλές φορές με συγκίνησε. Και σε αυτό ακριβώς το σημείο κατανοεί κανείς και τη σχέση των πρωταγωνιστών και ότι ουσιαστικά τα πάντα εξαρτώνται από την Άμπι και όχι από τον Ναθάνιελ, όπως υπονοεί ο κυριαρχικός ρόλος του.
Διαβάζοντας λοιπόν και το τρίτο μέρος και τελειώνοντας τη σειρά, οφείλω να ομολογήσω ότι η συγγραφέας ξέρει να περιγράφει χωρίς περιττές τυμπανοκρουσίες και αυτό μου άρεσε. Η σχέση Κυρίαρχου-Υποτακτικής θεωρώ ότι παρουσιάζεται πιο ορθά από όλα τα άλλα βιβλία παρόμοιας θεματολογίας τα οποία διάβασα και χαίρομαι που εν τέλει μετά το μεγάλο μπέρδεμα που μου προκάλεσαν τα πρώτα δύο βιβλία, βρήκα επιτέλους αυτό που έψαχνα και κατάφερα να κατανοήσω μια τέτοια σχέση...

The third in the series, The Training turns up the dial on Abby and Nathaniel’s sexy as hell lifestyle. Sensual, romantic and just a bit kinky, you’ll quickly submit to all the feels in this book.
The Training lets us into Abby and Nathaniel’s lives now that their a couple. How do they navigate these new and unchartered waters? Is Abby supposed to be a submissive all the time? So far, this is absolutely my favorite of the series. I think I loved it most because it’s completely realistic.
The Training is about two normal people coming together and finding a way to combine their worlds, their love and their lives. This combination is exactly like any other couple, just with a little kink on the side. There is this undercurrent that flows through this book of utter devotion and complete reverence for each other that had me grasping my kindle a little extra hard so I wouldn’t drop it when I swooned.
You never have to worry about either of them cheating (thank fuck) and this book doesn’t have some ridiculous event that will make you hate one or both of them. Some might say that nothing happens, but to me – I think everything happens. You don’t need one party to completely fuck up and have to beg for forgiveness (although that’s completely an enticing idea here) in order to have a phenomenal book. Tara’s exceptional writing kept me glued to the pages, breathless to discover what boundaries are going to be pushed next.
Nathaniel’s lifestyle friends are introduced and Abby takes a more assertive role in her submission (not a typo!). They push further and harder in this book than ever before and I was panting a bit after some of those sessions. I could seriously read about this two all day, every day. I’m gushing now and idgaf. This series is fucking amazing. Their love is stronger than any rope that Nathaniel can find and the sex is off the charts – regardless of whether it’s in or out of the playroom. There is definitely a happy ending in this one that I think was initially meant to be the finale of the series, but it’s really only just the beginning…

5*****Stars! I loved The Training! What a tantalizing treat! It really shows the trust and growth between Nathaniel & Abby in both their "normal" weekday love life and their sexual Master/Submissive weekend play. I loved experiencing a deeper look into the little intricacies of the BDSM lifestyle which was given equally from both his and her POV. I want more! :D A must read for those FSOG lovers looking for more just as I was!
I definitely recommend this Trilogy and look forward to reading more from Tara Sue Me!!!

2´5 estrellas y por que siento generosa.
Si hay una frase que defina el libro es esta: "Menos cama y más trama". Vale, que estoy leyendo un libro erótico y debe tener escenas de sexo, pero en este libro es que no hay otra cosa.
No hay conflictos, ni dramas externos, ni largas conversaciones, sólo sexo en distintos escenarios. Hacia el final van a un sitio donde puede haber algo interesante, pero la escritora lo pasa de puntillas. Gran fallo.
Lo peor de todo, es que se suponía que iba a ser una trilogía, pero cual es mi sorpresa que el año que viene, va a sacar un cuarto libro. ¿En serio? Si este tercero me ha parecido tan flojo no me llama nada que haya un cuarto. ¿Porqué? Si todo se ha quedado bien atado. NO hay necesidad de otro libro :(

Now, me, I would have made this series a movie.
The third in the series is pretty much a sex-fest- but it is well written. With a title like The Training, you get what you expect.
Abby and Nathanial decide to live together and carry on with their week-end
D/s roles.
Abby thinks she would like to try living like this 24/7 but Nathanial is not too keen on this, he also asks her not to wear her collar during the week as this puts her in a head-space that he does not want to contend with all the time. She is at first a bit miffed but comes to understand his reasoning.
They take their play into more risky territory but the living arrangements seem to be working for them.

