About the author

Sujatha was the allonym of the Tamil author S. Rangarajan, Author of over 100 novels, 250 short stories, ten books on science, ten stage plays, and a slim volume of poems. He was one of the most popular authors in Tamil literature, and a regular contributor to topical columns in Tamil periodicals such as Ananda Vikatan, Kumudam and Kalki. He had a wide readership, and served for a brief period as the editor of Kumudam, and has also written screenplays and dialogues for several Tamil movies.

As an engineer, he supervised the design and production of the electronic voting machine (EVM) during his tenure at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a machine which is currently used in elections throughout India. As an author he inspired many authors, including Balakumaran, Madhan.

ராஜி (ரங்கராஜன்) என்கிற இளைஞன் , தனது வாழ்வில் ஏற்பட்ட எதிர்பாராத திருப்பங்களால், சந்தர்ப்ப சூழ்நிலைகளால் நண்பனுக்கு எதிராக பொய் சாட்சி சொல்லுவதற்காக கூண்டில் ஏறுகிறான். அதன் தொடர் விளைவுகளால் மீண்டும் குற்றவாளிக் கூண்டில் ஏறவேண்டிய சந்தர்ப்பம் ஏற்படுகிறது. இப்படியானதொரு நெருக்கடியான சூழ்நிலையில் குடும்பங்களாலும் சுற்றியிருப்பவர்களாலும் கைவிடப்பட்டு பந்தாடப்படும் ஒருவனைப் பற்றிய கதை.
சுஜாதா அதிக நாட்டமின்றி அவசரத்தில் எழுதிய குறுநாவல் என்பதை வாசிக்கும் போது உணர முடிந்தது.சுஜாதாவின் மற்றைய நாவல்களுடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில் இக் குறுநாவலில் சுவாரசியம் குறைவாகவும் பாலியல் விடயங்களும் சினிமாத்தனமும் அதிகமாகவும் இருந்தது.

This book written by sujatha speaks about the "Importance of truth". The main plot of this story is When someone speaks or creates bad impression on you to others by being delusive, the right way to retaliate them is "speaking truth about them " when we get a chance to take toll on them. Good read.

hmmm... not so interesting. after reading so many ganesh vasanth novels expected their entry to solve the case. but that did not happen :( then i really felt bore. giving two stars one for Sujatha and another for the message. nothing else.
