Have you ever felt like there just wasn’t enough time to do all the things that you wanted to do? Are you looking for a realm of increased productivity? This book journeys beyond time management to a spiritual reality that improves both the quality of life and the quantity of a person’s time. Learn from historical time benders’ practical secrets to shift your relationship with time.
If God has made time and we are His children then time should not be controlling us but we should be controlling time . Bending Time is a book by Dan McCollam that explores the truth behind time and how a follower of Christ should get time to serve him. There is a supernatural aspect but it does not come out of magic but through God’s Word and presence in one’s life. Dan uses different situations and stories to explain the concept of bending time through characters in the Bible and History as well principles by which a Christian should live. The book needs deep study and application to grasp the concept and should be prayerfully approached . I would suggest 2 to 3 reads to get it. A great book to read.
This book truly helped heal some of the warped perspectives I held about time and its role in my life. It is full of wise nuggets that will help you place time in its proper redeemed place.
I give it 3 stars only because reading it felt a little like reading several blog posts or a long message. But while I wasn’t a great fan of the mode/expression of the message itself it is worth reading if you struggle with phrases like “I don’t have enough time”.
Short, practical book to reshape perspective on kairos time vs chronos time. Learning how to pray and expect more divinely prescribed and empowered moments of time. Powerful book to revisit again in the future.
Eye opening and very practical. Thank you Dan McCollam for this teaching on time bending. I gained new perspectives on how to view time and my relationship with time.