I waited a long time to get this one. I read it and to be honest, I wasn't as delighted as I hoped to be. I found the first book to be so good. I found the second good, but didn't really like the perspective it took. I read this one after waiting for a while with it on hold in my local library and didn't find it delivered the goods. It wasn't bad. I think my expectations might have been more than the book delivered. It was well written. The story was fine. I wanted more dramatic elements. I might say that the plot wasn't enough for me.

This is the third and final book in the Submissive trilogy.
This one is told alternately from the points of view of Abby and Nathaniel as the couple feel there way into a relationship which combines both submission and a day-to-day, 'normal' life.
I have grown to really like these two characters as the trilogy has progressed, wishing them well in their efforts. A lot more BDSM in this final part, as you would expect from the title, but not enough to overwhelm the developing love story between the pair - 8/10.

Η πλοκή σχεδόν ανύπαρκτη. Η συγγραφέας στο τελευταίο βιβλίο της τριλογίας εστίασε περισσότερο στις ερωτικές σκηνές οι οποίες τελειωμό δεν είχαν. Ήθελα περισσότερο συναίσθημα στους χαρακτήρες και λίγο πλοκή ρε παιδί μου. Μπουχτισα με τις ερωτικές σκηνές τις οποίες προσπερνουσα από ένα σημείο και μετά.
Η πλοκή σχεδόν ανύπαρκτη. Η συγγραφέας στο τελευταίο βιβλίο της τριλογίας εστίασε περισσότερο στις ερωτικές σκηνές οι οποίες τελειωμό δεν είχαν. Ήθελα περισσότερο συναίσθημα στους χαρακτήρες και λίγο πλοκή ρε παιδί μου. Μπουχτισα με τις ερωτικές σκηνές τις οποίες προσπερνουσα από ένα σημείο και μετά.

Το περιμέναμε πολύ καιρό, με μεγάλη αγωνία και ανυπομονησία. Όσοι λατρέψατε τα δύο πρώτα βιβλία της τριλογίας της Tara Sue Me, είμαι σίγουρη ότι καταλαβαίνετε ακριβώς για ποιο πράγμα μιλάω. Και οι μήνες πέρασαν και έτσι, το "The Training", μου μετονομάστηκε σε "Η Εκπαίδευση", βρίσκεται πλέον στα χέρια μας. Ξεκίνησα, λοιπόν, την ανάγνωση χωρίς να χάσω λεπτό και όμως, ο αρχικός μου ενθουσιασμός άρχισε να υποχωρεί κεφάλαιο το κεφάλαιο με αποτέλεσμα, όχι μόνο να ρίξω τους ρυθμούς της ανάγνωσής του σε εξωφρενικά χαμηλά επίπεδα, για τα δεδομένα μου, αλλά και να μην το απολαύσω όσο θα ήθελα. Τι να φταίει, άραγε; Οι δικές μου υψηλές προσδοκίες ή το γεγονός πως η συγγραφέας πιάστηκε σε μια παγίδα της οποίας τις επιπτώσεις ίσως να μην είχε καν σκεφτεί; Πιθανολογώ πως είναι ένα κράμα αυτών των δύο, αν και θα ρίξω το μεγαλύτερο βάρος στον δεύτερο παράγοντα.

Οι σεξουαλικές περιγραφές είναι καυτές και ρεαλιστικές, διαφορετικές μεταξύ τους κι εμπνευσμένες, απόλυτα ταιριαστές στ�� bdsm πνεύμα ολόκληρης της ιστορίας, αν και θα μπορούσαν να είναι λιγότερες. Γενικά, το βιβλίο, έχει το ίδιο πρόβλημα που είχε και το τρίτο βιβλίο των "Αποχρώσεων". Είναι φλύαρο και κουραστικό σε ορισμένα σημεία, με τη διαφορά πως τις "Αποχρώσεις", ακόμα και λαμβάνοντας υπόψη μας την αδυναμία αυτή, τις διάβαζες πιο ξεκούραστα κι ευχάριστα.
Με όλα τα παραπάνω δεν υπονοώ πως μετάνιωσα που διάβασα την "Εκπαίδευση". Αν μη τι άλλο, ήξερα τι να περιμένω και έτσι, οι όποιες ενστάσεις μου δεν έχουν να κάνουν με το ότι το βρήκα προκλητικό, υπερβολικό ή δεν ξέρω κι εγώ τι άλλο μπορεί να σκεφτεί κανείς. Δεν είμαι από αυτούς τους αναγνώστες, το ξέρετε πολύ καλά και το έχω αποδείξει πολλάκις. Αλλά όσο κι αν απολαμβάνω στα βιβλία του είδους να διαβάζω τις ερωτικές του περιπτύξεις, δεν μου φτάνει μόνο αυτό. Θέλω ψυχολογικό προφίλ και ανάλυση, συναίσθημα κι εμβάθυνση σε αυτό και στην προκειμένη απουσιάζουν περίτρανα αφήνοντάς με μέ την αίσθηση του ανολοκλήρωτου, του ημιτελούς. Εν ολίγοις, δεν μου εξηγεί αυτό που ήθελε, ούτε δικαιολογεί στον απόλυτο βαθμό το τέλος της ιστορίας. Ήταν άνευρο, φλύαρο και εστιασμένο σε λάθος πράγματα ενώ θα μπορούσε να δώσει το κάτι παραπάνω. Παρ' όλα ταύτα, κι επειδή αποτελεί το κλείσιμο μιας αγαπημένης σειράς, δεν το απορρίπτω, απλά καμιά φορά, πρέπει να καταθέτουμε και τα όποια μειονεκτήματα.

Loved this book! So much better than fifty shades series. This book shows bdsm lifestyle is okay and for normal people and that you don’t have to be messed up to be into it. It shows how healthy and sexy it can be . Just loved this one. My only complaint is the epilogue I hate how every story has to end with marriage and children. Why can’t there ever be a marriage and that is it. The characters didn’t sound like themselves cause of the kids at the end. I know it only page and half long but just felt like it wasn’t Abby and Nathaniel . But this could be my own personally feelings/opinions on this so it won’t stop me from rating it 5 stars

THERE IS NO PLOT TO THIS BOOK!!!
I have no problem with the pain for pleasure spankings, but the punishments are hard to read. It makes me hate Nathaniel. In the 1st book I skipped over it & in the 2nd I read it to see how he feels about beating the woman he “loves”. Which was good because I started to like & understand him, but in this book we have to start with a punishment spanking. Only made me hate him all over again specially when we read his side & he comments that it’s getting earlier for him. He can’t wait to do it again admitting he is a sadist who loves to beat women making him the lowest of lows in my book.
I will admit I just finished the Breathing Series which is about abuse, so I'm a bit touchy on the subject.
It's like he wants another pet one he can fuck. In the 1st book he made her sleep on the floor & now he wants her to kiss his feet. IMO the only people who would want their feet kissed are people who think they are better than everybody else & wants to remind everyone of their lower class standings. Which I think says more about the person standing then the one on their knees & if I thought that Nathaniel West could become anymore of a sub-human who deserves a Lorena Bobbitt Job.
I THOUGHT WRONG!!!
Like any egomaniac he makes these rules using his status as her dominant to really degrade her. Like her head can't be above his giving her NO right to be in a position of equality, which I understand is the bases of BDSM. I read in many books that the life style is about respect for her doing this for him. I have found actions speak louder than words, so all the flowery words he says afterward means nothing if you show NO respect for the person at the time.
The only time that Nathaniel becomes somewhat human is when he recites poetry to her & I will admit when he said you are my 1% my heart melted. Unfortunately that only lasts for one sentence then just like every guy he has to open his mouth again & ruins it.
The character Abby King is so infuriating with her "I Disappointed You" crap. How about the "You just beat me like a whore & make me kiss your feet like a slave". What’s next walk on all fours (Oh Wait He Did That. At Least She Didn't Like It – That Being Only Thing) while I beat you with a cane for speaking at all let alone your mind!!
What’s sad about the book is when we actually get to a good hot sex scene I'm so pissed at both characters that I can't even enjoy it.
I’ve gotten to the point where I just want it to end, so I can move on to a better series.
I wish I hadn’t wasted my money on it or any of them.

I wasn't so sure about this series at first, but now that I've completed it, as a whole I LOVED it. My favorite hands down was this one, The Training because not only did you see the relationship and bond form, you felt the emotions right down in your gut; in your heart. However, The Dominant was very very close to being my favorite just as much as, The Training. I am an avid Fifty Shades fan, so to get the FULL effects of the story from Nathaniel's p.o.v was AMAZING (I think deep down that's because I'm dying for Christian Grey's p.o.v. and this book proves that it would worth it)! I've found that made a BDSM novel easier to accept (from what I've read about, the BDSM in this book is nothing -very light, lol). Point being, I thoroughly enjoyed it from the man or master's point of view. In this last book as I said, Abby and Nathaniel's relationship grew in leaps and bounds and was beautiful to watch unfold. The love, trust, understanding and submission, from both was overwhelming. I didn't mind that, The Training was, as some readers referred to it as a BDSM training manual, in fact I tought it kept in line with titles of the trilogy. And I'm fairly sure it spiced up my life in the bedroom ;) I thought it was a fun and exciting read from start to finish. I "oh'ed" and "ah'ed" and laughed and cried. My eyes popped outta my head a couple times and some nights I needed a cold shower. Tara is a brilliant author and I will for sure be reading more from her in the future.

I am going to bow out gracefully from this series. I just can't do it anymore. I can't with Nathaniel and Abby's inner dialogue.
Nathaniel is supposed to be a 34 year old man that has been a dom for 10 years. He's one of the top 20 richest people. He comes across as insecure, especially in the dom role. I mean that's the one place he should be confident. Right off the bat he's questioning if he can be both a dom and a lover. Seriously, I almost shut the book right then. And it just got worse from there. 'Oh no, I'm a bad dom. I have someone to talk to but poor Abby has no one. Oh whatever am I going to do?' Oh that's right, he's going to call Paul.
Then you have Abby who can't answer questions because she doesn't want to disappoint her master. It was so over the top in some spots and just so completely unrealistic as well. Then this whole we don't know how to just live and be people. I needed them to figure out how to adult sooner in this series.
Not to mention, these books are really expensive for an e-book. Thankfully, I was able to get these three through my library app, but there is absolutely no way I will pay $9.99 for any future books. If I had hope that Nathaniel would put his big boy pants and actually act like a dom, maybe. But after three books he still hasn't figured it out, I'm good. I'll pass on this one.

Fue interesante leer la continuación de la historia que nos presentan La sumisa y El dominante, los dos primeros libros de la trilogía cuentan la misma historia desde los puntos de vista de Abby y Nathaniel, este tercero suma los dos y sigue contándonos cómo se desarrolla esta pareja dentro y fuera de su relación bdsm, hecho que me gustó bastante.
Además, fue bueno ir viendo la mente de cada uno para reconocer el porqué detrás de ciertas situaciones y así todo fuera más real, las formas de pensar de Abigail y Nathaniel son muy entretenidas. Especialmente en sus momentos de amo y sumisa relacionándose con otros integrantes de ese mundo.
Ese epílogo años después fue realmente tierno. En definitiva, creo que es una trilogía que va mejorando conforme pasan los libros, y merece su oportunidad.
Además, fue bueno ir viendo la mente de cada uno para reconocer el porqué detrás de ciertas situaciones y así todo fuera más real, las formas de pensar de Abigail y Nathaniel son muy entretenidas. Especialmente en sus momentos de amo y sumisa relacionándose con otros integrantes de ese mundo.
